"Papa… Papa… Wake Up"

Huh? What happened?

I raised my hand and rubbed my head. Somehow I hear the voice of a little girl searching for her papa. After scratching my head, my hand caught something or rather someone. As I sit down, I look around.

Where am I?

The last thing I remember is a doctor saying that I will die from a blood loss after getting crushed by a truck that comes out of nowhere.

I can still remember that I walk toward my local w*lmart to buy some milk, and unlike my father, I successfully buy the milk.

However, when I almost arrived in my apartment, a bright light appeared in front of me, and darkness took over me. Man, I didn't even hear anything, I thought it was an attack of enemy S*and.

As I open my eyes, I look at the person in front of me. It was a little girl wearing a yellow sundress. She has beautiful emerald eyes and stunning silver hair. Her age is around four to five years.

Before I could ask her who she was, I suddenly got a headache.

After what seemed like a minute, I began to understand my situation. Look like I somehow get transported to another world by a random omnipotent being.

The body I currently use is the body of a man named Tian Li. He is a young master of a well-known family on the eastern continent. Just like other young masters of a well-known clan in the eastern continent, Tian Li has a fiance that he married later on. After marrying his fiance, Tian Li moved to the territory his father gave him to control. A year later, his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. He named her Tian Mei.

For four and a half years, Tian Li governed his land with care. Not only that, but he also takes care of his daughter with care as his wife is too busy cultivating in the isolation cave and never meets her daughter after the baby is born.

While confused, Tian Li can put up a fight against the odds while protecting his daughter. He fought for more than an hour before his wife's Isolation cave opened up, he thought that he would get back up and answer, but to his surprise, his wife attacked him instead of helping him.

Tian Li asked her the reason why she and her family attacked him. That is the day Tian Li felt his heartbreak as it turned out to be that her family only used him as a stepping stone to using for gaining more power. With the resources of the Tian family, his wife begins to smuggle out a precious herb and pill to her family because of that, her family begins to rise in power.

Without any choices, Tian Li uses his life-saving talisman his father gave him. This item let him teleport to the safe house on the other continent.

For a half year, Tian Li stayed in the northern continent to recover from his injury and build back his strength. When he is hiding, Tian Li keeps communicating with his family. Because of this, he knew that his father knew about the plot his former wife built, so his father began a campaign against Tian Li's former wife's family. However, this resulted in a civil war between the Tian family and its vassals.

The war is so great it involves many big sects. Apparently, his former wife's family has an alliance with the other prominent sect around the empire.

His father and mother suggest Tian Li stay in the northern continent to avoid the danger that comes from the war. They are afraid that Mei will be killed by the assassin sent by his former wife.

Of course, Tian Li agreed with his parents as he was also worried about his daughter's health and life.

However, what Tian Li never predicted is that his former wife put poison inside his body with him knowing. The poison itself did not act immediately.

That is how Tian Li died in his bed before I took over his body. Even on his deathbed Tian Li kept worrying about his daughter.

"Papa?"

I snap from my thoughts and look at 'my' daughter and smile at her.

"What is it, Mei?"

"Mei hungry, can we eat?"

"Of course. Let me cook something for us to eat, okay?"

After I finish eating, I immediately do the dishes while Mei decides to play in the backyard. In the past, Tian Li wanted to teach his daughter a cultivation technique immediately, but it would kill her if he were forced to do it. Someone can only cultivate when they are at least six years old and no less. If they decide to force their children to cultivate, then that said children would die from Spiritual Energy poisoning. The reason is that their Spiritual core is not yet forming. A child will develop their core at six for the youngest and ten for the oldest.

Cultivation in the world has Nine stages. The first stage is called the Foundation Stage. This is the stage where a cultivator builds its foundation. This is usually the time where people focus on increasing their Spiritual Energy reserve as much as they can.

The next stage is the Condensation Stage. This is the reason why many cultivators build their reserve in the previous stage. In this stage, the cultivator Spiritual Core will try to convert as much as Spiritual Energy inside their body into a liquid state.

The next stage is the last stage of the beginner phase, the Crystallization Stage. If you successfully break through this stage, then you already considered a small fish in a big pond. This is the stage where the cultivator needs to solidify their Spiritual Energy. This stage is also the stage where the cultivator will feel a change in their body. The solid Spiritual Energy inside their body will purify the cultivator body, making it more beautiful/handsome and increase their durability to the extreme. If a cultivator manages to reach this level, they will get a massive boost to all their attacks. Some small towns in the world have this stage cultivator as a genius even though this stage is the beginning of their journey in the cultivation.

The next stage is split between two factions.

The first one is the Battle Master, and the other is Mage.

In this stage, the Spiritual Energy inside the cultivator body can be split into two. The first one is Qi, while the other is Mana. The difference between the two energies is their use in the fight. Battle Master is the people that manipulate their Qi inside their bodies to enchant their bodies. They also can use this Qi as a projectile.

On the other hand, Mage coats their body with mana to enchant their body. They also can manipulate the mana around them to cast a spell. Countless people debate about who is more powerful but never get the answer. If both cultivators with the same stage and power but a different branch put together inside a room and then ordered to fight, the Battle Master will win. However, if the place is an open field and they need a day to prepare then, the Mage will succeed as they can use their time to create a trap, and with the place being an open field, they can cast their spell before the battle master can reach them.

The next stage is Spiritual Master or Elementalist.

This is the stage where the cultivator manipulates nature to their will. This is where both factions can control some of the five elements. Woods, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The Spiritual Master can manipulate Woods and Metal to their will while the Elementalist can use Fire, Earth, and Water. In this stage, the cultivator will choose their specialty. Spiritual Master can become either a Beast Tamer or Weapon Master. Beast Tamer is a Spiritual Master specialization that lets them tame a beast to be their companion. The tamed beast will become their companion for the rest of their life. As for Weapon Master, they can release their weapon intent to attack or intimidate an enemy.

On the other hand, the Elementalist will choose which element they need to learn at this stage to select their main element. In this stage, rarely is a cultivator able to wield more than one element. However, when there is someone that wields more than one element in this stage, then that said person will not have much firepower than the one that specializes in one element. Elementalist that reach this level are called Master Elementalist.

This stage is considered the last class of the Intermediate phase. This stage is called The Lord Stage. In this stage, the cultivator will form another Spiritual Core inside their body. This core is used for gathering a Celestial Energy from the heavens. This Celestial Energy is a hundred times more potent than Spiritual Energy. That is the reason why this stage is totally different from the previous stage. Even if the Cultivator only reached this stage yesterday, he or she can beat ten Beast Master/Weapon Master or the Master Elementalist with ease.

Now into the next stage. This stage is called the King Stage. This is almost the same process as the Condensation stage. The Cultivator needs to change its Celestial energy inside its second core into a liquid stage. A spiritual cultivator will be called Spiritual King, and for a mage, they will be called an Arch Mage.

The next one is called the Emperor Stage. This is the phase where Cultivators need to Crystallize their Celestial Energy. In this stage, the Cultivator will gain a second skin in the form of a force field around their body. Not only their body but also their mind and souls. This secondary skin is what makes them invincible in this world. Not only increasing their durability, but this secondary skin also boosts their strength to unimaginable levels. The Cultivator that successfully cultivated into this stage will be called the Spiritual Emperor or Magic Emperor.

There is another Stage called the Saint Stage, but there is no known person alive in this world that can reach that stage. There is one person written in the book of history that was able to get that stage, but many people thought it as a myth as it happened a billion years ago.

Each Stage is separated into three phases. The first one is called an Early-phase, the next one is the Middle Phase, and the last one is the Peak phase. In the early phase, a cultivator needs to spread its energy across all Eight Extraordinary Meridians. The Middle step is the phase where cultivators need to apply the energy across Twelve Principal Meridians. The last step needs them to spread the energy to the rest of the body.

"Papa! Papa!"

I snap from my thoughts when I hear Mei running toward me while holding something.

"Mei... What do I say about running in the house?"

"Not to?"

"Yup, do not run around our house, I don't want you to trip down and injured yourself."

"Sorry"

"It's okay. Now, what can I do for you?"

"Oh! Papa! Look! I found this!"

I look at Mei's hand and see a white bunny looking around the house with its red eyes. This is the Hornet Rabbit. A relatively low-level beast that is roaming the world. A hornet rabbit is usually bred by a farmer to harvest their beast core—a beast core used on weapon creation or something as mundane as becoming fuel to a lamp.

That is the reason why many farmers decide to breed this beast. Not only is it considered the weakest of all creatures that even a farmer without cultivation can kill it, but it also has a core that is good enough to fuel a lamp for at least a week without turning it off.

"A hornet rabbit. What do you want to do with it?"

"Emmm… Can Mei have this as a pet?"

I smile a little at her before saying.

"Of course, but remember that taking care of a pet is not an easy job."

"En! Mei will take care of Little White!"

I ruffle her hair a little. I then see Mei put down Little White on the ground before picking up a carrot from the cooling box and feeding it with the carrot.

"Mei, I want to go to Market. Do you want to come with me?"
