14 Vol 1 : The Man Is ... ⭐

Faye was in shock, "Who are you?" she asked back.

There's no way this guy's a thief? Thieves in the morning?

Wait.

This man looks familiar in Faye's eyes. Have they ever met?

"Look, even though you're amazingly beautiful to be able to steal my heart at any time, I'm not afraid to fight a thief like you," said the man fearlessly took a broom behind the door as a defense.

What?

That guy wants to hit Faye? No matter if she's a woman? And accuse her of being a thief? As if to own this apartment, a second later Faye remembers who was in front of her, "You're Henry?"

The man raised next to his eyebrow, "You know my name?"

"Of course I'm know, I'm Denis's guest," Faye said she was grateful in her heart Henry was not a thief.

Henry put the broom back, "Denis? Don't tell me you're her Sugar Mama?" he asked, but before Faye replied, he screams, "Yo, Denis! We agreed not to take the woman to the apartment! What are you doing!?"

"He's gone," Faye said.

Henry goes back to where Faye was, "Really? Where's he going?"

"Bought us both breakfast," Faye replied innocently.

Henry's eyes widened, "Using his own money?"

Faye thought for a moment, remembering not giving Denis money since yesterday so she nodded.

"Who are you? His girlfriend?" Henry asks curiously, "since we went to college together, he's never bought me at all! It's a miracle he wants to buy you food."

Faye scratches her arm nervous, "I'am ... uh ... his wife."

Henry froze where he stood, staring at Faye in shock in disbelief at the woman's confession.

Faye waved in front of Henry's face, "Are you okay?"

Henry still looks at Faye strangely, "I'm dreaming? Denis has a wife? I seemed to drink too much last night."

From Henry's words, Faye can make sure Denis gives recognition as an uncommitted man, so when Henry finds out Faye as Denis's wife is so confusing.

The wife contracts exactly.

Faye found it strange that Denis didn't tell Henry about their status, which could be the question of the move.

Hearing Henry still say about her marriage makes Faye pinch his chubby cheek.

"Aww ... What are you doing?" asked Henry while holding his freshly pinched cheek.

"Make sure you don't dream," Faye replied casually.

"But how can it be? I understand you're Denis type, but married? That's a rare thing!"

Faye pats her forehead, tired of hearing Henry's words that are among the types of men who don't believe if not the person directly speaking, so it's better to wait for Denis to come back.

The problem is how long does Faye have to wait? Henry's voice makes her head dizzy.

Early in the morning instead of opening with fun, but a man's complaint.

Faye covers her ears with a sofa cushion, no concern for Henry who still says.

Cklek.

Blam.

Like water in the middle of the sahara desert, Denis returned with a white plastic bag in his hand.

"Honey~ sorry to wait so long—" Denis says cut off when his eyes meet Henry's eyes.

Faye covers her ears preparing for scenes in the dramas.

"Henry?" said Denis.

"Honey?" said Henry as if he couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"Honey!?" Denis repeats with disgust.

This is what Faye meant.

"So it's real you have a wife? That's why you moved, right? Not because your Sugar Mama is obsessed with you?" Henry asked confused.

"What!?" Faye doesn't believe Denis used such cheap excuses. She? Chasing Denis? Isn't it the opposite? Now she's really angry, "tell him or you regret this for the rest of your life."

Denis swallows his saliva afraid of getting Faye's anger.

"We're waiting," Faye says sharply.

Denis coughed, "I really want to keep our marriage a secret from Henry. As you know Faye, I'm a man who doesn't like to commit so was forced to lie to Henry because I knew he was going to taunt me about this."

"Really Denis? You rate me so low? I'm disappointed in you," Henry said, "I admit I might be joking about you getting married, but I'm happier that there's a woman who can melt your heart again."

Faye thinks, sounds like Denis has not been in love for a long time which is strange considering Denis is so good at seducing or is Denis just having fun all this time?

It wouldn't be surprising to Faye if Denis did.

"I'm sorry," Denis said he regretted it.

"It's okay, I'm disappointed you can think so considering we've been friends from the first time we went to college," Henry said, then stared at Faye, "so? She's really your wife?"

Denis immediately approaches Faye, embracing the woman's shoulder, "Yes, she's my wife and my former Sugar Mama."

Faye and Henry were shocked to hear it.

"She's your first Sugar Mama?" asked Henry to make sure.

Denis nodded.

"Damn," says Henry, "I know you've always had great charm, but not so fast, getting married."
