Who Will Know...

A purple beam of radioactive destruction was how Shin greeted me. Everywhere it passed saw the smoke and dust from the burning city being parted, in addition to the damage it did to anyone unlucky enough to still be alive nearby- as they received lethal doses of radiation poisoning, all while their skin bubbled and their eyes melted.

Just as it looked like it was going to impact me, I instead manipulated space to have it go upward and part the clouds far above. During this very short span of time, I had also changed my body into a far larger and more powerful form, while simultaneously using telepathy to touch upon his mind-

*PAIN! AGONY! PAIN! AGONY!*

-Yet had to instantly withdraw from the sheer force of his suffering. That… was horrifying. Almost as if I could feel my own organs melting and popping, while my nerves were dipped in acid. All that from just a touch…

Telepathy lets one experience a small taste of what a being feels, like second-hand emotions or sensations… the stronger they are, the stronger they feel. For Shin's mind to evoke such potent sensations… he mustn't be able to feel much else BUT pain.

He really was as described; a being that wants to die, stuck in a body that fights to survive. More tragically… I'd managed to hear a plea in the short time that our minds had connected-

"kIlL…mE…"

I looked down at Shin with pity in my eyes "You poor creature…"

Another lance of radiation swerved around me… then another… and another, then dozens of times more, all as Shin continued advancing upon my position while still firing off his beam. Behind him… hundreds more of Shins humanoid bodies began appearing from over the blazing horizon…

All of their attacks continued failing to even get close to me, and I began systematically cutting them down one by one. Most would be reduced to a bubbling mess of blood from the blue and purple flames from my maw, while others would be swallowed by singularities and consumed.

Looking around, all of the giant humanoid Shin clones had been consumed or destroyed… mostly. The ocean of radioactive blood that Shin had spilt in the surroundings was still around… and began converging in the center of the no-longer burning city… as a more familiar form began taking shape.

Shin Godzilla was back to looking like his previous 4th form… if now large enough to dwarf even Godzilla Earth. His tail was longer, his body was larger, and his skin glowed a menacing red as the radiation in the area spiked even further up. His face opened up to show a maw full of multiple jaws and mis-matched teeth… as energy began to collect and form an extremely dark ball of crimson.

The beam he fired was no longer purple, but a blood red which was hot enough to literally vaporize any human structures it passed. I noticed that redirecting it took noticeably more effort, and I could only send it sideways and into a nearby mountain… which seemingly turned into dust to be blown away by the wind upon contact.

Creating a singularity above him, I was surprised when instead of eating him whole, it was instead instantly closed as the space surrounding Shin seemed to be locked in place, and multiple other humanoid clones began pulling themselves out of his tail to drop onto the ground- quickly numbering in the thousands and growing fast enough to be noticeable to even the mundane eye… as multiple of them now sported wings as they covered the sky.

Regular attacks worked, but every time one would be cut down, the pieces of it which remained would reform and create 2 more, as the hydra-like process would repeat once more. I had held myself back from using more destructive techniques so far, if only because while I didn't particularly mind killing too much, I didn't think this world deserved death.

But I quickly had to throw that mentality out the window. Life on this world was already doomed. I created a crystal and fired it through the cloud of clones- causing a *plink* as it bounced off of the main Shins body. Credit where it's due, the cloud of clones tried escaping, yet it was useless, as before the crystal could even touch the ground, it went critical with enough force to cause a mass extinction event.

*VEEP-VOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!*

The attack was powerful enough to literally break apart what remained of Japan, and only my control over earth was holding it from collapsing into the ocean. Even still… After the blue fireball of destruction had passed, it looked like a volcanic hellscape- with jagged mountains and active volcanoes dotting the once prosperous country.

From the slagged ruins emerged the final remains of Shin… bloodied and broken… yet still kicking. Even now I could see his wounds healing as his body adapted to become even more dangerous… I sent an attack his way, but he simply split his body apart to dodge the attack, and ended up creating 3 separate bodies to attack.

The first was akin to a giant, bloodied starfish/leech with thousands of blood-red teeth lining a disturbingly wide maw. It slithered over the ground toward me as regular breath attacks created holes in its body that were instantly healed or bounced off of its rubbery hide. As it moved, it leaked acidic blood all across the ground, and released a high-pitched scream with every step.

The second one was perhaps the most disturbing… as at first it appeared similar to a smaller version of Shin… before it went down on its forelimbs and lifted its legs and tail into the air- creating a twisted version of Ghidorah which screeched before joining the leech in charging me. It also released breath attacks that were noticeably stronger than Shins earlier attacks… not to mention there were more of them.

The third was almost like the humanoid clones from before… except with more exaggerated proportions- like the neck being made up of an open jaw that went all the way down to its stomach, with a human-like skull both at the end of the neck, and inside it. It also sported a row of blue crystals along its back… and I had a sneaking suspicion that it was made to stop another Crystal Detonation. Unlike the other 2, it simply circled around me from nearby, and occasionally fired off an atomic beam.

The starfish leech abomination was the first to reach me, as it jumped into the air and tried to engulf my body- only to be sliced into several pieces by my elongated claws… claws which were also made of inorganic materials since I didn't want to touch the sentient cancer monster. For that matter…

I quickly shifted my body into pure energy so as to avoid possibly being contaminated. I then focused back on the starfish and created a singularity in my mouth. I didn't know how Shin was fucking with space, but a singularity this close to me was still possible, and I used it to vacuum up the wriggling and disgusting remains of the bisected clone.

Uh… was that meant to kill me? No wonder they held off shooting me for a bit…

Ironically that changed a moment later, as the Ghidorah clone shot 3 beams to attack me, as did the humanoid clone. They couldn't touch me, and I walked through their attacks while absorbing the energy, before firing back and cutting them in half, before using Gravity Manipulation to pull their bodies toward me.

Both of them split into millions of red slug-like forms before reaching me, and began spreading in every direction and into the cracks and crags nearby…

This is getting ridiculous…

In a bid to bring this battle to an end, I began assuming my full size- while using gravity manipulation to lessen my own gravitational effects. Beneath me, I could see what remained of Shin once more combined… as red vein-like protrusions spread across the world and began absorbing biomass… massively increasing his size.

I noticed just how much faster he was progressing, like his power was simply snowballing as time went on… as the dorsal plates on his back grew into massive crystalline wings of a menacing red, and the very ground beneath his feet began to change into a fleshy landscape from which he drew power.

I could now clearly hear the pleading from this world. I could hear how it wept upon realizing the end… of how it felt fear toward this cancer upon its surface… 

no more.

You've forced my hand Shin…

Drawing upon all of my hearts, I began collecting energy in preparation to fire off a Dragon King's Breath. Time seemed to slow to a crawl, as even without firing, rotating rings of energy began appearing in front of my mouth, slowly but surely getting smaller and layering over one another… until what looked like a black hole with a blinding white ring surrounding it was all that was left.

I instinctively knew… that if this attack hit a planet… nothing would remain. There was no sound… just light, as all of Shin's body, and a large portion of the planet, were swallowed by the brightest light. A trench that would forever scar the surface was left in its wake, as clouds across the planet were split, and oceans along the way simply evaporated. Then came the sound… the shockwave.

The part that killed more creatures than anything else… halfway across the planet, beings were vaporized by the wall of superheated air… and those even at the furthest distances were rendered deaf or dead from the noise, which had vibrated at such a high frequency as to turn their insides to soup.

But it wasn't like there was much left anyway… the disease that is Shin had already killed and eaten most of what was left… leaving not much else beyond a radioactive hellscape behind. Speaking of… Shin still wasn't dead. Sure every part that the light had even been near was reduced to atoms… but there was too much of his blood left, too much flesh that had been ripped from his body around the world.

*CRACK*

*POP*

You can't be serious…

A heavy feeling of sorrow and pain washed over me, as I felt how the planet itself seemingly went quiet… a feeling I hadn't felt since being in the Anteverse back when this all started. The cracked landscape around the planet began spewing forth radioactive lava- blood red in colouration and shooting out in enough quantities to quickly start flooding the planet.

I quickly flew outside of the planet's atmosphere, as the cracks widened and a blood red cocoon broke through the surface- before itself breaking open to reveal a twisted abomination that looked like a mix between Godzilla, a dragon, and a fucking necromorph. It had bony spikes sticking out everywhere, with glowing red light emanating from its chest, wings upon its back, and worst of all… it was large enough to actually be slightly bigger than me.

It released a roar toward the sky, as the already destroyed planet quaked further with its emergence. Before anything else, and before it could stop me, I created a clone solely for destruction, before covering my main body and Shin in a portal as we emerged upon the sun.

My control over gravity and my adaptive form went into overdrive to adapt me to the sun's gravitational force, while the heat was actually rather comfortable. Shin on the other hand, seemingly manifested a slightly visible barrier around himself that seemed to simply negate any ill effects. "Oh for the love of… DIE FOR FUCKS SAKE!"

I absorbed and channeled the power of all my hearts, and that of the sun into multiple Dragon King's Breath attacks, as Shin seemed to be barely holding on at the start… but ramping up and becoming harder to destroy by the second. In my rage, I pulled on more of my power… on more of the sun, as the breath increased in power… 

Shin couldn't even get up from under the onslaught, as I went directly in front of him and began tearing into him with multiple separate heads that began either eating him or firing off their own attacks. Shin responded with a similar tactic by biting me back, but me being made of energy made any such attacks worthless, so it essentially boiled down to me beating the ever loving shit out of him while he desperately tried to outpace the damage.

Our sizes also continued to grow, myself growing from absorbing the sun and Shin, and Shin generating matter from energy and increasing his size and healing rate. Slowly at first, but getting faster with time, Shin was losing the back and forth… as where once I was smaller, I now began overtaking him in size- and thus increased the damage I was outputting, making the difference grow larger… I was snowballing in power.

Breaking out of my rage, I noticed how the once vibrant sun had changed from a yellow coloration into a darker shade of red… 

Not from Shin… I'd simply absorbed so much energy that I'd shortened the sun's lifespan. I looked down at the smaller and defeated abomination that was still trying to fight at my feet…

"ENOUGH!"

Crushing him in a telekinetic grip, I brought him in front of my face, and opening my mouth I created the largest and most powerful singularity I could… before throwing this blight upon reality into it.

What?!

As I was about to head back to Earth, I felt a pressure descend upon me, as my surroundings turned black- leaving only a single bloodshot eye staring at me as a humming noise began to echo…

"What the fuck?!"

The humming seemed to be getting louder in the background, quickly becoming unbearable, as more eyes opened from seemingly nowhere, and voices began to make themselves apparent…

"Mine…"

"Food…"

"Hungry…"

"Thief…"

"Eat…"

"Thief!"

"THIEF!"

"THIEEEFFFFFFFF!!!!!"

As my energy body somehow began to bleed from the eyes, nose and ears, A roar from somewhere seemed to drive them all off, as I found myself back on the sun.

"What just?..."

Before I could finish that sentence, I found myself vomiting up a black, shiny liquid… It didn't evaporate, and seemed to simply snuff out the light nearby. I'm not liking the look of this… 

I felt dirty, as if I'd been submerged in raw sewage… and I could feel my body being slowly corrupted by whatever was observing me.

From this I felt incalculable amounts of rage! How fucking dare whatever those things were try to touch me?! 

Feeling the presence trying to influence my body, I roared into the void and promised untold pain upon those voyeur pieces of shit, while activating Nidhogg' Chosen to drive them off "I WILL FEAST UPON YOUR SOUL YOU FUCKING AMOEBA! GET THE FUCK OUT!!!"

Finally, whatever was allowing them to observe me seemed to shatter… as I felt like I was free from their disgusting grasp. I vomited out the remaining black liquid, as with each bit removed I felt better and better. After it was all out I used a Dragon King's Breath to erase it from existence.

This ordeal had affirmed my thoughts on the need to get stronger… I couldn't allow myself to be so weak as to be susceptible to such bullshit again!

That some random entity can just… mess with me without repercussions?!… It makes my blood boil! 

Not wanting to spend another minute here, I shrunk down and portalled back onto the remains of Earth- linking up with my clone which had glassed the entire planet and erased all traces of both Shin… and life in general.

I quickly assimilated the clones memories-

It, by which I mean I, had spent hours razing the surface into scorched glass- leaving no ocean for him to hide in, no land to sneak about… no living creature for him to assimilate. This world… was dead already… I'd just made sure of it. And yet still I kept destroying, making sure that every trace of Shin was erased. Had he had more time, I'm sure he would've become unstoppable, or possibly even forced me to leave.

I felt pity for him, true… but that's precisely why I spent even longer making sure he was dead. No being should be forced to exist in the way he did… and no world should be forced to accommodate them… or create them.

I nodded at my own actions… Narcissistic? Sure… but I'm just happy this is over. I feel like shit after that impromptu meeting not long ago, not to mention rather unwell after the sludge vomit thing… The last thing I need is a round 5? 6?… whatever we're up to with Shin.

Happy at the knowledge he wouldn't be coming back, I left the planet and returned to the sun. It no longer supported life on Earth, and was on its last legs regardless. It would become fuel for my growth.

I assumed my maximum size, and began absorbing its energy once more- this time fully assimilating it instead of using it to fuel attacks. It took far longer than before, as the Sun ballooned in size, before getting smaller once more while I eventually grew to around the size of Jupiter- this process taking decades to fully realize.

Eventually I knew it had fully dissipated, as a notice crossed my vision-

I curled up into a ball where the sun originally sat- emitting the heat and light it once had done. I then let myself fall into a deep slumber as I felt changes to my body far beyond any previous ones begin taking place…
