STARTING INFORMATION

Thank you for reading Continuous School (or deciding to read it).

I'm a bit late writing all this since this web novel started back in May 2019 and ended in May 2020, but I'm currently writing this in June 2021.

So, I wanted to go over a few things.

What you are about to read is my first-ever web novel, so it starts a bit bumpy.

I decided that I didn't want to edit the earlier chapters and change them as I believe that it shows the improvement in the writing as the chapters get on (plus you can compare it to whatever I'm writing now). Although, I may have improved a few chapters in terms of grammar and general clarity, just to make things clearer. But not all chapters got this spell-check treatment, so a lot of them probably are filled with spelling mistakes.

Secondly, I consider this to be somewhat autobiographical. Originally, the main character was named after me (Owen) as I wanted to write about my 'ideal' school experience. But that quickly changed. The character of Owen ended up being so different to what I actually am that I thought about changing the name but couldn't. I couldn't see him with another name. If I rewrote the entire web novel from scratch, maybe I'd change the name, but then I'd feel as if I had to change the personality.

So, I decided to keep it all.

Also, my 'ideal' experience was massively hyperbolized for the sack of entertainment, obviously, I added stuff to make it interesting, but I still would like to live the life these guys in the story did. I think it's a story about friendship, love and making the most out of school life, something I think everyone wishes.

Edit 12/04/2023:

I've started to very slowly reread and edit all chapters. At the moment, I've only done up to chapter 64 but hopefully, plan to do all the others soon.

I didn't realise a year had passed since I started looking back through the old chapters. I'll keep my old edit and keep adding as I go, but I've started to get motivation back and I've done up to chapter 85
