11 Unpleasant residents of the forest

Kiro arrives at the cabin and lies on the floor . His eyes get heavier and heavier , until he decides to close them . He finds himself at the field , Esgrieth is sitting right in front of him . She is snapping petals form the flowers she picks up.

-So what are you doing ?

-Life is so easy to take , don't you think so?

-What do you mean?

-I was talking about the baron you assassinated.

-He was a piece of crap , how many more people would have died if I hadn't taken him out .

-Oh was he? Or was he just executing law. As far as I know tax evaders go to prison , even in your world.

-They are killed in prison , if not by guards , by the other prisoners.

-Did the baron give the orders?

-He knew what was going to happen to them , he didn't care

-Did he have to?

-That's a good enough reason to take him out .

-That sounds more like an excuse , but the deed is done , it would be a waste of time to talk about it. May I ask you a question?

-Where did you learn swordsmanship?

-Back in japan , my grandfather was a kendo master, he trained me since I was a child , it was my favourite thing to do after school, I always remember leaving school and heading straight to my grandparents house , and my grandpa would teach me kendo.

Esgrieth lies on the ground and asks Kiro:

-How was your life back in your world ?

-Well , I was just a normal high school student , I lived by myself , my parents live abroad .

-Were you all alone?

-I had a few friends , I don't know if they miss me or not but I know I were not all alone. What about you , do you have a backstory or something?

Esgrieth smirks and says

-I guess you are right

Kiro leaves the spiritual realm . Esgrieth thinks :

"I'm glad humans have such a low level of patience"

Kiro wakes up on the floor of the cabin

-Well , I don't have any plans for today , I should train , if I trained more , I would have taken the Aldrich out no sweat.

Kiro runs toward the small lake , to arrive for 15 minutes. He takes of his blades , his coat and his clothes and finds a big rock then he ties it with his leg.

"I guess this should do"

He throws the rock into the lake and the rock drags him underwater. He goes deeper and deeper until light can't reach him . His lungs feel like they are going to explode. Then he swims back to the surface . As soon as he reaches the shore he hears a woman's voice screaming:

-HELP , HELP!

"Well it ain't my problem."

The voice starts coming closer and closer until a young girl comes out of the forest , being chased by what it seemed to be beast men , wolves walking on two feet.

-HELP , HELP ME!

-What the hell do you think you doing ,bringing them here !

-Stop talking and do something .

-Alright , Time leap

The time slows , Kiro grabs his sword and dagger . The time goes back at normal .

"I shouldn't waste my energy on this guys"

-Bloodlust

Kiro parries an claw attack with his sword , then stabs the beast man in it's skull with the dagger. then he charges to the other beast man decapitating it. He throws his dagger , damaging the last beast man then he stabs it in the chest , finishing it . Kiro goes towards the girl and points his sword at her

-You are next

-Wait , what , why?

-You saw me , isn't that obvious .

-Wait , now I remember , you are the guy at the posters , the one that has a 20000 Dreza bounty on his head . Wait I won't tell anyone I swear.

-Nah , I don't buy your crap.

-Come on , I can help you , I can help you .

-With whatever , I can place bounties on people , I can declare quests , I can help you with whatever , just please don't kill me.

"This might be useful , plus I want to keep my kill count low , I don't want a bigger bounty on my head"

Kiro puts his clothes and his coat on , and picks up his main blades.

-Now what were you doing in the forest , I thought receptionists stayed at the guild.

-There is life after work , you know I was going home.

-Not everyone can afford to live in the capital , So I live in a small village nearby , I was in my way home when this beast man attacked .

-I see , I will be headed in my way , and take this a warning , You better forget that you met me , if you dare to reveal my location to anyone , I will be coming for you!

-Good and remember , You owe me!

-Right , I should be going

"Phew.. that was a close one , that guy looked serious , well I hope I never see him again."

Kiro heads to the cabin and then thinks about the beast men attacks.

"I could use a side weapon besides my sword and my dagger . I can't grow claws so I guess I will use a gauntlet , no no no , I can't forge , plus I don't have the materials , wait , I can use that guild girl to order a claw gauntlet.

Kiro's eyes turn black , he sees a human walking in a far distance .

-Time leap

-The time slows , Kiro runs toward the receptions until he arrives at her. The time goes back to normal. The girl screams in terror .

-I have a task for you

-Now? god you scared me

-I need you to go to the blacksmith and tell him to forge a claw gauntlet , tell him to be based on beast man claws. and don't forget I want it forged with obsidian .

-Those things cost money as long as I remember.

-Money ain't a problem

Kiro hands him a coin pouch

-1000 should be enough , when he finishes it , leave it near the lake , understood?

Kiro then disappears into thin air.
