31 Evidence

"Nick, hold on a second," Ivan said while peering into the darkness of the cave.

More than happy to oblige, Nick stopped dragging the carriage and stood upright. "What's up?" he said after catching his breath.

Ivan didn't respond and continued to stare into the cave. Nick followed suit, and knit his brows while trying to peer into the darkness.

Suddenly, fast and heavy footsteps resounded throughout the cave. "Just as I thought, someone's coming," Ivan hurriedly said.

Nick took out his battle axe in response, when a thought suddenly crossed his mind. "Couldn't it just be Zack?" Ivan nodded, but continued to stay on high-alert anyway, just in case. The two then watched as a figure came running into their field of vision.

With a brief gust of wind and a loud boom, the figure sped up even more and turned into a blur. Ivan's gears turned as the blurred figure approached him.
