2 2 Start From the First Day

When was it actually begins?

Camellia struggled to recall the moment her best friend set her up for this fraud marriage. There were so many opening to suggest that this is going to happen but Camellia never seemed to realise all those signs. All she did was being happy for her best friend. Carol finally getting married to a wealthy and even good looking man. As she wishes not long ago. Even the man himself was not like dropped from the sky but Camellia's own blind date candidate that was set by her family for her to settle down but the truth is they just want to get rid of her from that mansion. Their only make-believe reason is that the company need Kang's family business to invest in the future mega projects they had in mind. But, truth be told that her own cousins were never forced into such marriage. Why should she be any different from them then? Now, whatever the reasons are now has nothing to do with Camellia as she already moved out of the mansion six months ago.

The freedom of being herself and working with something she likes is like a blessing from her constant prayers. Camellia has been working with the WeddingBliss.com since a year ago. From the start, she never wants to join the family's company. As the second major shareholders of the company, she should be working at the company but she doesn't have any desire to work with those hateful people that they called themselves relatives. Without her at the company, her only hope was they shouldn't bother her then.

Three months. It was three months ago, Carol came to see her with Kang Man Suk who is her fiancee at the time. If Carol never called her and walked into their blind dates at that time, she might not be meeting Kang Man Suk. Carol said it was a love of the first sight. Days afterwards, Carol kept going on with her non-stop dreamy stories about Kang Man Suk in a week that Camellia laughed at her quip. But when Carol has urged her to set a new date to meet him again, she doesn't dare to laugh any longer. Not so soon after that they finally decided to get married after just met six months. She was amazed at their fast progression that she was speechless staring at her best friend.

"You are kidding, right?" Camellia pulled Carol out of the consultation room. She was worried with Carol rushed the decision to get married.

"What do you mean? You should be happy for me," Carol soft and childish snort of distaste remind Camellia how Carol still not matured enough to get married so soon. Carol folded her arms sulkily away. "Even when I am pregnant?"

"It's not like that. I am just being worried for you," Camellia trying hard to calm her down. "What? You... " Carol nodded at her happily. "Oh, I am so happy for you, Carol!" Their excitement laughter reached out to the other staff and customers. "Are you really sure with this man?"

"Song Cha Mii!" Carol irritation shot up loud and followed by another laughter.

"Alright, I will definitely help you with the wedding gown. I will make sure your wedding be the best and coolest ever. You should meet our gown designer!" Camellia overreacted with the happy news that she never had guessed her best friend set her up for the fraud marriage. Along the few weeks after that first meeting, Carol came to the office to help out with the preparation. At the same time, strangely enough, Carol went on talking about another man other than Kang Man Suk. Which had her worried that Carol might have another feeling towards Kang Man Suk's cousin! Camellia was only able to listen to her stories about the man that she never met before.

Two weeks before the nuptial ceremony, Carol came to see her for the fitting of the wedding gown but Carol only stares at it longingly then asked Camellia to try it on behalf of her. At that moment, Erika did had his concerns and he warned Camellia about his bad feeling but she shrugged it off and went on trying the gown herself.

The background music finally stopped. Camellia daydreaming ended and she realised that she was only a few steps away from the groom. The groom turned around to receive her. He was tall, alright. Three inches from her. Camellia staring through his dark eyes. No warmth. No familiarity. No happy smile. Only coldness, distaste and harshness lingers in his eyes before he broke the eye contact with her and lifted out his hand towards her. Camellia was stunned into realisation. "No. Not like this."

"What are you trying to do?" a half murmuring yet strong tone surprised her while his quick grabbed hold of her arms from moving away. Camellia took another hint that he is not even a Korean guy!

"I am not into this kind of marriage!" Camellia muttered under her breath. Through her view of vision, she saw Wan Chu already descended to the nearly empty seating on the front spew left section of the church. Wan Chu looking at her with sorrows give away a pleading her not to bolt off from the fraud marriage frustrating her. On the right section, several unfamiliar onlookers. Calm down, Cammy. Camellia closed her eyes in irritation trying to persuade herself to continue with the sham. She turned around to face the altar once again.

But clearly, the man beside her doesn't trust her after her last attempt to flee from the altar as he is still gripping her hand tightly. Only when after the exchanged of the vow did he slowly loosen his grips and the commentator of the wedding Mass making fun of his silliness of not able to be apart as a man in love with his wife. It makes the church merrier with laughter from the spectators. The man shyly released her hand and reached for the wedding bands. Camellia felt her heart pumping hard at the sight. It nearly had her believed that this man is her beloved and her destiny. Was she wrong? With trembling hand, they exchanged their rings while staring at each other eyes. Those stares of sincerity belong to that man. Can she take it as his devotion? Will she be able to love him as if god bestow her this man to be her husband?
