178 First Attempt

After breakfast, Madeline couldn't wait to leave.

She had enough of trying to keep a straight face as Kai and Lianne kept showing off, and enduring the face-slaps. Reimonna wasn't being any help either as she simply ignored whatever Kai said and did.

Then again, didn't she always?

When Madeline left the house, only Reimonna sent her off while Kai accompanied Lianne who was still eating. It was only porridge, for goodness sake, and she still took so much time to eat?

As Madeline huffed out of the house, she couldn't wait to start the next step. Even if this one failed, it didn't mean she had given up.

She'll be coming to the office quite a lot then and will use that opportunity to meet up with Kai often in the office. At least, that tramp wouldn't be there, right?
