35 Wind Slashes

Another bat came swooping in, but this time he parried it, smacking it away with the flat of his blade. It was sent flying into the depths of the cave, and a loud thud echoed throughout the cave as it smashed into a wall.

Zack gnashed his teeth, because the pain from the splinters in his hand was exacerbated by the tight grip he had on the hilt of his sword. Quickly letting his bad hand fall to his side, the emerald glow around his blade began to fade.

The technique had already drained seventy points out of his Ardor Pool, so keeping it active wouldn't be ideal. Not only that, but the focus it needed rendered his three hundred sixty degree sphere of vision pointless.

Deciding to take things slow and steady, Zack put his focus back on the area around him.

Just then, another pair of wind slashes came his way. One slash was aimed for his head, while the other aimed for his legs. They came from opposing directions, so a simple side step was enough to avoid getting hit.
