11:AM

Koda Ko had never heard the pleasant voice of a lovely goddess whispering in his ear, he had never seen the silky blue strings of love floating through the air, and he had never showed the fantastical powers it seemed everyone but him held.

"Don't worry Koda, I'm sure things will be better out here."

His mother turned around to face him from the passenger seat, holding out a twizzler in her hand. He took it from her before slowly chewing on it.

"I'm not worried, if things change they do if not then I'm used to it."

He responded. A sigh left his mouth as his attention turned to the towering academy which blocked even the sun. it's expansive campus could have been a city in of itself.

"..They have the best Diviners here unlike in the country. Maybe one of them will be able to see something different."

Came his father, the car coming to a hard stop. He continued now finally able to turn around.

"-Remember You earned the right to be here powers or not. Blue String or not. I'm proud of you."

"To think you came this far as a deviant. Goes to show how tough you are."

His mother chimed in. she was trying to be supportive but it still ended up sounding like an insult.

"Anymore of this and my ears will turn red, I'll see you guys the next time I do."

Koda rushed out of the back seat of his families car holding the large suitcase behind him. Throughout the years his family were the only ones who ever supported him, and even now he wasn't used to the praise. It felt more natural to be shamed, made fun of, or feared.

"Byeeeee honey!"

His mom leaned out the window to wave goodbye and luckily his dad saved him by quickly driving her away.

"I never thought I'd be here. Eden Academy."

Eden, the school called the Garden Of The Goddess and the most prestigious Academy in all of the world. It was created to further the unique skills and talents of gifted students for the sake of benefiting their many businesses and the world. Many history altering discoveries, breakthroughs, and people have come from this academy.

That's not what he was here for.

The Central Task Foce Of Search And Rescue. The C.T.S.R. was a global force of counter terrorist and world police that dealt in very dangerous problems. This was the only course that had mandatory divination, which meant he got a second shot. To get the service of one of the best for free.

12:30 AM

He was right, the campus was like a city. It took an hour to get to the main building from the parking lot. inside the walls of the academy he passed by stores, dorms, auxiliary buildings, and even a on site factory.

"Koda Ko Correct? Welcome to Eden, Follow me." The man behind the counter stepped from behind it into the hallway and lead him to the right side of the building where the white of the material slowly grew into black and deep blues.

For a place that was the talk of the world there hadn't been much decoration aside from the intricate detailing on the outside of each building mixing medieval aesthetics with more modern looks.

They ended up stopping after going through a set of double doors which lead to a small little waiting room with a Line of about twenty or so people left.

"If you wait here then soon your name will be called since I've checked you in. Once that has happened go onto the stage and stand before the Diviner."

"Gotcha."

Koda settled in behind the line. He was late so there hadn't really been time to stop by his assigned dorm.

"So you're the one that was late. I'm surprised that you even showed your face here. Koda."

The sneering words came from the boy in front of him, and someone Koda would have liked if he never say again. Itoh Kinichiro, the man who had made his entire high school life hell.

"If you have shit to say do it later, I can't stand your morning breath."

Koda shot back with the first thing that came to mind. The old routine slipping right back into place. Itoh clearly hadn't liked that as he grabbed Koda by the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer.

"Just wait until we're out of here you damned dog eyes."

'dog eyes' the insult Itoh always used for him. He was egotistical, and prideful which meant of all things he couldn't stand someone looking down on him. He hated Koda's eyes, he hated how their predatory gaze never broke, how they looked down at him.

"Itoh Kinichiro!"

"Don't let me see you around after this."

Itoh shoved him backwards then pivoted back to the stage fixing his face into a bright smile. His orange hair meticulously styled into a perm laid over flawless pale skin and emerald green eyes. everything about his appearance had been planned for self titled perfection.

"Model student my ass."

Koda dusted himself off before letting free another sigh, it wasn't easy being a deviant.

His thoughts of how to avoid the guy for a good year or two were interrupted by the shocked crowd clapping and cheering at the bright blue light that seemed to overtake the room.

"A pure blue!"

"The same color as the Princess.. maybe-"

"I heard he was the top of his graduating class."

Those words alone told him that the next few minutes weren't going to be fun. Despite being in another country rumours spread fast, especially about people in his situation.

"Koda Ko!"

He responded to his name, taking the first few steps onto the stage. All around him sat students half of them wearing the black cloak like uniforms with the blue eaten apple insignia and others in casual clothing.

"Is he the cripple?"

"Yeah that's him."

"Ugh what's he doing here then?"

"To take up space, with the lack of talent Recently I'm sure the academy allowed at least a few rejects in. He'd be useless on any team even as a pack mule."

"He looks so scary, are cripples feral as well?"

"One attacked my dad."

Murmurs came from the crowd although it had not been anything new to Koda. His whole life the world had not showered him with respect. The eyes of disdain from those around him when his powerlessness was discovered had still been born into his mind. The constant days of solitude. The abuse he suffered simply for being different and the scars he had to prove it.

He was used to it all, so why did the boos make him so angry? Why did the quiet whispers, and even lourder alienating stares of the room make his blood boil? If he could have it his way each and everyone of these bastards would be groveling at his feet.

It finally clicked. He was tired of it.

The diviner looked at him with pity filled eyes as they took his hand. Man or woman he didn't know. The blue garbs of the diviner hid their body, muffled the voice, and disguised their face.

They gestured for his hand to touch the floating crystal ball in front of him and for a moment he hesitated before gripping it hard.

'Do you wish to lear-'

He cut off the voice of the goddess playing in his head, over writing her own replayed words with own thoughts.

'I know you can hear me you shitty goddess! If you make my life a continuous hell I don't care how it's done but I'll make you feel the same.'

The Crystal ball sat in the plam of his hand showing no reaction, snickers beginning to build up around him.

'For the Moon is naught without the light of the Sun, The World is Naught without you. Dominating fate is such a power of the Continuous Red.'

The crystal shattered in his hands spilling blood onto the floor as a blinding red light enveloped the room.

'Shall the blood of many create the red path you walk, and upon the faded blue world may your crown rest. Oh lord be the endless red!'

The goddess continued her neutral tone broken for a desperate plea. The Diviner falling to their knees.

'Oh lord of eternal red!'

All the screaming stopped at once leaving his head as silent as the room around him. It was not as expected, the crowd full with faces of starstruck awe at something never seen before. A red reaction.

Koda could only muster a almost demonic chuckle before dropping just like the Diviner had and falling unconscious.
