44 44. Corban Death

"Do you remember me, Thomas? I am sure you know my dad, Benjamin. Are you happy to see me now?" The Mysterious man asked. The mysterious man's identity was actually Axel.

When they became Gold Level tamer, they had known that their Fighter Level was at Gold Level where Thomas and Corban's Fighter Level are Still Silver Level, so he silently stabbed Corban. Axel's Physical power was stronger than theirs. That was the reason Axel attacked them head-on.

Corban was so shocked seeing Axel. He could not believe his eyes when he saw Axel. "This is impossible. You are still a child at that time, so you must have died in the wilderness. No Children can survive in the wilderness. This is impossible."

Thomas also could not believe his eyes. In fact, the man in front of him was a person that was created by his best friend, Benjamin. This man was the reason that Corban asked them to attack his best friend's laboratory.

Axel had become angry because of remembering those moments. Axel had now held Aura Blade in both his hand and was walking slowly to them. "You hypocrites only care about your fame and your position. Because of those, you are so easily deceived by Corban. Now step aside, or you will die with him." Axel threatened them.

Thomas, Anika, and Bryan were stunned hearing that, and they were now regretting their action. They were also joining that night in the assault, and they were easily deceived by Corban because of fear of losing a position.

Thomas was a bit worried about his words but seeing that Axel was heading his way, he could not think about it anymore. He also had learned some martial art so he could fight bare-handed.

Axel was swinging his blade at Thomas, but Thomas could see his swing and caught his forearm directly and, after that, threw him aside. Axel that was thrown aside swung his body so he could land on his feet.

"You are good. You can actually fight bare-handed so let me accompany you. Let us fight bare-handed. I would tell you how strong I am now." Axel said to Thomas while dispelling his blades.

"Is that so? Let me tell you I have learned every martial arts that I can learn I advise you to use your blades or you will lose." Thomas said to Axel. Thomas had known that he would lose to Axel, but he could probably buy Corban some time to prepare his Cosmon. Making Axel using his blade would probably make him tired faster.

"I don't need that. To deal with you, I think my fist are good enough and I also need to strengthen my move so you will be my sandbag." Axel smiled at him before dashing at him again.

Thomas frowned because when Axel moved, Axel was faster than before. Axel quickly stood in front of him and punched him in the face. Axel was so much faster than before that Thomas could hardly see his move.

"Do you think I care about you? Finally, I have the chance to kill you, but you are lucky enough to avoid it. If I can kill you here, the world's strongest title will once again become mine." Corban slowly stood up while also summoning flame tiger to protect him. He was laughing right now.

"What the hell are you thinking now? If you kill me, you cannot defeat Axel. His power is stronger than mine. If I cannot beat him, You also cannot beat him. Do you understand what I am talking about." Thomas was shouting at Corban. He was very mad right now. He didn't think that Corban could have this kind of thinking. Thomas was shocked when he heard what Corban was just saying. He never really paid any attention to Axel Aura, and when he focused on sensing it, He just knew that Axel was truly a Low Gold Level Tamer. Even though he could beat Axel with his Cosmon but this place was too crumbly.

I knew this place from Vincent. This place was an old underground Arena that was not used anymore. This place was usually used for important meetings or important events, and because of strengthening, it will attract some suspicion.

That was why this place was not rebuilt, and also, we were all high-level Tamers, so we could easily escape from this place, but it was different this time. We all were high level tamers. If we brought out our Cosmons, other people would also bring out their Cosmons.
