5 Complete Qi Affinity, Unknown Tier and Unknown Dragon Type Constitution?

"We will continue with Qi Affinity. With this you will know which paths you can take and what elemental or weapon Qi is the most compatible with you. You will know what your affinity is by looking for the glowing sections." Explained Gao. "Here we have a Mirror of Affinity. You only need to drip a drop of blood onto the mirror and it will tell your affinity or affinities. Oh, it will also tell you how strong your affinity is. There will be a number towards the center on each glowing section that represent the tier. The tiers are Minor, Major, Mortal, Special, Secret, Semi Divine, Divine, Earth and Heavenly."

Gao stuck out a silver lined mirror that looked ordinary. It didn't have any decorations whatsoever. Duan then took out a small knife.

"Gu Long. Please extend your hand out." Gao filled in.

Gu Long extended his hand out and watched as the sharp blade pierced his finger. He found it almost negligible, as if his body was used to greater kinds of pain. Gu Long quickly put his hand over the mirror. The drop of blood slid slowly from his finger and dropped onto the mirror. A magical wheel appeared on the mirror. It had many sections with different colors and names. None of them glowed. All of a sudden, the wheel started spinning very fast. It seemed intangible but the wind that picked up in the surroundings said otherwise. The sections seemed to meld together until the circle was totally white. When the circles stopped you could clearly see 'Complete Qi Affinity'. This time there was no explosion but the Examiners fell onto the ground unconscious. Perhaps the mental stress of testing so many kids in a day caught up to them or Gu Long's results were so exceptional that they got tremendously exhilarated and fainted. Gu Long got frustrated.

"Can't they do a job without collapsing" Gu Long muttered to himself.

Fifteen minutes later the Examiners finally woke up and explained what Complete Qi Affinity is. Complete Qi Affinity means that you have an Heavenly tier or higher affinity with all types of Qi. After getting over their excitement the prepared for the final test.

"Take of all your clothes except your underwear[1] and lay face down on the metal table." Commanded Gao.

Gu Long did as he was told and quickly took of all his clothes except his underwear. Next, he walked over to the table and lay face down in the face hole he had not noticed before. Another thing he had not noticed were the metal cuffs that were placed exactly were his feet and arms were. He saw them and panicked. However, before he could jump of the table the metal cuffs had already been closed.

"Sorry kiddo, but some constitution cause great pain when they are even slightly stimulated. We don't want you to kill us or destroy the entire palace. We can't completely unlock a constitution but we can stimulate it enough to define which constitution and which tier it is. The tiers are the same ones as the tiers for the Qi Affinity." Duan clarified.

"What is this?" Cried Gao.

Gu Long shivered as he felt a finger tracing the golden scales on his back.

"He probably has a Reptilian Type, Snake Type or Dragon Type Constitution. From what we have seen so far, I am pretty sure that it is a Dragon Type Constitution. They are the most powerful." Duan declared.

"Shall we start?" Gao asked.

Duan nodded. Gu Long suddenly felt a cold, intruding Qi enter his body through the hand between his shoulder blades. As it seeped deeper it encountered resistance. The little Qi[2] that the child had instinctively fought back. The cold Qi started to push harder. This battle between these two forces wrecked Gu Long's small body. A trickle of blood streamed out from the corner of Gu Long's mouth. The pain was still insignificant though, so he didn't cry out or struggle.

*FLAP*

Suddenly wings unfurled from the stripes on Gu Long's back. They were small to fit Gu Long's back. They were scaly and golden.

*CLICK**CLICK*

Around the wing more golden scales appeared. Some scales were white and they formed white veins, they were encircled by the golden scales. They covered the area around the wings.Basically, the entire back of Gu Long. Next, Gu Long's chest lit up with a white glow, not visible to anyone because of Gu Long's position. White power extended from the light, spreading through Gu Long's meridians and veins. They glowed through his skin. Instantly, an enormous pressure extended from Gu Long's body. A power so great yet locked washed over the Examiners forcing them onto their knees. A majestic, powerful aura beyond imagination shrouded Gu Long so densely until it seemed to almost materialize. Senzing no danger anymore, the wings furled, the scales retracted, the pressure, light, aura and power disappeared and the room was once again in a mess.

"Check the constitution sensing tablet! Quick! What does it say?" A hysterical Gao shouted.

Duan rushed over to a jade tablet that was lying on a table towards the back of the room. When Duan read what was on it, he became stupefied.

"Hey, Gao. Hurry, take a look at this!" Duan called out.

Gao rushed over. When he read what was on the tablet he too became dumbfounded.

"Unknown Dragon Type Constitution, Unknown Tier; higher than Heavenly Tier." Gao murmured.

"Can you please untie me?" Cried Gu Long, incensed.

Gao and Duan rushed over and swiftly uncuffed gu Long and helped him up.

"We have to consult this with the Head of Imperial Examinations. It may take a couple of days to decide what to do so if you could tell us where you live, we can tell the good news when we are done." Duan said.

Gu Long nodded.

"I live in Gu Head House, Gu Family, Gu City. Is that clear enough?" Gu Long told them.

"Yes" Gao nodded.

They then went into the tunnel leading to the waiting room.

[1] I don't think there were underwears in ancient China, but this is another world so it doesn't matter.

[2] People accumulate Qi throughout their lives. Though they don't actively cultivate it, Qi does enter their bodies naturally.
