38 Episode 17- Bird Tattoo

Cody hums as he, Vex, Logan and Zora all walk through the woods. The sun beaming on them. Vex had a hood over his head. Covering his head and body.

"I hate the sun." Vex groans as he had sweat running down his face.

Logan nods. "I wish there was a pond somewhere...that would be really nice.." he also had sweat running down his face.

Zora shrugs. "Feels like home to me."

"Of course it does." Vex rolls his eyes. Around his eyes were darker.

"So, are we still finding Skylar or did we all forget about her?" Cody asks as he turns to face them. He was still walking but now backwards.

Logan nods. "Of course. She's my sister." He looks ahead. Thinking of her.

"Well..." Cody sighs. "hopefully master hasn't killed her yet."

"Wait what?" Zora is taken back by his words.

"Um yeah. And why would he kill Skylar?" Logan asks confused an angry.

Cody shakes his head. "It's not like he wants to..." He looks forward. "He's turned into a monster because of vampires. He was once normal.." He looks at the ground. Sadly. "He loves helping...so what those vampires did hurt him. And I just wish he could be normal again..."

Vex stares at him. "I'm sorry.."

Cody stops. He turns around. Tears running down his cheeks. "HE WAS THE ONLY FAMILY I HAD! AND YOUR PEOPLE TOOK HIM AWAY!" He runs off.

"CODY!" Zora yells at him. "Damn. I'll go after him." She runs after him while Vex and Logan stay back.

Logan looks at Vex. "Hes just hurt. Don't take it-"

"No. He's right." Vex shakes his head. "I did horrible things to innocent people...and all because of my family." He clutches his fists. "I had a choice and I chose to do it. Everything."

Logan pats his shoulder. "You didn't have a choice, Vex."

"I did." Vex shakes his head. "I had many."

*Next Scene*

Zora stops at cliff. She smiles as she spots Cody sitting at the edge. She walks up to him. "You okay?" She sits next to him.

He had his arms around his knees. "I know it's not his fault..." He cries. "I just wish Master was still here."

"Cody.." She looks at him sadly. "I promise it will be okay.."

He looks up at her. "You think?"

She nods smiling. "Yes. We will find him."

He suddenly gets in her lap. Curling up in a ball. "Thank you.." He starts to purr.

She looks down at him startled. She goes to rub his head but stops.

"Have you ever lost anyone?..." He looks up at her.

She looks away towards the large mountains far away. She thinks about her dad. "Surprising yes."

"Who? If I may ask." He sits up straight.

She rubs her forehead. "Lets just say he was someone very important to me." She smiles down at him.

*Next Scene*

As the Master slept she stared at him. She groaned as she tried to move. Her skin was very pale since lot of blood loss. She manages to crawl towards him. She needed to see that marking again. Up close this time. When she gets close enough she slowly moves the hair out of the way. "Who are you?" she asks as she stares at the marking. But as she looks at the Masters face makes her eye's widen.

*Flashback*

Kat holds Isabella in her arms as she walks down the halls of the castle. Little Skylar, only being 3, yawning as she was sleepy. As Kat walked down the halls, Skylar, coo at a painting. Kat stopped. She looked up at the painting. It was of her son. She smiles down at Skylar. "You recognize him?" She laughed as she put her finger in front of her face. Skylar tried to reach out to the painting. Kat smiled as she looked up at the painting. "That my little one is your older brother. Connor.." The painting of Connor was painted right before he disappeared. And right on his right arm was his tattoo of a bird.

*End Of Flashback*

Skylar backs away. "Connor?" Tears form in her eyes as she stares at the Master. She suddenly hears voices outside. She stares at the Master as she stands up with the help of the wall of the cave. As she walks out of the cave she leans against the wall. Holding in her tears of pain as she does. When the sun hits her face she covers her eyes. As she looks around she hears the voices close. She looks back at the cave but shakes her head. "No.." She makes a run for it. Almost falling as she does. Her side causing so much pain. She finally is able to yell. "HELP!" She doesn't hear the voices anymore. Tears roll down her cheeks. "No..." She looks around scared and feeling alone. She starts to feel hopeless. She falls against the tree. Sobbing. It was her only chance. Her tears stop when she starts to hear yelling. She quickly looks around. Her eyes lit with joy when she sees Logan. "LOGAN!" She cries out.

Logan runs to her. He falls in front of her. "Sky.." he holds her.

She cries into his shoulder. "I'm so so so sorry!"

"Its okay." He holds her tight.

Vex, Zora and Cody all come running as well.

"Logan.." Zora pulls on him.

He looks up at her.

She points to Skylar's side. "She's losing a lot of blood."

Skylar shakes her head. "I'm fine. I just ripped it a little more. I want to get home."

"Sky.." Logan lifts up her shirt a little to see the huge gash in her side.

She pulls her shirt back down. "I'm fine!" She shakes her head. "Lets go home. Please.."

He nods. "Okay." He stands. Picking her up in his arms. But as he does he looks down at her.

"I can't wait to finally ea...t..." Her head falls back in his arms.

"Sky?" Logan puts her down. "No no!" He shakes his head. "Come on!" He starts to cry. "Please...come back..."

Zora kneels down next to him. "I'm so sorry..." She rubs his back.

Cody cries. "Skylar..."
