188 Supporting Always

Zero was silent for a while upon listening to Lianne's thoughts.

This was why he liked coming to talk to her about certain things that got his mind all messed up. She could somehow just get to the heart of the matter and have him consider things he may have not thought of.

"I actually didn't want to meet them at all at first," Zero admitted, "But then, Lily made me realise that I would need closure. She was right about that, but…"

He sighed, "Once I reached there and talked to them, all of that went out the window. They looked like trouble."

"And we don't like trouble. Or have our lives disrupted," Lianne agreed.

"Yeah, so I backtracked but changed my mind again when I heard how my supposed parents had been looking for me all this while," Zero continued, staring at his mug.

Lianne sighed loudly, "Of course you would be. Zero, you're not a robot even though you look like one. Or even act like one."
