10 Brother, Are You Constipated?

Gu Long woke up the next morning drowsy from the late night sleep. He washed up and changed into a blue robe made of silk with the Gu Family insignia on his back. He walked of his room.

"Mom! Dad!" Still drowsy from his sleep, forgot the events of the past two days.

"Oh" But not for long.

He turned around dejected and entered his room. He sat down on his bed and but his head in his palms. He thought about his parents.

'I won't let you down! I will save you!' He promised in his mind.

*Knock**Knock*

Gu Long looked up. There leaning against the door stood his brother, wearing the same robe Gu Long was. He wore a difficult expression.

"Xiao Long… come with me. I have something to tell you."

Gu Long followed his brother out and down the stairs to the living room. The living room had red carpets with golden lining. The floor was also covered in a red carpet. The ceiling was white with the Gu Family insignia painted on it. There were sliding glass doors towards the left. The two couches were a dark shade of red and and use golden threads for the seams. There was an low, oval glass table in the middle between the couches which faced each other. On one of the couches there was an old wooden box. It was dusty and was unornamented. There wasn't much more that could be said about the box apart from the fact that it was 10 cm by 30 cm by 10 cm. Gu Kaiming sat down on the couch with the box, the one on the right of the entrance. Gu Long plopped down on the bench opposite his brother. They stayed in silence for a long time. Gu Kaiming scrunched his face up and continued wearing a difficult expression. From moving his face so much it turned red. It almost looked like…

"Brother, are you okay? Are you constipated? I can help you with that. I think there are some anti-constipation medicinal pills in Yao[1] Street!" Gu Long still had the mind of a seven-year-old child after all.

"I.. I… uh" Gu Kaiming stuttered as his face turned even redder from embarrassment.

"Brother! Don't try pushing it out here! Go to the bathroom!"

Gu Kaiming became a red tomato.

*Piuuuuuuuuuuuu*

A long squeaky noise came out of Gu Kaiming's rear end. He didn't notice it but he had unconsciously started to push when he became embarrassed.

"No no no NO! Brother! You are disgusting! How could you do that here! Go to the bathroom quickly! I'll go buy that medicine!"

A moment of silence.

"UUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHH! It smells horrible! Like rotten fish!"

*BLUP* Gu Long's cheeks puffed from the accumulating acid that started flowing in the wrong direction through his esophagus.

"BBBLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEERRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!" Gu Long started barfing, slid the glass doors open and ran outside. "AAAAAGGGGGGHHHH I STILL SMELL IT EVEN HE- BBBLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEERRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!"

Gu Long ran as far away from the house as he could.

When he finally stopped barfing he walked to a nearby river and washed his mouth and hands. He then went outside of the Gu Clan to Yao Street. After traveling for about ten minutes he found an old run-down shop. It had small windows and it was made of old wood. The entire place smelled of medicinal herbs. He entered the shop full of names and prices and approached the kind old man behind the counter.

"Five anti-constipation pills for my brother please, Elder."

The old man turned around and entered the back of the shop and returned shortly after with a biological bag[2]. He handed it over to Gu Long and Gu Long handed over ten taels of silver.

"Here Elder. Thank you very much." Gu Long said.

"It is nice to see that the younger generation still have some modals and respect their Elders" said the old man in his raspy voice.

Gu Long smiled at the old man and waved goodbye as he rushed through the streets toward the Gu Family Compound.

When he arrived there his barf had already been cleaned by some poor servants. He returned home and shouted with his arms raised proudly and a smile on his face. His eyes were closed

"BROTHER! I HAVE THE ANTI-CONSTIPATION MEDICINE FOR YOU! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING CONSTIPATED ANYMORE!"

*Chirip**Chirip* Only the sound of crickets could be heard.

"Huh? Why is no one thanking me and cheering for me?" Gu Long opened his eyes.

There were servants still cleaning his barf inside and his brother was standing in front of the couch looking his face completely red. They were all looking at him.

"Hello!" Gu Long said cheerfully to the servants.

The servants awoke from their shock and flustered, they quickly went back to work. From time to time they looked out of the corner of their eyes at Gu Kaiming. Gu Kaiming's face turned even redder if that was still possible. He wanted to go to the bathroom to calm down.

"I am going to the bathroom for a short moment. Stay here." He then rushed out of the room as fast as he could.

"DON'T FORGET YOUR ANTI-CONSTIPATION PILLS BROTHER!" Gu Long called out after his brother.

Gu Kaiming's face reddened even FURTHER and he ran even faster. Soon he was in the bathroom. He felt a sudden urge to sit on the toilet. He pulled down his pants and before he could sit down...

*Knock**Knock*

"Come in!" Said Gu Kaiming, thinking it was Gu Long.

The door open and in came a busty young maid.

"Young master told me to give the-" The maid froze looking at his unveiled lower body.

Her face reddened and she quickly put the pills into Gu Kaiming's hand before turning and running away. Gu Kaiming just stood there in shock, unable to process what happened.

"AWWWWOOOOOOO" A piercing howl echoed from the bathroom as if someone had just ripped his heart out.

'Why are the Heaven's so mean to me?' Sobbed Gu Kaiming.
