14 It's Kelvin & Jacob!

"How are you feeling now, Mia?" Mark asked as he held her hand.

Mia awkwardly took her hand back as she replied, "I'm okay..."

Mark saw Mia's awkwardness towards him and didn't know what to do as he looked over to Lucas. Lucas obviously saw everything so he just signalled Mark to let her be and just to talk without any physical gestures.

Mark: "Mia, can you tell us what happened? Who did this to you?"

"It's Kelvin & Jacob" Mia had gotten herself together by now so she just took a deep breath and told everything to both of them.

After hearing everything Lucas & Mark's blood was boiling as they clenched their fists.

"I've called Rachel & Lily. They should be here by morning tomorrow. I think you'd just stay here tonight. We can take you to hospital for proper examination if you want." Lucas said.

"I'm okay now I don't want to go to hospital."

Mark: "But..."

Mia: "Please..."

Mark sighed, "Do you need anything else?"

Even though the situation was way far from normal and some people may stop thinking about everything Mia was literally starving right now. She said innocently, "I'm hungry..."

Hearing this Lucas couldn't help and a sweet smile came into his lips.

"I'll go cook something for you."

Mark saw Lucas's smile and gentle attitude towards Mia. It was not really normal between these two but given the condition right now he thought it's just nice of Lucas. After all his buddy was actually a really nice guy but only with Mia he used to act like a jerk sometimes!

They both cooked dinner for the three of them and after dinner when Mia was asleep they took out the camera from her bag that she brought back with her.

They saw the video. Those two b*st*rds actually recorded the whole thing but now it was just going to backfire onto them! It was a solid evidence against them!

In the morning Rachel & her parents arrived first. Mark explained the situation to them and also about her being uncomfortable with physical gestures. Rachel then went to see Mia.

When Mia saw Rachel she couldn't help it and started crying. Rachel hugged Mia but soon felt the reluctance in her. Rachel consoled Mia and then her parents also soothed her.

After sometime Lily & Raphael came back too and Mr. & Mrs. James reported the police about the incident. They took care of everything and handed over the evidence.

Mrs. James agreed with Rachel's decision to take Mia home with them and they arranged for everything. After helping Mia to their car Rachel turned around and hugged Lucas.

Lucas was taken aback because this cousin of his never, not even in Christmas ever gave him a hug. Then he heard her say,

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry for doubting you Lucas! And thank you for being there for Mia & for taking care of her! Thank you!"

Lucas smiled and hugged her back. He also never got close with Rachel mostly because she always used to defend Mia and accuse him of being at fault. But right now he felt really happy.

But this night was going to be a sleepless one!

Lucas was lying in bed wide awake. He was trying to sleep for hours now but couldn't. There was only one thing going on in his mind.

Mia.

He just couldn't stop thinking about her. And everytime he thought about her he remembered how she was crying in his arms and how she fell asleep holding him.

'I wonder if she's asleep or not...'

Then about that video! How he saw those b*st*rds treating her badly!

On the other side Mia was also tossing around in bed. She did fell asleep for a little while but she dreamt about everything about yesterday and now couldn't.

Next morning when Mark called Rachel to ask about Mia she told him that they were going to the hospital for a proper checkup with her Mom. Mark told her that he'll also go with them.

When Lucas heard about it he tagged along with Mark. Mark didn't bother to ask and they drove to the hospital.

After their investigation police found out about the two boys sent over to the hospital and were on their way to arrest them. But maybe these two weren't fortunate enough!

Mark was telling Rachel that they are infront of the hospital when she called. He heard Lucas's angry voice behind him cursing at someone and then BANG!

Lucas started beating two of the patients right there in the hospital. Mark rushed over and held Lucas back but in the next minute he let go of him and this time both of them started beating the two patients!

Rachel was on their way out with Mia & her Mom when she called Mark. She also heard Lucas and Mark's voices cursing and something like fighting before the call was disconnected. So she paced forward urgently leaving Mia & her Mom a little behind.

She saw Lucas & Mark madly beating two people. They were in such a rage that the guards were also having a hard time taking them off of the patients. After seeing their dislocated faces Rachel understood Mark & Lucas's actions. As it turned out these two unfortunate scumbag patients were Kelvin & Jacob!

Mark & Lucas has really beaten them badly. Guards were holding onto the both of them and Mark had calmed down a bit. But Lucas once again freed himself up and started hitting Kelvin & Jacob who now didn't have even an ounce of strength to protect or defend themselves.
