13 Did 'You' Do Anything To Her?

As Mark's words were still lingering in his thoughts Lucas remembered how worried Mark was about Mia and how he was being a jerk!

He tried to get out of the bed to call & inform Mark about Mia but everytime his body made even a little movement Mia would frown in her sleep and held him more firmly.

Lucas sighed and took out his phone and typed a message for Mark;

"Hey man! Don't worry anymore Mia is with me. Something has happened and I can't get into details right now! Don't call but come to my place as soon as the rain stops. I'll explain everything to you once you're here!"

When Mark received his message he was somewhat stunned!

'How & why Mia is with Lucas?'

'Something happened? What has happened?'

'And why the hell Lucas is calling her Mia? He never uses her first name & only calls her Johnson because she hates it!'

'What the hell is going on...'

Mark had so many questions but to get the answers he had to wait!

Two hours later the rain slowed down. It wasn't as heavy as earlier so Mark who was desperately waiting to get to Lucas's house got his keys and drove there.

Lucas earlier texted him that when he gets there he shouldn't ring the bell and just text him. He'll open the door for him so Mark informed him that he was at the door.

Lucas got his text and looked at Mia. She was still sleeping and holding onto him. He shifted a bit and tried to slip her hands off of him. He almost succeeded but then she gripped on his shirt.

This time it was not possible to get away without waking her up and it was the last thing he wanted to do right now! Hence, Lucas had no choice but to slip-off his shirt and leave the bed as quietly as possible.

Lucas took another shirt and opened the door for Mark. As soon as Mark stepped inside he showered him a bunch of questions;

"What is she doing here with you? When did she even get here? You said something happened, what happened? Did 'You' do anything to her? Where is Mia??"

Lucas let out a sigh and took Mark into the kitchen.

"Come here! I'll explain everything to you."

Lucas poured himself a glass of water and explained everything to Mark. The more he talked the more Mark's expression darkened.

"I thought if you'll be here when she wakes up she'll be more comfortable. I've also left a couple messages to Rachel & Lily to come home as soon as possible."

"You did good, man! I...I don't know how she managed to get away but I'm glad that she found her way here and you took care of her. Thanks buddy! Thank you so much!"

"Shut up! It's her! It's Mia, dude! Ofcourse I'll help her and I swear I'll kill that bastard!"

"I'm with you buddy! Did she tell you who was it?"

"No, she just said that they are disgusting and they touched her and they..." Lucas suddenly realized something and his eyes widened, "holy f*ck!"

"What!?"

"Mark, she said 'they'!

All the time when she was crying she kept saying 'they' referring to the scum that did this to her!"

"Are you saying she meant it wasn't a single person?"

"Yes! I heard it myself but didn't notice it!"

"F*ck! What kind of dirty b*st*rds are they!"

After finishing their talk Mark wanted to see Mia once so Lucas brought him to his room and slowly opened the door. When Mark saw Mia even though Lucas told him about her injuries, he found himself tearing up. He turned around to walk away and Lucas followed him closing the door behind them.

Lucas patted his bestfriend's shoulder as he realized Mark really cared and loved Mia deeply otherwise he wouldn't be like this!

*ring* *ring*

Lucas's phone rang. It was Rachel!

"Hello...Lucas what do you mean Mia needs me and come home ASAP! What happened? Did you do anything to her? Where is she? And why are you telling me about her?"

Lucas was getting really furious with all the blaming and scolding. First it was Mark & now Rachel! Was he that horrible towards Mia! Ughhh!

Lucas clenched his jaw as he spoke,

"She's fine! Her phone broke and what happened is..." and he again explained everything to Rachel.

By the time he finished Rachel was completely silent and she only said, "Okay! You & Mark take care of her."

She ended her call and ran to her parents and told them everything, "Mom! Dad! We have to rush back as soon as possible!"

Mr. & Mrs. James nodded in agreement. They always saw Mia as their own so there was no way they weren't worried about her.

"Don't worry sweetie! We'll take care of everything!"

When Mia woke up she felt pain all over her body. She also saw the shirt she was holding and recalled what happened earlier. She pulled herself up and sat back with the support of bedrest.

She reached out her hand to get the water but her hand shook and the glass accidently slipped and broke down!

Hearing the sound Lucas & Mark rushed over to his room and found Mia awake. Lucas looked around and spotted the broken glass. He gestured Mark to go over and sit with Mia as he started cleaning up.

Mia's soft voice came to him, "I'm sorry"

Lucas looked at her, as their eyes met he said,

"It's okay! Don't worry!"
