1 Unforeseen Tragedy

A deadly virus that emerged from one city spread through out the world. It ended up killing more than half of the population . Now people live isolated in their homes while animals roam freely. The virus doesn't affect animals .Its been 120 years now the virus has mutated and become more deadly. As the virus is air borne people move through underground . Their homes are completely insulated and only filtered air can come in.Under these harsh conditions there is a group of people who help people in need , they rescue them from critical situations and also deliver materials from above ground. Their suits are made up of materials on which virus can't survive for long . They are called FISHKERS .

Episode 1

(FISHKERS central department)

Beep beep beep the emergency bells rang up and all members began assembling.

Caesar(asst.commandant):- "We got a situation here .There has been an earthquake and house no.154 got a crack in the roof .We have 30 minutes to save them .Once the crack gets bigger the virus will enter and will kill all the 4 family members . Hurry up … seal the gap or evacuate them .

Zet you are in charge take 4 members and hurry up to the location ."

Zet:- yes sir

Zet being the fastest fishker ,hurried up to the affected area with 4 of his teammates.

Zet was moving in fast with his bike and his teammates were following him in car .

Zet:- I'm taking a shortcut you guys come as quick as possible ... And don't forget to seal your suits properly.

Tank(strongest member of the group and also the driver of the car ) spoke "yes sir right behind you ".

Zet took a Sharp right turn moving inside an abandoned house and got out through the window of the house ....he was taking the smallest possible rout to the place . In general fishkers move in cars to be safe but zet always takes heavy risk and that's why he is the fastest.

Tank:- well that was one hell of a short cut , our car can't move in . We have to take the long route.

Zet was moving in fast and on the same time was taking an update on the condition of house 154 . His AI on helmet gave update in a computerized voice " the crack is getting bigger you have 25 mins remaining , number of family members :- 4 , two males two females , father age 30 , mother 29, son 8 yr old, daughter 5 year old .

Zet :- damn it the family only has two physically active member and there are two dependants . I can't handle the situation alone ....even evaluation will be difficult .

Zet reached the place ,his helmet notified him " 20 min remaining" .

He moved in through the vaccume door .The mother opened the door .

Zet quickly assessed the situation . He told the father to move to the underground path and seal off the basement door till they repair the crack.

The father denied he told her wife to take the children downstares to the basement and wanted to stay with FISHKERS to help them .

Zet didn't wanted that but his teammates hadn't arrived so he agreed.

As the mother was moving downwards a strong wind blewing outside hit the roof tiles and the crack got bigger .Warning sign appeared in zet's helmet " situation critical 5 minutes remaining"

Zet shouted – hurry up get them downstairs , Mr please increase the rooms air pressure ,the crack is getting bigger due to the negative air pressure inside the room.

As the father adjusted the room pressure the crack stopped getting bigger. Zet gave a sigh of relief and said " now I can handle it you can go to the basement and wait ".

Father :- sorry for the trouble "I had no idea this could stop the crack formation "

Zet :- no problem mister it's our duty to protect you and anyways …..

Even before zet could complete his sentence a strong wind came and 'dhum' the roof lost a tile . The virus can now enter inside the room . Zet had a suit but the father didn't…..

Zet jumped and pushed him inside and locked the door ."huff thank god , now he would be fine " said Zet and turned back towards the broken roof .He started feeling dizzy . 'what is happening ' he thought and then he looked downwards .He saw his suit got torn , virus has entered to his body . He could barely move his body now . He fell down and was slowly getting unconscious . His internal organs were burning he could feel them getting destroyed by the virus .

His teammates arrived outside he could hear their vehicles sound. He was trying to force his eyes to remain open but they closed and everything started fading.

Blood was coming out of his mouth . In his last moments he was having a flash back scene from his past .

'He was a kid , his mother was cooking curry .It smelled delicious ,he ran to her and she hugged him . It felt warm he wanted to stay there .

A sound came 'dhub' 'dhub ' someone broke into their house . His father used to be a ration supplier ,so they usually have a lot of food stock in their homes . Due to the virus outbreak food was hard to be found outside . Luxurious items got extinct ,most food stocks were piled up by the rich and influencial people. The remaining people began fighting and killing each other for food and supplies . On that dreadful day their house had became the target .

The culprits entered the house with guns , first they shot zet's father .

Zet and his mother went running . One of the culprits pointed the gun towards zet and fired , his mother came in the way of the bullet . Tears fell off from his eyes as he saw the bullet passing through his mothers body.

His mother fell on him protecting him from any incoming bullets . The culprit's

Fleed from the crime scene after taking the required essentials. Zet felt so helpless

,he was crying 'mom ,mom please get up ' . He was 10 yr old back then now he is 23 but still that event repeats itself in his dreams . …

Everything went black falling into abyss …. "guess this is the end . I'm glad I was able to save peoples life " thought Zet ...…
