Guild 2 | Specifics

"Good morning you two, how may I help you." – Eina asked, trying to calm herself down.

"Good morning…" – I paused having no idea of the receptionist's name.

I can see no ID.

"I am Eina Tulle, but you two may call me Eina." – Eina follows up my words.

I nodded.

"Ok, good morning miss Eina, I am Kai D'arc Valentine and this lovely lady here is Tessa Evergreen, we would like to register ourselves us adventurers."

Tessa waves her hand smiling at Eina.

'He didn't just have good looks, he is also polite.'

Eina thought, her cheeks turning a bit red.

"So, you two want to become adventurers?" – She asked again to confirm their words.

We both nodded.

"Then please follow me in a private meeting room as we discuss things about adventurers." – Eina said leading the way, guiding Kai and Tessa to a room at the back as another guild employee took her place on the counter.

"Once again I am Eina Tulle, you said you two want to become adventurers."

We both nodded in response.

"Do you have a Familia or are you two once affiliated to a Familia before?"

We shook our heads in unison.

"We two are still Falna less, we just arrived in the city this week." – I replied.

'I thought they've already joined a Familia because of the demeanor they have, it might just be my imagination.'

Eina nodded, done with her thoughts.

"Give me a moment."

Eina said, she then stood up and left the private room.

"Sir Kai, she's kind." – Tessa said look at the door where Eina just exit.

"Didn't I told you to stop with the formalities and just call me Kai." – I said.

Tessa just nodded meekly.

"K-Kai…" – She muttered in a mosquito-like tone.

I was satisfied.

"Miss Eina certainly is kind." – I said.

"How can you be certain?" – Tessa asked with a raise eyebrows.

'Is she trying to imitate the girls in the pub.' – I thought seeing Tessa's uncharacteristic behavior.

"You just said it yourself…" – I replied.

"No, I mean she look kind but we don't know." – She quickly replied.

"Have you forgotten the power of my eyes already?" – I said pointing at my golden eyes that seemed to be able to see everything.

"Ah, right I forgot." – Tessa gasped for a second before nodding profusely.

Tessa and I only had to wait a minute before miss Eina returned and in her hand was a big book.

Putting the book down even though she did not slam it the table still shook.

"In this book is the list of Familia's open in receiving new members." – Eina said.

"Do you two have any specifics when it comes to Familia you wish to become a part to." – She asked.

"We would like to join a small Familia or a new one with less than five members is good, and the Familia god and children must be trusted."

'A small Familia or a new Familia that can be trusted.'

Eina thought for a second before a image of a white hair, red eyed weak boy surface on Eina's mind.

'They look decent for a Falna less people, they must have experience combat in the outside.'

Eina let out a sigh.

"There's a Familia I knew that fit your criteria, but…" – She paused.

Eina then began to explain the circumstances of the Hestia Familia, Kai and Tessa listen intently as this Familia might become their home.

"So, a newly descended goddess and a newbie adventurer without a single ounce of experience."

"I don't really mind if you want us to look after this newbie adventurer, so long both this goddess and adventurer can be trusted." – I said.

Eina's eyes widened hearing my words.

'He's very sharp.' – Eina thought looking at Kai.

Her impression towards him had just risen considerably.

"So when are we going to meet this goddess you said." – I asked.

"The two of you are just right in time, I become Bell's advisor yesterday, goddess Hestia and Bell should be showing up in at any moment right now." – Eina replied.

"The goddess name is Hestia, she's a goddess embodying Family, Fire and Architecture right." – I subconsciously blurted out recalling what I've remember in my past life.

'Hestia, should be Zeus's mother in another story, she's the guardian goddess of the origin flame, the first flame ever lit.' - I thought again.

Eina looked at me as if she discovered a hidden treasure.

"Sir Kai do you also like reading books." – She asked.

"Yep, I read all kinds of books, from literature, studies, and fiction. I've read anything that interest me."

"I also do studies on my own."

Kai replied.

/But that's a story for another./

"T-then…"

Eina was about to say something but when she suddenly remembered her purpose for bringing the two of us here.

'I lost my composure there.' – She thought.

Back to the main topic.

"Bell can be trusted, the problem is, he's just a bit too kind for his own good." – Eina said.

Being kind is good though and certainly is attractive but for an adventurer, people who risk their lives such kindness would just drag them down in the long run.

There are just people who are blinded on what's in front of them, and this saying didn't just applied on evil but the same can be said to righteousness.

Kindness is a part of righteousness.

But too much kindness is considered evil.

The more righteous a person was during his heyday the harder it is when they fall from grace.

She did not want Bell to experience a situation where his own kindness will drag him down and as he chose the path of an adventurer such situations would surely come one of these days.

She didn't really want Bell to change but something must be done for his own good and the people around him at least even for a bit she wanted him to open his eyes a bit wider and stop being a narrow minded person.

This is what Eina thought.

/In this story I gave Eina Tulle the power that allows her to vaguely tell a person's true nature. She didn't have Falna so she didn't knew the specifics of this power's of hers./

/This is the reason even though she just met Bell yesterday it was as if she knew him for a long time./

/(A/N) have you guys watch Danmachi season 4 part 2.

I was pretty pissed about Bell who kept on stopping Ryuu from killing Jura.

There was also that time where he kept asking Jura why Jura would want to summon a Juggernaut.

Bruh…

Our rabbit boy's brain is too tiny and narrow.

He needed someone to spoon-fed answers in his brain.

The moment Ryuu said she's going to cut him down if he kept on blocking her path.

Bell's reaction made my day.

I couldn't help myself and I screamed at my sister's face who's watching the episode together with me.

A bit of my saliva accidentally entered her mouth and in retaliation she gave me a hard kick straight on my gut putting me out of commission for about 2 minutes before we continued on watching the anime./
