Meeting (1)

"I am happy to welcome you to SW Entertainment, Miss Hong Mina." Jeho's mouth curled upwards as he could not contain his excitement. "I am happy to be the owner who will please you at all times. You can look forward to more exciting events in the future."

"Whatever," Mina muttered to herself as she walked towards the exit of the room.

"Look forward to the things that we do in this strange relationship,"

Immediately shut the door with a loud bang, Mina tried to save her face by acting aloof and unbothered. But her brain was mentally drained from the situations that arose earlier while meeting Jeho sunbae.

Mina could not imagine the reason why she let herself be in that situation at all. But for some reason, she knew it herself that she was enjoying it.

That's a fact.

Was it because Jeho looked decent and neat that he allowed him to do just that? She did not even know she was that type of person who engages with men for personal satisfaction.

One thing is for sure, she was curious about him.

When they were in college, she was amazed how Jeho was that passionate about directing. Mina always liked men who are passionate and well-driven about something they love because she was the same. Interested in acting ever since she was a kid, she still ran towards the never-ending path of acting.

Appearance, personality, and keeping yourself motivated were what she always wore on her sleeve. She thought it was essential to have those qualities enhanced as an actress and as a public figure.

She still has to keep her temper in check as Mina has always been short-tempered, especially if she lacks sleep.

Mina walked from the SW Entertainment and looked for a good restaurant that sells delicious spicy rice cakes. When she finally found one using an application on her phone, she used the GPS and found the restaurant that sells delicious-looking spicy rice cakes.

"Good noon," The male part-timer greeted Mina and smiled; he was almost at the same height as her. Everything about the part-timer's facial features was average. Mina already had a habit of comparing people's overall physique to know if one qualifies as an actor or actress. "Are you alone?"

"Yes, I am?" Mina answered while smiling back. Looking around her and saw no one, she confirmed. "Yes, I am alone."

Does it even look like she was not alone?

There weren't even customers that were right behind her, so why would he even ask an obvious question?

Then, it dawned on her.

"Customer-nim," The male part-timer bowed down slightly, apologizing at Mina. "I am sorry, but we only accept customers who are two or more people, so that space is going to be well used."

Mina's hunch was right.

There really are restaurants in Korea refusing solo customers to provide a portable burner for cooking. As most dishes are usually shared, it has always been great to eat with a company rather than alone.

But these rules are not friendly for solo people.

Taking a deep sigh, Mina turned her back from the cashier when she bumped onto a chest as firm as a rock. Her eyes traveled from his chest to his eyes, and it was definitely a familiar-looking man.

As Mina looked up, she almost realized who it was. It was already at the tip of her tongue, but nothing would come out. The man had a two-block haircut, thick eyebrows that suited his manly face. His eyes were brightly smiling at Mina cheerfully, wearing a casual spring outfit. A grey-colored long-sleeved sweater and jogger jeans.

He was looking straightforward and fashionable at the same time.

"Mina-sunbae?" The familiar-looking man called out Mina's name as he ran his fingers through his black hair. "It's me."

Mina had so many hoobae acquaintances during her time at Chung-Ang University that she would not even remember all of their faces and names simultaneously.

"Hi!" Cheerfully greeting the man, Mina racked her brain for clues and any hints that might help her remember. She stared at the man's face intently, then she realized who it was. "Jiwon! It's been a long time since we last met!"

"I was about to get sad, sunbae." Jiwon extended his arms and hugged Mina. She smelled a great aroma of coffee in his sweater. Mina always liked the scent of coffee. "I thought you did not recognize me at all."

"I almost did not recognize you, Jiwon." Mina laughed as she carefully hugged Jiwon back. "Your hair from when we were in college was yellow and almost blonde. Now, it's perfectly black."

"I know," Jiwon chuckled, putting his hand behind his neck. "I actually landed a high school student role that will start filming this month."

"Really? That's great!" Mina enthusiastically replied. "Your black hair suited you very well."

"Thanks, sunbae." Jiwon shyly answered. "Were you supposed to have your lunch here?"

"Yes,"

"I have an acquaintance but is still not here. Would you mind us joining you for lunch today?" Jiwon smiled while scratching the back of his head using his right hand. "Sunbae?"

"Yes, of course." Mina took a step forward and leaned in for a whisper. "I was about to get kicked out because I was alone, you know?"

"Eyy," Jiwon reacted as he guided Mina to a table in the middle.

Both of them sat opposite each other; both were silent for a while, exchanging nervous glances with each other.

Mina decided to break the silence by speaking first, "I hope I am not third-wheeling with you and your girlfriend's lunch date, Jiwon."

"No, no!" Jiwon raised both of his hands and waved them fast, "I am not dating anyone, Mina-sunbae."

"I see," Mina shortly replied, and it was awkward again.

The male part-timer went over to the table and asked them about what they would like to order. Both of them answered the spicy rice cakes with a ramen set and three student lunch boxes for them to eat.

When the part-timer got their order, Jiwon did not hesitate to ask what was on his mind. "Sunbae, are you single?"
