When Mo Lingtan heard the doorbell, he immediately stood up and went out of Lee Xuiye's room because Zhang Wei and his driver had just gone, so it was impossible for them to come back in the short span of time then who could it be other than them?

Mo Lingtan closed the door of Lee Xuiye's room and just then he heard the voice of Wang Hong Wei speak up, 'Can we speak for a minute?'

Lee Xuiye's house was small and the soundproofing system was the worse, so even when Mo Lingtan was standing outside the room of Lee Xuiye, he could hear the conversation between Lee Chang-You and Wang Hong Wei clearly.

When he heard Lee Chang-You's voice question, 'What do you want now? Your son is in jail. Go, meet him there'. He immediately turned around and wanted to chase Wang Hong Wei out of this house, however, he stopped when he heard the shocking words from the mouth of Wang Hong Wei 'Fine, then let the world know that Xiao Xuiye is an illegitimate child'.

Immediately, a frowned form on his Mo Lingtan's face and he thought 'Lee Xuiye is an illegitimate child.'

Didn't she say that she didn't have her father?

Mo Lingtan immediately understood why Lee Xuiye didn't tell him about those girls and why she didn't contact him since the last two weeks.

When police were taking Wong Hui away, at that time Mo Lingtan had heard some of the neighbors discussing that Wang Hui was coming here since the past two weeks. So that might have been when Lee Xuiye learned the truth about Wang Hui and that was why she tried to maintain a distance from Mo Lingtan.

Mo Lingtan didn't go towards Lee Chang-You. Instead, he just stood near the living room and quietly heard the conversation between Wong Hong Wei and Lee Chang-You.

When Lee Chang-You chased Wang Hong Wei out of her house and turned back to return to but she halted her step when she saw the person in front of her…

Mo Lingtan…

Lee Chang-You panicked. If Mo Lingtan would tell anyone then it would be a problem for Lee Xuiye.

Lee Chang-You immediately tried to explain to him, "Lingtan, Lee….".

However, he cut her words off in between, "Don't worry Aunty, I will never tell anyone about it".

Mo Lingtan turned back and went back inside Lee Xuiye's room without any further words as he came to the age where now he understood the dark part of the society.

After Lee Chang-You called Zhang Wei and told him to take her charges against Wang Hui back. 

Zhang Wei was already expecting this from Lee Chang-You, so he didn't say anything and left from the police station after taking the charges back.

Mo Lingtan's driver was waiting for Zhang Wei outside the police station, so he didn't know that the charges were taken back and police released Wang Hui.

Afterward, Mo Lingtan left with his driver.

Next Morning…

Lee Xuiye's fever had subsided and her face had regained some of its rosy back now. Lee Xuiye told her mother about the incident that had happened in the school with Chi Rui'er and her friends and she also told her that it might be her last day in the school, as management of the school would expel her.

Lee Chang-You hugged Lee Xuiye and tears were falling from her eyes, "Xuiye, sorry…I am sorry…Mommy didn't take care of you properly…I am sorry."

Nevertheless, Lee Xuiye never blamed Lee Chang-You for anything. For her, Lee Chang-You was the best mother in this world.

Afterward, Lee Chang-You told Lee Xuiye that Mo Lingtan knew about her father, Wang Hui. So the mother-daughter pair decided that it would be for the best that Lee Xuiye left Capital Imperial School on her own. After all, she thought that she wouldn't be able to face Mo Lingtan from now on after learning the truth about herself.

Everyone in the school knew that Lee Xuiye had beaten up Chi Rui'er and her friends. Most of the students were happy since no one liked those arrogant girls. However, it didn't mean that they started liking Lee Xuiye or middle-class students, for that matter.

For them, middle-class students were like gutter worms of a waste pipe [1]. Even though they might be talented, that aspect didn't matter to the high-class students. So if Lee Xuiye would be expelled from the school, they would think that the dirt from their school decreased to some extent.

As expected, the Principal of the school called Lee Xuiye to his office.

When Lee Xuiye reached the Principal's office, Chi Rui'er's father and other management were already present there.

Lee Xuiye was standing in the center of the room while the management sat behind the desk on their respective chairs.

"Lee Xuiye, there is an allegation against you that yesterday, you have beaten up Chi Rui'er and other girls. Do you want to say anything against this allegation?" The Principal asked in a stern voice as the decision was already taken against her, there was the only formatting.

"No, I don't want to give any explanation," Lee Xuiye said. Her eyes didn't show any guilt for what she had done and sadness for getting expelled from the school.

"You mean you are accepting this allegation," The Principle confirmed.

"Yes"

"Do you know that you will be expelled from this school?"

"Yes"

"Still, you really don't want to say anything?"

"No"

The principal sighed as it was good that this girl hadn't wasted his time and accepted her fault readily. The principal discussed something with other management quietly.

After a while, the Principal finally announced his decision, "Fine. Since you are accepting this allegation, therefore, you are expelled from this school for causing violence in the school."
