1 Condition Black

In a Technological Laboratory, situated at the outskirts of Kursk-Villa.

The constant blaring of a siren drowns the place of its peace and quietness. The noisy alarm kept obscuring every bit of ambiance in the once beautiful scenery of the tech lab.

Men in pure white lab coats rushed out in their numbers.

There was a somber expression on all their faces telling the tale of the sudden occurrence of a problem.

Normally, there are two types of conditions one can have in a high

Metech labs such as this. There's a Condition Black and a Condition Red.

Condition Black is a situation whereby one part of the Company's resource is having a thorough breakout. In all modesty, the condition black can be a case of, maybe... aliens invasion from one of the test tubes that the impervious scientists had been working on.

Meanwhile, Condition Red is assumed to be the terminal destruction of the entire company as a whole.

No one prayed for a Condition Red. They might lose everything that they've worked for which of course took ages to come to an accomplishment.

The noisy alarm kept blaring.

It was Condition Black. As much as Condition Black didn't threaten the company, it threatens life. Anyone can die.

So, it's a matter of life and one's safety.

The next minute, mechanical space invented robots were marching out in a single file, having a semblance of order and decorum. Each had a rifle, tungsten gun ready to unleash torrents of bullets flying. The white frame of the company displayed against the wall was encased in a glimmer of red glow.

In a spacious office room, a figure was seen standing with a damned expression.

A Condition Black was no laughing matter and to be correct, the figure looked tensed.

It was a man, Nate Jack.

"What the hell?"

Nate Jack hissed as he fumbled with his cellphone.

His face was contorted in an awful grimace, his glassy black eyes ignited with murder.

While he was trying to think of a solution for the situation at hand, Nate had already called for reinforcements.

He couldn't risk going out to battle because as it seems, one of their test tubes had opened a rift from the supreme realm evoking creatures into the real world and these creatures were Undead.

Most importantly, he did not believe that a mere tungsten gun would destroy them completely. Eventually, they'd spread all over to the world infecting citizens.

But...

Nate couldn't just let Undead take over the world, this was the waking world for crying out loud.

His glassy black eyes were consumed with confusion.

He had no special armaments that would protect him, so that he wouldn't be infected by a mere bite.

Still, an undead would always remain an undead. Ghastly, powerful... and much worse, corrupted.

Kursk-Villa is one of the most popular cities in Tokyo.

A city that had amassed even greater cities themselves in engineering and technology.

Kursk-Villa was known for their optimal resignation to always tap from supremos and dark past while running variant tests in the waking world.

Sometimes, they end up transporting one of them into a realm and are unable to bring them back, leaving them in a world that no longer needs them.

Kursk-Villa was the name of the City and the Tech Lab had represented Kursk-Villa so many times and now was not an exemption. So if something was bound to go wrong with one of their technologies or tests, it's up to the reinforcements to prepare themselves to handle it by themselves.

Finally, Nate had decided.

He dashed into a smaller room that looked like a closet and came out with a jacket armed with powerful weapons.

The jacket was metallic in nature that can protect his chest and heart from impassive attacks.

With the cellphone in his hands, he dialed a number and placed the phone unto his ears.

Then he walked out of the room.

Walking through an alley, Nate glared at the alien space invented robots that were moving in a single file, waiting for their turn to release a tungsten round of torrential bullets.

Finally, the call went through.

"Timothy, I want to see you... Prepare the backup weapons. It's already going crazy here." Nate said and ended the call.

A crashing sound resounded not too far from him and he turned to face the source of destruction.

"Fuck..."

He cursed.

"Will they be able to hold back the hordes?"

Screams erupted.

Soldiers were ordering younger soldiers.

"Fire rounds..."

"Keep your aim good! Jesus Christ, they are getting past us!"

"Get away from there!!"

Nate took another direction.

His footsteps hastening at each sound of the tungsten.

The metallic sound all assaulted his ears at once making him cringe at the impact.

He then pushed open the nearest door to his left and dashed into it, disappearing from view.

Nate found Timothy.

"How have we miscalculated? There are like a million hordes out there, threatening to pull down this company."

Timothy said, loading ammunition into a large siege engine and Nate glared at him.

"I... I am as confused as you are."

Nate's response was cold.

"These undead carry like 80 percent of Supremos... you know, the diabolic Cosmo." Timothy said and Nate's glassy eyes turned bored in an instance.

"I don't know what they carry, but let's get rid of it immediately, the hordes are getting into the company and I don't think that even the space invented robots would survive the onslaught."

"Have you tried the Neptal Sequence? It should cause a lot of damage, go activate the outward ring." Timothy remembered and Nate quickly dashed out of the room leaving the young man alone to battle with the ammunition.

The Neptal Sequence is a very biological weapon that can cause destruction capable of  maiming lives.

Nate knew that activating the Neptal Sequence could end the company's structure with one blast. So, before doing that, he had to be the bait.

Being the bait doesn't necessarily mean that he'd sacrifice himself to save the town, no way. But he wanted to shift the attention of the hordes to himself so that he could lead them away from the company's territory so that the impact of the Neptal Sequence wouldn't turn the structure to a complete dust.
