1 Hisoka and Gon

Look I know a lot of people might think I'm a troll bc I'm talking bout something really weird but I'm completely serious.

Hisoka and gon are literally meant to be read as future lovers in the story.

In the story we know hisoka says that he's waiting for Gon to mature to "fight" him but why mature? We've already seen a major instance of Gon demonstrating imense power so he's basically already equal to hisoka so it's obvious hisoka meant sex. Think about it who gets a bner for fighting someone and has hisoka ever gotten horny for fighting anyone else? Yeah he was excited to fight chrollo but he never got turned on.

All of his hrniness is usually directed at Gon.

There are also videos of Hisoka being horny for Gon on YouTube so just search that up bc I don't wanna get too deep. ALSO the first time we see Hisoka get worried is when Gon is on the verge of death THE FIRST TIME.

And Gon? We see explicitally in the first opening that Hisoka is Gons biggest rival and he forces himself to get up JUST for Hisoka.

I don't expect Gon to contextualize and show explicit interest in hisoka right now he's too young and on way too much adventures but it's clear in the story that one of Gons goals is too defeat Hisoka and when he gets older he'll eventually realize that what he really wants is (sex) from hisoka.

Another thing Killua is way more advanced than Gon he's also the son of a top assassin family so in that reason if hisoka really just was interested in Gon bc of power it wouldn't make sense since Killua is way more interesting and fun to take down with added rivals with it.

Hisoka is in love with Gon and in the narrative it's clear that when Gon grows he'll realize his goal to defeat him was actually lust. And before someone calls me some stupid fujoshi for making characters "gay" just know the author is married to the author of sailor moon who put a lesbian couple in they're story AND hxh has multiple lgbtq instances like Alluka being trans and Pitous unknown gender so it's not a stretch with all this evidence to say that Hisoka and Gon are meant to be read as future lovers.
