75 LXXV. The Corrupted.

Screeches and yowls rumbled roared through the egg sac-infested tunnel that separated the Giant Spiders' lair from the caves that led to the basement of the  Land Residence.

Dozens of furry black legs accompanied by glowing red eyes above them crawled through every angle, destroying spider webs and smashing egg sacs in their way towards Vanilla and her friends. A green liquid spilled through their fangs.

"Those are spiders!" Lancelot cried. "But hey, they look different."

Besides their totally black complexion, compared to the brown and orange undertone of the other Giant Spiders, the incoming arachnids had luminous red eyes, glowing strong as blood and fire, and their size was just half the one of the regular Giant Spider.
