6 Chapter 4: A brother in need
After few minutes after the conversation Juggernaut radiod back to base to inform the CO they already reach the junction of Sandigan going to Brgy Batasan Hills pook pag asa and there already proceeding on foot were our brothers in arms and civilian were trapped.
Juggernaut this is Quebec maintain radio silence as much as possible those piece of shits can be attracted to sounds, stay low and engage only when needed. CO said.
Copy Quebec, Juggernaut going radio silence, will ring you if something arises, over and out. President replied
Okay juggernauts lets move swiftly and silently, stay low and remember the basics we got this shit handled. President said

Slowly the juggernaut squad moved going to there objective they were already in the junction of Batasan hills and San Mateo road.
President open his map and check their location.
Okay were only 1km away from our objective i can already see the Civil service building we can finish this without any issue or problems. Let's move. President commanded to his squad.
unfortunately when they were about to move, one of his squadmates accidentaly hit a blue honda civic with the muzzle of his rifle and it started the alarm of the car and alerted all the infected in the area. within seconds the infected formed a huge group that turned into a horder moving towards them
For fuck sake. move, double time. maintain distance and fire. President commanded his squad mates
while the Juggernaut squad was moving with maneuer and fire. president started firing on his front hitting 2 infected coming close to him. while there automatic rifleman started firing burst round and hitting 4 infected while the other 3 keep on moving forward. after they advance a distance of 25 meters the rifle man, grenader and marksman provided cover for President and his automatic rifle man and continued and move to the direction were there squad mates are. after they consolidate the whole squad open fire, pooping every infected coming near them in an instance.
President shouted to his rifle man, automatic rifle man and marksman, advance another 25 meters, provide cover fire. the 3 run as fast as they can and provided cover fire.
Grenader pop to blows. President ordered.
without hesitation the grenader reponded, with pleasure and then shoots 2 40mm rounds. creating an explosion and clearinf the incoming horde. after that president and his grenader move to closer to his other squad mate and cosolidated, laughing ang brwathing heavily they cheered.

So far were doing fine lets keep moving, Malice contact base, inform them we engage a group of infected and manage to repel their assualt and going to continue current mission. Redmark can you see any movement infront? Pres said.
Target is already insight about 900 meters or so. few infected moving towards our location but we can just pass through them. his marksman replied (Redmark)
okay lets move, we may have attracted more infected from the ruckass we made earlier we need to this fast. President said
Juggernaut this is base. Move your ass on the double you got a lot of infected coming from your south.

The whole base is now tense and worried seeing the ammount of infected moving to there loaction. The CO instructed our platoon leader to prepare another squad to support the juggernaut if in any case needed. But we all know there going to need all the support we can give them.
King (platoon leader) prepare a squad to be the QRF (Quick reaction force) in any case the juggernaut need some assistance cuase i got a feeling there going to need one. CO said.
Sir with all do respect only one squad? I cant afford lossing my men not just my men but brothers they are my brothers why dont we send the whole platoon. King said angrily.
You know we cant do that. it'll be hard to insert them and also to extract them. Thats why we can only send one squad! i know what your feeling right know, you dont want to lose you platoon mates especialy knowing that they are your classmates in training and you been together since you begun your military career as 2nd Lts. I also dont want to lose these young kids under my command not again! do you understand 2Lt. King. CO said angrily.

King organize the remaining squad of the platoon and task my squad to be the QRF.
Beast im sending you and your squad in. we need you to provide support or even rescue President and his squad along with our brother and civilian who are trapped in the DSWD building in brgy Batasan Hills. said king.
No problem we'll bring them back alive and kicking. I said with a thumbs up.
After saying those phrases to King I pause for a moment and drown in my own taught's. Im having doubts with myself, can I lead my squadmate my brothers? I am responsible for there welfare and safety can i keep them safe? i ask myself. I woke up from my taughts when a i felt a vibrating motion in my pocket, it wss my phone I check on it and it was my alarm. i turned off the alarm and put my phone pn silent mode then I saw my wallpaper a smile form on my lips. I hope your safe. i said to myself.
after a few minutes king call me and inform me that me and my squad is about to mount up on the simba armored personnel carrier and will be drope off east of the DSWD building to meet up with the Juggernaut squad and extract the trapped soldiers and civilian. The simba was equiped with a .50 caliber browning machine gun to provide cover fire if neededand 1 KM truck for the others, for fast extraction. the convoy starts to move and while we were moving i held tightly my rosary asking god to protect us and keep us safe and for the success of our first mission. after few hours of riding with the convoy we were drop off at litex highway near the a church and we proceeded on foot entering a 2 lane street. The street is not accessible for the simba and the KM truck to push forward so we have to haul ass and double our speed hoping were not to late to assist the juggernaut squad.
Mean while on the juggernaut squad, President and his squad already reach the objective but was being assaulted by a large horde of almost 30 to 50 infected they were defending a single hallway baricaded by tables chairs and other heavy materials just to slow the movement of the infected. Good thing they manage to lock the main gate.
squad concentrate fire straight ahead make every shots count. President commanded.
His squad followed his order and without thinking open fire pooping several infected.
Pres im running low with beer (ammo). said Malice.
I still have six shots of 40mm grenade. said road runner
I still have 200 rounds in me and 50 rounds in my K3. said Reaper
I got 9 mags left on me and 8 rounds on my EBR. Redmark added.
I have 8 mags left and 12 rounds on my R4. said President
President shot the remaining ammo loade on his gun pooping 4 more infected before he reloaded his rifle.
Roadrunner pop one out aim for the center to cut off the infecteds movement and buy us some time. said President.

While Reaper fired his last belt feed on his K3.
Reloading, provide cover fire. Reaper shouted.
Redmark, Malice and President provided the cover and then Roadrunner pop a 40mm on the center of the horde. creating a huge explosion and mist of red smoked covering there sight on the infected.
After a few minutes another wave came through like a swarm of ants locking on a candy bar on the ground.
Fuck, here we go again. President said
Malice call Base, request for support. inform base were already at the objective no sign of the trapped soldiers and civis and were under heavy contact. President exclaimed.

We already arrive at the objective, no sign of any trapped soldiers and civis in the area, were under heavy contact request for immediate support, were running low on ammo. Malice reponded.
Juggernaut, A QRF has already been sent to extract you. Beast and his squad is already near your area. Hold your line and wait for the QRF. Enssure that the trapped soldier and civis is not in the building we can't afford leaving our men and citizen in danger. out. CO Replied.
Boss a QRF has already been sent and already in the area. Command want us to make sure that the targets are not here and we need to hold our line for a bit longer. Malice said to President.
