"Is that all you will pack?" Jen asked as she looked at Lucas' suitcase.

"Mmh," Lucas answered as he put another jacket in his luggage.

"I thought you would carry more," Jen said as she arranged her clothes in her suitcase.

"It's not like we are going to a remote island. If I need anything, I'll just buy it," Lucas said as he closed his luggage and set it aside.

"Mmh," Jen vaguely replied.

"I asked David to take us to the airport tomorrow, he will pick Michael up first before he comes for us," Lucas said as he closed his suitcase. Jen watched him with a blank expression on her face while looking at him.

She had become lost in thought as she stared at him. Over the last week, there were times he would come home past midnight because he was busy with work, so they had barely spent time with each other.
