Prologue- Betrayal

Somewhere high above in the middle of the starry night sky there were golden clouds drifting alongside each other. In the middle of these clouds there stood a floating island with electric blue crystals that seemed to be the cause of how the island was kept afloat. Lush green trees and rolling hills covered the island. You could regularly hear the roars, barks and squawks of the birds and animals that roamed the island. In the middle of the island there was a tall mountain, so huge that it resembled a pyramid reaching into heaven. But as tall as it was it didn't have any snow. Instead it released warmth, the heat of life. At the top there lied a palace. The palace appeared to be made of the stars and galaxies themselves. It was made of a black shiny material with glowing spots of light here and there. It had five spires with the middle one being the tallest and biggest. Around it there were gardens and a hundred hectare large courtyard as well as a balcony that circled around it giving one a perfect view of the island and the golden clouds in the distance.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM*

A huge figure burst out of the middle spire's wall like a bullet shot from a gun. The figure crashed into the courtyard creating a 10,000 meter long gash in the floor.

"HUO FENG[1]! WHY DID YOU DO THIS?! I TREATED YOU AS MY BROTHER!!" The figure coughed up blood.

From within the hole left by the figure, a gigantic flaming phoenix stepped out. It feathers shone with a fiery red light looking like molten lava as the flames poured out from them.

"Yuzhou[2] Long Shen[3], you always were so quick to trust others. While we did fight with each other against our common enemies as well as endured hardships with each other you were always too trusting for your own good. I have always desired to be the Cosmos God and soon I will become Yuzhou Feng Shen and you will become Gu Long[4]"

The figure then flew up. Its long dark purple snake's body with arms that ended with razor-sharp claws was covered completely in shield sized scales. Its body had spots of light like the palace on it. Its tail ended with a trail of Cosmos Essence- a dark substance that had galaxies, worlds and stars in it. It head was enormous with house-sized eyes filled with a dark purple light. Pearl white horns extended from its head and there were nostrils the size of two doors side by side. On its flank it had a long bloody wound, green liquid as well as blood flowed out of it. The dragon lifted its head and roared.

*ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAR*

It then shot out towards the phoenix, its brow creased from the raging fury it was feeling. The phoenix stood there calmly as if it wasn't being attacked by a dragon. When the dragon reached it, the phoenix simply flapped it wings. A wave of searing flames spread out. The dragon was completely engulfed by the wave of fire. It then once again shot out and crashed into the courtyard. It struggled to rise.

"It is no use Yuzhou Long Shen, I poisoned you with the strongest poison in the Cosmos- Dead Life Poison. even though it can't kill you it has weakened you so much that I can kill you myself now. Prepare to say your goodbyes to this place, Yuzhou Long Shen!"

The phoenix then sped towards the dragon. When it reached him it stuck its claws into the dragon's chest and ripped out its Cosmos Core. I then placed it on its own chest and the black orb full of stars sunk into its chest. Not long after, a deafening explosion occurred. Ripples of power emanated from the phoenix as it shed its bright red feathers. They were replaced by feathers full of celestial bodies as its eyes turned from red to a dark purple. Flames appeared once again around the phoenix but this time, yeah you guessed it, the flames where dark purple with celestial bodies drifting inside. It flew upwards.

The dragon's scales turned into red and golden scales while its eyes turned to golden normal eyes(not filled with so much energy that they glow). it fell weakly against the ground, curling into a tight ball as its power and immortality left it. As the electric blue crystals below the island turned dull and the Island began to fall, Gu Long thought:

'I will get my revenge, Yuzhou Feng Shen, just you wait.'

Everything then faded into darkness.
