Battle l

Kakashi POV:

'How did they know, damn but I guess it could have been worse. I can't fight them head on, I will lose, I have to take the fight to the foods. They won't injure Ivy badly but same couldn't be said for me.'

I quickly told Ivy the situation as I checked the right key of her lock and smiled when I found one. Opening her lock, I set free her mana and she took few precious seconds to have her mana under control. At that time I divided my lightning mana on my right and plant mana on my left of body.

"Ivy, just as I say go, tear the tent towards our left, their you would find the guy with axe, but due to you being you, they can't injure you. So you will have his greatest strength restricted. Take the fight to woods, we have greatest experience there alright."

"Hmm"

"You will now hear a pretty bad news but don't let it hinder you, okay. We will discuss about it later."

She made a confused face but nodded.

As we were talking, they had completed the encirclement. Leader was ahead cutting our way to woods, Lore on our south east and axe man on south west.

The man who had gone to check on his mates emerged from the tents with a dreaded look.

"Leader that guy had killed all the other mates. Every one is dead."

As I suspected, that got the attention of all the three along with Ivy.

"Go Ivy, now if not the time for that."

Ivy who had been warned, still had a horrified look on her face but nodded with resolute expression as she teared the tent and jumped towards the axe guy who was looking back and landed a solid punch on his stomach.

On the other hand, I instantly spelled chidori and lunged at Lore. Why Lore because fighting with earth mage on forest is a nightmare, he could easily mold the earth and force me out of hiding and I was not confident that attacking leader would incapacitate him.

Chidori was barely formed when my attack reached him, but he was off guard and my attack pierced his lung, I touched him and moved on to leader who was going to capture Ivy as his scream resounded behind me.

Ivy listened to it but gritted her teeth, teared her eyes but continued her battle.

'Good, every thing would fail if she fell.'

I fired a lightning bolt at leader's left at such an angle that it would target all three in fornt of me, he jumped towards right to dodge.

'Ivy had created a rune to counter my hide and hit tactics, it spreads and contained her mana in a field of 2 meters around her, anything that enter it is detected by her. Quite genius.'

Ivy with the help of field avoided, even axe guy avoided it. But none of them were my targets. I activated the homing characteristics of the spell as it turned around and attacked Lore, who barely avoided it but then got hit in its second attempt.

In the meanwhile I was attacking leader with multitude of lightning bolts randomly but when he dodged it I activated the homing characteristics and had it hit Lore.

Lore was shaking in pain after I had hit him with chidori after that first lightning bolt was to stun him while rest were to injure him as much as possible.

Lore atlast died, but I didn't look least bit happy.

Ivy seeing this opportunity ran into forest and axe man was forced to run behind her to capture her.

I stopped to catch my breath, as this last minute was heavy on my already low reserves. The last bandit had joined the leader but he ordered him to catch the Ivy.

"Why are you trying so hard to help her, it is pointless, ahe would soon be caught and you have no chance against me, even more with your pitiful mana reserves. Tell me how you got to know her location, I would atleast sell you to some better brothel after torturing you."

'Is he trying to scare me, should I go along. No, I have to keep an eye on Ivy's battle, atleast forest is behind me now.'

I had used these few seconds of him giving me speech to switch my lightning mana to most mana and slowly spread the mist.

I buckeled down in coughing fit to keep his attention on me as mist rose.

As it began becoming clear, I pushed another chunk of my mana into it to mass produce it. Our vision instantly clouded up but last I saw he had a expression of horror.

AIR MAGIC: AIR BLAST.

He spelled and a explosion of air happened but I was long gone, I was on a tree, refilling my mana, my efficiency had improved a bit. Nothing satisfactory but I will have to do for now.

I changed my mist magic to fire magic.

'No need to hide information from a dead man, not that I could take him on without going full force'

Using my sharingan, I got that he was gathering mana for another spell so I too spelled.

AIR MAGIC: REVERSE UPHEAVAL

FIRE MAGIC: MAGESTIC FLAME DESTROYER

The wind created was so strong that it managed to uproot trees but that helped the small but wide flame, that I created with a bit of mana to become a fire storm. I immediately left the area to check up on Ivy. On the way I turned fire magic back into construct magic as I leapt on tree and tried to use plant magic spell on the brief contact with trees but nothing happened.

Running towards, to check upon her situation I found Ivy, who was glowing gold was actually on back foot due to water mage and the axe man. Water mage was giving flank support with long range spells as he kept changing positions while axe man engaged her. She was forced to block or dodge the water spears because even if they are not sharp, they do quite a damage.

'She didn't have a defensive spell.'

Oh well, I sneaked upon the mage and looked for the time where he was starting to gather mana for another spell. As his concentration was divided, I managed to sneak upon him and cut his throat with a light grey kunai. He choked on his own blood as I dragged him away from the fight. His corpse could distract Ivy or beasts could came here due to smell of his blood. Unconsciously I had activated my sharingan and this scene was recorded for my whole life.

Throwing the corpse, I came back to the fight. They both had a look of realisation and both of them has grim expression.

'Sorry Ivy.'

I left her and searched for leader, he was rapidly closing on this position.

'He must have thought that, I left him and came here to reinforce Ivy and escape with her.'

I sat down in the path between leader and the ongoing fight behind me, I replenished as much mana I could and absorbed some vitality.

After some time he appeared in front of me. He didn't look injured rather annoyed. But he was alert of me now.

'Damn, now I have to fight him while being this low on mana. He is going to be much more alert than when he was underestimating me. I can't help Ivy now, I will believe that she will win her battle. I just have to kill leader here.'

"How are you able to use lightning, fire and mist magic, what exactly is your attribute?

"And what makes you think I will tell you that. Maybe they are not magic but some artifacts. Figure it out."

"Fine I will take that answer after I am done with you and her."

I leapt on the tree behind me as tree I was standing collapsed and decayed. He narrowed his eyes at that and looked over my right hand which was on the bark of tree and tree was decaying from that point. I smiled at misunderstanding.

"Don't let me touch you or unlike tree, even your ashes would not be left."

He was irked, I think. Well I sent mana into my eyes and sharingan shined. Till now he had shown me two of his spells and I have recorded it's mana flow, using this I can predict which spell he will use. It is not perfect but I need every advantage I could get.

"Hoh, you too have a bloodline, strange I have never heard of such strange eye bloodline but it could explain some abilities of yours. But this is as far as you go."

AIR MAGIC: DREADED SPEARS

I could see outline of magic extend from his arms and shape into three spears. I hurriedly activated my earth spell

EARTH MAGIC: EARTH CONSTRUCT

A wall appeared from ground as the three spears are embedded into it, I moved from behind it into forest.

(A/N: From now, I will write only that spell names with are new or badass or cause some major changes in battleground.)

I activated my fire magic on left side and lightning magic on right side.

FIRE MAGIC: GREAT FIRE BALL

A fire ball made his way to him and blocked his vision, I changed my fire attribute to construct attribute as he dodged threw six light grey kunai at his landing position.

Narrator POV:

Vinz blasted the air in front of him to change the trajectory of kunais, he aimed the spell at where they came from but no one was there, he saw six more kunai fly at him from his left. They were all well aimed to force him to use a defensive spell but he had grown frustrated.

Air Magic: Shredding Wave

A wall of air filled sharp slashed made its way towards kunais distrupted the kunai and made its way towards its castor.

Kakashi could only create a curved earth wall in front of him. He was being pushed back towards Ivy, that forced him to use risky methods. As the air wave passed, he leapt out of the wall and charged towards gathering lightning magic in his whole body.

Vinz created spears out of air and threw them to Kakashi but he dodged them as he could see their trajectory. Vinz seeing that he had dodged spears leapt back due to the fear of decaying technique as Kakashi was closing in on him.

But just as Vinz foot touched the ground, Kakashi stored the lightning in his legs and stomped the ground, lightning from his foot travelled in every direction, charring the ground. A couple of strand impacted Vinz too, who was about 3 meters away as he got stunned and his leg gave out.

Kakashi then used the opportunity to use chidori on him, but wasn't fast enough. He was only able to cut a side of Vinz but it wasn't a small injury.

Vinz barely controlled his voice from screaming as he spelled a distructive spell from point blank range to push Kakashi away.

Air Magic: Air Cannon

A tremendous amount of solid air hit Kakashi as he activated his reinforcement magic.

Reinforcement Magic: Armour

But he was a bit late, he body was stuck by Air Cannon as he was blasted through about 10 meters before crashing into a tree. Due to reinforcement magic he had reduced the damage from hitting the tree but his whole body still ringed from pain and blood found its way into his mouth but the assault wasn't over. He quickly moved his head then his body them forced it to run as he was sure that reinforcement magic won't be able to save him from the slashes Vinz was sending.

Vinz was holding his side as he was gritting his teeth and used another spell seeing this one not working.

Air Magic: Consequetive Slashes

He was losing blood fast, his clothes surrounding the injury were too bloodied. Kakashi was also not well, direct hit from a spell of that caliber has almost broken his body and now under the assault of slashes he could only defend life threatening ones. But mist had already began surrounding him as he made his way deeper into forest to recuperate. He also had very depleted reserves, so less that he couldn't even afford a earth wall to defend himself, this was also a reason was desperate.

He reached a tree and activated the plant magic spell. His body was filled with wounds, he took out emergency bandage he always kept on him and used it in most bleeding injuries.

Whereas Vinz was very viligent of his surroundings. Only after some time when Kakashi didn't appear, he cut down a part of forest to clear the surrounding off hiding places. He then sat down to cauterize his stomach wound, but as it had hit a organ, he was still in much pain, his foot also had burn marks.

'Damn it, I didn't expect such fighting skills from a fucking 11 year old. Not to mention that suicide attack. If only I had been a less stunned, I could have cut him in half.

He also have a wierd arsenal of magic lightning, fire, earth, mist, that mana kunais. And his hiding techniques are deadly, due to his small reserves, it had become even more fearsome.

Well now, he would be critically injured and low on mana, his best choice would have been to help that girl and ambushing Kosen (axe guy). But I can't make my way there with my still numb legs. Damn it maybe Kosen is also having a hard time. I need to make my way over there fast. We can't lose that girl.'

(A/N: Kakashi had low reserves at the start of fight and his plant magic doesn't help much in that aspect. So his fight was more hiding but second round will come, where the playing ground would be more even.)
