463. Infinite Illusions

"Who is... talking..."

Noland Lee woke up slowly, his vision blurred and his body weak.

Dot-like light sources appeared hazy in his field of vision, hanging high in the night sky like brilliant stars.

A faint sense of unrealness and dizziness came in waves, as though he had been awake for three continuous days and nights, feeling distressing.

After not too long, the discomfort in his head gradually dissipated, and his vision became clear after rubbing his eyes over and over again.

"Where is this?"

Noland's eyes showed surprise as he looked around, only to discover that he was in a strange territory.

It seemed like a corner of outer space, surrounded by countless speckles and dots of stars, with the vague silhouettes of galaxies and massive celestial bodies visible.

But strangely, Noland could feel something supportive under his feet, an invisible ground that allowed him to stand and walk, instead of floating in a vacuum.
