Vol 1 : Communication After 3 Years (R)

Faye loosens her hug so her eyes can meet Denis's, "What did you say? You asked your father to help me, right?"

How can it be such a small thing? What they are talking about right now is tens of thousands of dollars!

"Yes," Denis replied innocently, "but I'm only requesting, the one who pays the money is still Papa, not me, Fay."

Denis is happy that his father wants to help too after they talked on the phone, even though he thought he wouldn't be answered because the money he used in the past hasn't been returned yet.

Denis stops first when Faye's restaurant is before his eyes. He picks up his cell phone, and presses a call on the contact that read: Papa.

For a moment the connecting tone is heard.

[Finally, you are willing to answer.]

Denis takes a deep breath, for the first time hearing his father's voice after such a long time that he has forgotten.
