3 The Cordination

It was 4 in the morning when I heard Austin's voice calling my name . He is one of my best friends. He is almost an year older than me basically is just 10 months older than me as his birthday is on 8 September and mine is on 14 July. I opened my eyes and saw directly in his dark brown eye and then I saw his face, his dark brown hairs messy as usual. I wasn't fully awake so I replied by saying , " Austin what are you doing in my room" in a questioning tone "or wait a minute" I continued as I got up and looked around "Where am I?" in a confused tone. " Relax" said another voice I looked and saw Alexa my other best friend standing near the big bed I was on. As usually her blue eyes were looking gorgeous but looked worried about something like something was bothering her. She was fixing her blonde hairs again and again which means she is nervous. She was standing near a boy similar of our age as I saw him I don't know why I got a sense of similarity as he had the same eyes and hairs just like me . His eyes were small as mine and I don't know why tears rolled down my eyes and I saw tears in his eyes too. The only time I felt this kind of connection was when I met Austin and Alexa for the first time .Suddenly I asked " Is he Prince carl?" as I have watched him on the news . "Yes he is" answered Alexa in her usual tone. " It is weird he is your cousin" said Austin and I was shocked so much that I thought that it was a joke but when I asked them they denied it . "Where am I ?" I asked and they replied , " The Royal Palace" "But how can he be my cousin?" I asked as I was still confused . " Just like Austin is my cousin" said Alexa. They told me that they were called by the Queen and reached here at 12 in midnight . As they were about to tell me about my family Carl suggested that I would like to drink some water first and he was right as I was really thirsty . After that I got worried cause I wanted to see Brown ( my pet a brown female dog ) and turns out that it was sleeping near my bed the whole time. Suddenly the Queen came inside the room she was very friendly and told me everything and that my coordination was today only . I tried to say that I wasn't ready but she ignored it and said that I was ready. She introduced me to Gabriala ( A blonde lady with blue eyes and a good height ) . " She is your personal assistant and will help you" said the Queen " and Austin and Alexa will be staying with us in the Royal palace till my next order" she completed and left the room . I was a little relaxed after that . Gabriala was really sweet and kind and I told her to call me Cortney instead of princess . " I need to make a lot of arrangements" said Gabriala " Don't worry Gabriala I will help my sister"said Carl and for some reason I felt happy as if I was waiting for this moment as if I was his real sister . Gabriala left and Alexa said that anyone can think of us as twins . We became so close friends in such a short time as if we we have known each other for years . Carl was suppose to teach us about coordination but he asked Alexa to open the box near us and told Austin and I to come near . We were so confused but then Carl told us that he has been working on these bands which are inter connected and have a lot of features. I got a pink one and Austin got a red one whereas Alexa and Carl got purple and golden one. He told us how to use them and was very thankful to Alexa for helping him this morning to complete these. As he was about to tell us about cordination my sister Rebecca and Josh came inside . I asked them if they knew about this and they said that they knew from the the start and teased me that I was the only one kept in dark .I teased them by saying that I was elder than them but Josh said at least he is elder than Rebecca and they left the room. Rebecca is a spender but is really sweet too although we fight a lot but that is normal and as for Josh he and I can't remember a day on which we didn't fought but are always on a team. I was shocked that my family told my little sister and brother but kept me unaware of everything. Anyways Gabriala came in the room and took us to a room full of gowns and Carl and Austin were sent to the other room. "I am gonna die" I said to Alexa "Your not gonna die" replied Alexa "I am not joking" I said "I know"said Alexa . I was worried as I am kind of a tomboy and this room was full of gowns which are not my first choice . We were looking at the dresses when suddenly we saw two gowns in another room and we went there and were glad to find the perfect gowns looking at them we got lost . The gown I selected was the gown that was fully covered with pink roses from top to bottom and had a red gliter belt and red lace at bottom whereas the gown Alexa selected was purple and was full of purple butterflies had a golden belt . We went back in room where Carl and Austin were waiting for me . " How was your experience?" asked Austin as we entered "Not bad" I replied and I know he was not expecting that answer . Gabriala entered the room with the bunch of people and they started to do our hair and makeup "Good luck" said Austin "I need that" I said as I really needed that . When we were ready Queen called us in the garden . We reached there we met Carl and Austin and were wondering why the Queen has called us . The Queen reached there and gave me one of the biggest shocks of my life . She told me that I will have to become the Queen of Aristona in two years( when I will be 16) . I told her that would not be ready and would be the worst ruler but she said that I would be the best ruler in the history of Aristona and she said that so confidently that I didn't wanted to break her heart. After she left suddenly we felt a coldness near us. We turned around to see Kaitlyn ( she was the royal minister and is responsible for everything related to the throne and royal family) . She had the most beautiful light blue eyes and short blonde hairs . " Don't worry and don't be afraid to ask for help " said Kaitlyn and left . "We need to run" I said "like this" said Carl pointing at me and Alexa . We looked at each other and smiled . We waved our hands and our hairstyles turned into ponytails . Carl asked us , " You can do magic too" we looked at him and he showed his right hand and a bowl of golden gliter was floating over it we all also showed him our magic . I have pink gliter , Austin's is red and Alexa's is purple . I think that only we had magic in Aristona so it became our little secret. Alexa and I changed our hairs back as they were as I was only joking and as Austin said, " Cortney never runs away from challenges".

We were waiting in the as I was only joking and as Austin said ,"Cortney never runs away from challenges" .

We were waiting in the room waiting when Josh and Rebecca came inside . "How do you feel sister? Did you got the shock ?" asked Josh "What?" I asked him "We knew what Queen told you" said Rebecca "I am not talking to you" I said "Oh come on , and are you sure you're my sister?" asked Josh and I said, " No matter what I will always be your elder sister" I replied "elder" I repeated . Then we went in the ball room with them we met our family and I introduced Carl to them and they were very happy to meet him . We decided to meet Gabriala and tell her that we are now going to meet my family I didn't knew about . I accidently walked in to Kaitlyn on the way back to Austin and Carl . "Let's go"said Alexa "wait" said Austin and stopped us . He grabbed my hand and said , " What happened to your hand?" . There was a burn on my hand but I don't know how I got it and I saw Austin's hand has identical burn on his hand too "and what about your's?" I asked grabbing his hand . Alexa and Carl covered us as they knew we were going to use our magic to heal each other . We healed each other and Austin said , " How many times do I have to say, take care of yourself you careless person" scolding me "You too" I replied scolding him in return. We met my family and they were very nice and Olivia and Ariana are very fond of Josh and Rebecca .

Then it was time for cordination and my father placed the crown on my head and I don't know why I felt like my powers were growing , the other thing was that the crown shined when it was placed on my head . It was beautiful with a pink heart shaped diamond in middle , one green heart shaped diamond on each side, a golden base and red roses above the base.

We walked around the palace and went to sleep after that. I was sleeping when I suddenly heard Brown barking. I woke up and found Alexa was awake too . Then I saw an image at the door. "Who is there?" I asked but the image vanished as we got up to see who was it . We thought it was just a misunderstanding and went back to sleep.
