Mama Gan studied the little girl that was helping out. She didn't really do much, but the action of her in the kitchen and being comfortable in doing such work was already a good start.

Most of the women after the Young Master were pampered princesses, who wouldn't dream of stepping in here. Mama Gan supposed some of them could cook, but she hadn't seen any who appeared either capable or willing to do so.

Still, one who would end up with the Young Master couldn't just be a housewife either. She would have to be the hostess for banquets and be aware of who is who in the industry. 

She hardly looked like the high-society type of girl so Mama Gan did not have high hopes for her.
