10 Wisden Warehouse

Lord Wisden's body is cremated at the behest of his family, as opposed to the current religious faith. The ashes were mixed in melt water, at the behest of his eldest son.

From the looks of the family, Sasha inferred that they are doing this out of sheer spite, for it's very much discernible Lord Wisden wanted to go out to sea after he died, just like pirates.

While many in the town have attended the execution, as soon as execution is over, most of the men set out on their boats.

Sasha had the distinct feeling most of these people are pirates, and they are fleeing for the fear of being caught.

She had a fairly good use for pirates, but this part needs to be done through a broker.

She did not want to give them reason to act above board by hiring them directly.

Now that Lord Wisden died, there's only one task to do.

Sort out his warehouse.

When the door to the warehouse was opened, Sasha was shocked into silence.

She had been aware that house Wisden has been avoiding taxes for a long time, and there were rumors they are thieves and robbers. Yet, she did not expect that rumor to be proven with this kind of overwhelming evidence.

The warehouse has a sufficient amount of grain reserves, but what shocked Sasha was the amount of gold Wisden patriarch has hoarded.

It seems he played scavenger on all the battles that ever happened around himself.

There were an overwhelming number of weapons, many of them Damascus steel.

Sure, these weapons were small, small as fruit knives, healer's blades, and needles.

Still, those small craftsman implements in this quantity are more than rare.

It's impossible to be found elsewhere.

Then, there's the number of stolen jewels.

There are twinrose diamonds of house twin roses, which are a set of pink diamonds, set in platinum, decorated with naga pearls from the southern sea.

This emblem was considered to have been brought from Rohan itself, and considered to be the best magical tool a water witch could have.

It is said the Twinrose founder exchanged it with his own twin daughters with the famed artisan Hermes of Rohan.

Sasha set it aside for herself, for she could sense the magic from the tool, just like she did with the dragon killer whistle.

'Winter Fist ' Sasha exclaimed !!!

What the F*** ??!!!

Winter Fist was lost in ages, more than two thousand years ago.

It was the ancestral weapon of the Winterchild family.

It served the purpose of a royal stamp, king's scepter, and oath stone.

The magic in winterfist sang to herself as Sasha neared it.

The king or queen takes their oath upon the winterfist.

Just when did the wisden's start stealing ?

Or did he acquire these by other means?

For a moment, Sasha very much regretted not acquiring Lord Wisden's social network before she killed him.

She caressed the rough hewn club, that looked like half of a mix between a blackwood and elderwood's mix, with it's blacks and white's mixing with each other very roughly.

Her brain suddenly became all the more clear as she touched winter fist.

No wonder her ancestors were called ice for blood, and stone for their hearts.

Winterfist makes you lose emotions, and think just in terms of facts. It's a perfect accompaniment for a king.

She waved her hand, indicating this one should be packed separately.

She moved towards the next object that called to her, a very unassuming wooden box.

She opened the box to find "Winter Star " The heirloom of the lady of strong fort.

Winter Star is made of blue diamonds surrounded by black and red diamonds.

It looks like it's made of sapphires and rubies, but it's made entirely of diamonds only.

The necklace vanished with her aunt Lydia, for she was wearing it when she was kidnapped.

It was not among effects retrieved from dragon castle. The fort built by drakon's on the biggest volcano in the wall of smoke.

Her mother lamented about the necklace at some point out of her father's hearing. It seems every lady of winterfell had worn it, save for her mother.

Sasha wore it immediately.

The diamond did not have an effect on her life the winterfist, yet, Sasha could feel the necklace did do something for herself.

However, she searched the rest of the artifacts very carefully.

It seems aunt Lydia has come in touch with Wisden's at some point.

Did they do something to her?

She searched all over the place, and once again found something relevant to their family.

Letters from aunt Lydia to her father.

Sasha read the letter.

Her aunt Lydia wrote she is eloping with a man she met at the tourney, not to tell uncle Bran about her leaving.

She also implored her father to keep it secret from their father.

However, the man her aunt eloped with is not the man she was found with at the end.

Sasha's visions regarding her aunt always felt shrouded in mist, as if every interaction is designed to keep her in the dark.

Now, she decided it doesn't matter at all.

For whom her aunt f**ked does not matter, as long as Dan is not her cousin.

With this letter, Sasha is absolutely sure.

It seems the letter is handed over to Lord Wisden to be delivered, with a sum of money.

Only, Lord Wisden kept the letter and all the payment to himself without delivering the letters.

If only the man had acted .. They .. could have prevented the demise of their family, even if they couldn't prevent the war.

After all, prince Rykkor was here to conquer the land, and their family would get embroiled in the war at one point or another.

The books collected by Wisdens are mostly journals. It seems they collected all the stories, accounts, etc.

The amount of information hidden in these books is at once shocking and unbelievable.

Sasha found Nell, the dragon rider's diary among the books.

Nell is the only person who did not belong to the Drakon family, yet tamed a dragon.

She fought in many wars with the dragon prince, who was said to be her lover.

However, when the politics caught up, Nell was abandoned brutally; then she returned to the wall of smoke and vanished into the unknown thereafter.

There was not just Nell's Dairy, but also a clutch of dragon eggs, in shades of orange, purple and teal.

Obviously, the eggs would fetch more than a fortune if sold.

Lord Wisden did not look like a man with good sense - but then - he probably came here every evening to laugh at the stupidity of high lords who could not even catch him when he is right under their noses.

Sasha put the eggs away.

Then, she recognized one of the weapons.

She had no idea about the weapons, but Raul and Dan had lamented, and lamented even more about this weapon for an entire month when they visited the Bog Shire.

They went on a treasure hunt for this sword day and night, for every day they stayed. They probably entered half the bogs in the area, regardless of the dead.

At the end of the day, her father had to step in and scold both of them for them to stop searching for this damascus steel broadsword, called Judgement.

It is the largest damascus sword after their house's Justice.

The sword belonged to the sky tower, which ruled the first town, the oldest city in the continent.

On top of that, the central university, which controls education all over the continent, is located in their palace sky tower.

One could imagine the influence of the Sky tower family with just that information.

Sasha had the sword packed separately.

She will display it in a prominent location, and ask for experts to identify the sword, and prove their ownership.

Sure, she could pack the sword and send it straight to Skytowers, but there are no benefits to her that way.

She has more than one favor to ask of central university, and currently, Skytower is the only family that has a complete navy in the entire continent.

Most of the other families lost their naval force through one conflict or another.

Sasha sorted through the rest of the journals.

She found many more interesting things, but none of them could compare to the items she already found.

The curiosities that Lord Wisden collected could fill a hundred page book and more.

What Sasha liked most about his collection is that he collected a great many seeds of many plants.

She gently packed all the seeds, carefully checking if any of them sprouted, and stored them away to be brought to wind castle to be analyzed slowly.

If only she had a forest elf with her.

Forest elves have lived on the continent of thousand kingdoms as late as five thousand years ago, when a war between forest elves and Winterchild family annihilated their race.

A peace treaty was forged, and forest elves disappeared into swamps of stride, and forests of the kingdom of water, but they were never seen again.

The cultivation method of elder trees disappeared from history along with the forest elves.
