Most people would have the mind to be running away from a volcanic blast, rather than toward. But Sikong Ren had at least some confidence in his abilities and powers even against such an unstoppable force. 

Strangely, he thought, that he had fought against the very forces of mother nature before. Was it perhaps part of some side quest? Or a heavenly tribulation that haunted his dreams. Whatever it was, it didn't matter. He was on a mission.

The volcano had yet to blow but he knew from the tremors beneath his soles that it was soon. After leaving a communication talisman with Chu Changying they parted ways. There was little choice but to move alone.

They needed to cover as much ground as possible. And fast. 

Luckily, he had a bit of an advantage in regards to locating the Immortal of a Thousand Blossoms.
