1 Baby Blessed by Heavens

Night. Four lightning bolts came down striking each four continents shocking the whole world.

On the Azure Continent, on the summit of the Celestial Mountain. An old man with long white beard and tattered clothes opened his eyes and stood with a shocked look in his eyes as he was looking at the sky.

Behind him was a silent and dense forest, He pointed towards the forest and shouted,

" Heed my command! Go towards where the lightning strike down and search for an artifact emitting a mysterious aura. Close down 5 kilometers surrounding it and kill all those inside! "

"Yes Sir!"

The thunder-like response resonated past the horizon inside the forest scaring the crows and tens of thousands of silhouettes can be seen jumping out of the forest and headed towards the lightning strike. They search every inch of the 5 kilometer perimeter where the lightning strike down.

In a far away village, southern part of Twin Pearl City, an elder with crane on his hand frowned as a mysterious light shone at the summit of Wu Mountain. A Strong looking man was beside him also looking at the light in the mountain. The elder said "Lin-san, go towards the summit of the mountain and see what is that light but stay alert as the forest is filled with ferocious beasts."

The man besides the elder grinned and responded "Yes elder, even though i can't kill the leaders of the forest, at least i can escape with my life if i were to meet any of them." a beautiful lady ran towards the man as a worried expression was on her face. "Honey! please be careful!" the man smiled and ran towards the forest.

As the man disappeared, The elder murmured "Let's hope that the light is not an ominous sign. Rebecca, lets wait for him inside my house." While she was looking at the back of the man, the worry in her eyes was increasing as she said "hmmm..."

Inside the quiet forest, a person's shadow could be seen running faster than even your average horse. The grass whistled through the forest as the shadow brush past the grass. "There are many wild beasts attracted by the light, seems like even the kings of the forest will join in too" said by the man as he frowned.

The man increased his speed run straight towards the mountain as he released his aura, nearby wild animals and even some strong ferocious beasts were scared by the man's aura and ran away from him. The man heard a loud noise on his right side which is the north side of the mountain as if there are huge beasts fighting. "Looks like i was right, even the kings of forests were disturbed and attracted by light. I should probably go left in case the fighting gets here."

The man unsheathe the sword on his back and gripped it tightly then ran to the south side of the mountain. along the way, he killed some of the troublesome beast so that it wont endanger the village hunters.

The man was nearing the summit when a gigantic ape attacked him from behind. He spat mouthful of blood as the wound on his back became corroded by poison. "Sh*t! the Ape king! how come he's here, is he attracted by the light too?" shocked by the sudden attack the man thought. Feeling that his death is near, the man, as if boosted by steroids, pounce towards the ape king as he fought it.

As he was fighting the ape king, he caught the eyes of the ape king warily looking towards north side of the mountain then saw some heavy wounds on its body. a sudden thought went in his mind, "looks like this king fought another king and ran towards here. No wonder its sneak attack didn't kill me, talk about sh*tty luck!." the man thought as he profusely sweat. He then ran towards the summit.

it chase him as the distance between them is slowly decreasing, even though the man was injured, he's still faster than your average person because he is a level-3 Elementary Realm Warrior. Though both of them are injured and the ape king's injury is heavier, it's level is higher than the man and normally, a beast of the same level with warrior is faster.

as when the ape was about to attacked him again, the man jump to the summit and was shocked when he saw, there, a baby floating enveloped by the light. The light then shone brightly and the protected the man from claws of the ape king.

The man saw an even more shocking scene when the light touched the claws of the ape king, it was pushed back and crashed towards a rock, seems like it was even more injured. The ape king fearing that the light would strike it again, ran down towards the forest as he bled heavily. The wound on the man's back was slowly recovering as the light enveloped him. The man saw his wounds slowly fading then looked at the baby, he walk towards the light as he tried to grab the baby.

As soon as the man carried the baby, it opened its eyes and look straight to the man. The man as though transported to divine land, saw a world filled with dragons, phoenix, tao tie, and other mythical creatures. This many creatures were bowing towards a single man. The man was filled with awe, reverence and fear as if he was looking towards a god. he saw this man's eyes were like two-swords crossing and icy blue pupil eye.

The man snapped back to reality and saw that the baby's eyes were blue and sharp like a sword. just like the man in the illusion.

He carried the baby back to the village and enter the village elder's house. Inside the house is the elder and the beautiful lady waiting for him. "Lin-meng honey, you're back!" said as she ran towards lin-meng and hug him, she didn't saw the baby on the man's arms as she was filled with worry.

The elder first look at him then was surprised to see a baby in the man's arms. "Wife, look, i saw this baby at the summit of the mountain enveloped by light". As soon as the man stopped talking the lady look and shock to see the baby was looking straight at her. unlike before, the baby's eyes were just like any normal baby would. The lady then, took the baby from the man's arm and started to talk to it.

The man then walk towards the elder and cupped his fist as he said " Elder, i found this baby inside the light, it seems like this baby's origin is not from this world. " Elder said "Hmm, It seems like it. If the world knows that a baby enveloped by light has appeared , they would try to harm the baby and manipulate him. This should not be disclosed even to the villagers. You, husband and wife should take care of that baby and make a story enough to make the others believed."

Lin-meng cupped his fist towards the elder "Yes Elder, Rebecca, you heard the elder, what should we name this baby?" Rebecca "I think we should name him, Lin-tian, Lin just like your name and tian as in heaven" Lin meng " yeah, that names suits him." The couple then cupped their fists towards the elder and left.
