Rachel had been nervously sitting on the sofa in her living room waiting for a response to her message when the doorbell rang. She blankly stared up in surprise because she was not expecting anyone since Laura had told her that she had to attend an event for work and Brian had an emergency project that he couldn't tell her about that he left for a few days ago, so she was not expecting anyone.
