3 chapter three: shopping

Monica's POV

he had sent his driver to pick me up,can you believe him...he didn't call,didn't ask....as a reminder that he was the boss of me,that he owned Me,he wanted to make me remember who is in charge...the driver just drove to my house and asked if I was ready,I was too embarrassed to tell him I hadn't been told earlier,I wore a sweater and black jeans,letting down my long red hair and followed him

he drove to a huge mall,he wanted to meet at the mall?.....but when I entered no one was inside and I was kinda scared,what the heck is going on....suddenly a beautiful woman with green eyes and brown hair ran towards me and pulled me in a hug

"you are even prettier in person" she shouted

she was wearing a nice gown,it was nude in color and it complemented her beautiful creamy complexion

"err....should I Know you?" I asked awkwardly

she roared in laughter

"oh God,this is priceless...I run around hiding from paparazzi and cameras and I am recognized by everyone yet my daughter-in-law doesn't recognize me"she wasn't rude,she genuinely found the situation funny

At the sound of daughter in law my head shot up though and I knew who she was,Mrs Kim,I had to remember my deal with the demon,we were really getting married and making his parents happy for six months,I could almost see his cold face sneering at me and daring me to mess this up

"hi" I said weakly

"you are so beautiful Monica,Gary told me that immediately he saw you as a little girl the first thing he thought of was that you must be his daughter in law....I can't believe our little dream is coming true....see your complexion,am almost jealous"

I almost felt bad

"look at your eyelashes,how can you be so pretty,Gary definitely got the better end of this deal"she giggled then covered her mouth quickly "am so sorry about your father....he was a good man"she said sadly

"Thanks you ma'am"

"nonsense!!...I would not have you Calling me ma'am,you are going to be my daughter soon,call me mum,ive always wanted a daughter,having only two sons becomes boring you know....being the only female in the house....oh dear,am so talkative,aren't I" she giggled again

"not really...I think I enjoy listening to you"I smiled

"oh my,am blushing"she smiled and hung her hands with mine pulling to a seat

"the mall is closed?"

"oh yeah,I had it closed....we are shopping for your wedding cloth after all"

she closed it?!.....the mall was so big and they closed it for her,my father was rich too but ive never gotten a mall closed for me,compared to this people I was starting to feel average

"what do you want for your wedding,sweetheart,how huge do you want it to be,how many people,how many layers of cake,I suggest fifteen,what theme color do you want?"

how about black,I was tempted to say but mrs Kim has been so nice to me

"maybe you should chose ma"

"come on don't call me ma,I sound old"she wailed"call me mum"

"okay mum,for the wedding,surprise me"

her eyes grew large

"really?" she all but screamed as she held my hands and laced our fingers together,she was really excited

"yeah"

"what of your mother?...is she fine with that?"

"yes,she is...am sure she will be,I mean I haven't asked her...but she will be fine"

"I won't mind doing it with her,we will be family soon,we should bond "

yeah,until six months later

"of course Ma-i mean mum"I smiled

"seriously though,you are too pretty I can't wait for your wedding with Liam,you guys would look perfect together"

I couldn't answer her so i just downed my drink and smiled

just six months,I repeated to myself...whats the worst that could happen

"okay then,let's try on the wedding gowns"she shouted ,I could see this was what she has been waiting for,I stood up and smiled another weak pathetic smile like I was at a funeral

"yeah,let's do that"I replied

we were already ushered to the wedding gowns section by a worker

the first one I noticed was not bad,it was short and cute I was about to go for it and call the wedding gowns search over when I saw it....it was a beautiful wedding gown,it was long Like a ball room gown,it was laced around with beautiful designs,it was so very very lovely

"you like it?"Mrs kim asked "try it on"she pleaded

"no,I don't like it"I lied...if I ever really fall in love,I want to wear that gown,I told myself

we tried on so many gowns,I was happy with wearing any,I didn't care of this wedding anyway,finally after hours we settled for one and we went to seat

"I know you aren't happy"Mrs Kim said seriously

I opened my mouth to lie

"its alright dear,I get it I really do.....but I promise you that Liam is an amazing person,just give him a chance in your heart"

amazing person my ass,a chance with my heart,so that he can rip it to pieces,yeah right

"he became cold due to some.....accidents" she pursed her lips" but I promise you he is amazing,and you would fall in love with him"

"I'll try"I lied

we finished our shopping and we walked to the parking lot where our respective drivers were waiting,she walked me to my car first

"you absolutely have to come to dinner"she said

"okay,mum"

and with that my day ended,I went back home hoping to catch some sleep when he called me,but it wasn't the demon this time,it was much worse,because it was Edward,my first love....the guy who broke my heart
