Soul Fragments (Vol 1. Part 2)

Lord Valeric one of the prominent figures of the Ivuku religion visits the Amethyst palace occasionally. His role is not clear but it seems he is of an important figure. He is the brainchild of the catalyst project. A plan that is said to bring balance and change the future of the Land of Dawn.

The Cardinals are assembled in the halls of the palace. The head Cardinal himself went out to meet him. Lord Valeric kissed the ring of the head Cardinal and pays his respects. After then the two went to the holy chambers of the saints. There the two began their conversation.

"What of the plans of bringing the catalysts?" Lord Valeric asked.

The head Cardinal worriedly replied, "All seems well despite some setbacks."

"Setbacks?" Asked Valeric.

"Yes, an anomaly a very unstable anomaly..." The head Cardinal said.

Lord Valeric does not seem to be pleased with what he was hearing. Knowing that his plans may go haywire he reprimanded the head Cardinal and said.

"A failure will cause terrible consequences to our plans. It is not wise to let this setback linger! Which of these catalysts were you referring to?" Lord Valeric asked the Head Cardinal.

Hiding the matter won't help to ease the situation this the Head Cardinal lead Lord Valeric to the Mirror of Truths. There he shows the progress of the process Emma with her protege. He seems troubled with what he saw. Not because of the void that he senses about the man but something eerily off about him.

"So you are alive... A "void" like you is able to survive in this world. Impressive, very impressive!" Lord Valeric muttered and let out a chuckle.

"What are you talking about?" The Head Cardinal asked.

"Nothing don't mind me..." Lord Valeric said and went into the doorway of the hall. "Make sure all of the catalysts will be ready when the time comes. The purging will commence soon, only the finest will remain."

"Of course my Lord! It shall be done!" The Head Cardinal replied as Lord Valeric left.

Meanwhile back to the Amethyst palace Prioress Emmina returned. With her is the injured Simon who fought his way in the outskirts of the Magic Academy.

"No one shall know your identity. One of the Soul Fragments is here with you. A dream, no, a memory fragment. You shall be treasured by the order!"
