3 God Tree

Chapter 3

Laying down the corpses of Sam and Lehna in the middle of the cabin I walk to an unconscious Malian placing her next to her dead husband and daughter. Creating a dagger in my hand I lift her stabbing right through her Achilles' tendon, her screams filling the air as I do the same to her other foot.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" She shouts as I pin her hand to the ground stabbing right through her palm pinning her to the dirt as I leave the cabin.

Staring at the wooden cabin with the thatch roof the wind ruffles my warm furs shanking the tops of the trees as some of the loose leaves shake the leaves. Activating my byakugan I stare inside the house watching Malian struggle. Taking a deep breath I blow out a stream of fire catching the cabin ablaze.

Waiting to watch Malian die I walk down to the dirt trail, a path that will eventually connect to the Kingsroad. Summoning a beautifully carved wooden carriage with golden carvings of the moon and stars on the outside. Focusing on my powers I picture a horse in my mind as two great grey steeds appear in front of me full of life and vigor.

After sixteen years I've finally done it. I've created a living creature. Feeling a smile come to my face I decide to try again picturing two humans in my head as two older men appear out of thin air standing around six feet tall two inches smaller than I wearing silver knight's armor a moon engraved in the chest plate with broadswords by their sides.

"We are yours to command my King." They say at the same time taking off their helmets revealing their faces kneeling in front of me as I let out a small chuckle. Looking closely at the two men one has a great grey beard with a bald head with a narrow nose and grey pupils and the other has sharp facial features with black stubble on his face and a crew cut that I usually see military men have.

"You," I say looking at the man with the beard. "Your name is Henry." I was debating about not naming them at all but these are my first creations, not naming them would be a disgrace.

"Thank you my king I will treasure my name." He says while lowering his head even lower.

"As for you you will be named Oliver." I say directing my attention to the second man who lowers his head just as much as Henry.

"I thank you my King I will honor this gift you have given me." He says as they stay kneeled. Using my powers again I created four other men and five knew horses all with similar grey fur. Looking at the four knew men who all kneel before me with matching silver armor I feel my grin stretch across my face.

"Rise," I say as the six men rise. "You six will be given the honor of being my King's guard. Your duty is to protect me at all cost. Henry will be your Captain and Oliver your Vice Captain you will listen to their orders and follow them to the best of your abilities. Your first task is to follow this trail until we get to Winterfell tell me when and if you get hungry I will create food for you when it is needed.

"Yes my King," Henry says dutifully as he turns to the other five men giving them orders. Getting into the carriage I sit on the comfortable red cushioned seats feeling a wave of fatigue as a drop of red blood hits the palm of my hand.

That was to be expected, when I first began to create inanimate objects if I overused my ability I'd get extreme mental strain and bloody noses. Humans and animals are much more difficult to make just because I have to make each of them a past and depending on if I want them to be human or a Kryptonian because the Kryptonian is so much stronger it will put more strain on my mind. I made my King's guard mostly human except for Henry and Oliver. They are both super soldiers which is why I feel so fatigued. They will not stay human, as I continue to make living beings and become stronger with my abilities I will alter them to be the most powerful Kings Guards the worlds have ever seen.

I made each of my guards past to be the perfect soldiers being trained since birth to use a sword serving faithfully to me never even dreaming of betraying me.

Shutting my eyes I quickly drift off to sleep allowing my mind to rest.

Staring out the carriage window I look over the lush hills and trees as the head of a grey horse blocks my view one of the guards I've yet to name coming into view.

"My King we will be arriving at Winterfell within the day." He says before he speeds up clearing my view, the beautiful scenery coming back into view.

We will not be staying long in Winterfell. I am merely going to see where I am in the timeline and from there I will be able decide on what my next course of action will be. We've been traveling for three days and in those three days I've been practicing my creation powers. The first day I made twenty men and twenty horses then forty of both the next day and fifty of both the next day. In total I have one hundred and sixteen men and one hundred and eighteen horses.

The strain that I feel in my head is immense but it is a small price to pay for man power. I'm sure that all the armored knights have reached word to any and all the nearby Lords which is why I've prepared extra cargo as an excuse for all the soldiers.

Feeling the carriage stop and the sound of horses neigh I step out of the carriage watching as my men draw their swords in the distance the light of torches coming down the path.

"Sheath your blades men!" I shout as the knights follow my orders. Walking to the front of my horde I wait for the trail of torches to come closer a Wolf banner clear in the light from the torches

"Hello," I shout as around forty men all clad in dark armor, their hands resting on their swords as they stop in front of us. "What do we owe the please to be greeted by Stark soldiers?" I question as a stern looking soldier walks forward on his horse.

"Traveler, your presence is demanded by the Lord of Winterfell Warden of the North Lord Eddard Stark! Now hand over your weapons and follow us back!" He shouts as I give him a smile looking back at my men.

"That is not a problem Ser I am but a mere merchant these men are merely my guards to make sure my product is protected." Giving a gesture to my men they all drop their swords, some of the Stark my getting off their horses still on guard going to pick all of them up.

"This many guards just for merchandise?" He scoffs sneering at me.

"Well when the merchandise is expensive enough you tend to need more guards." Trying to sound as condescending as possible I find amusement in watching the knights face morph into one of annoyance.

"We'll see what the Lord thinks." Hitting his horse he walks back the way he came making a path through his men. "Search the men to clear them of their weapons. We will present them to Lord Stark; he will be the one to judge their story."

"Give them whatever weapons you have we will follow them to Winterfell!" I call making my way back to the carriage with a cart attached to the back a tarp hiding whatever's inside of it. I'm surprised at the fact that it took so long for us to be stopped. We had passed many people so it was expected. What surprised me was how long it took for soldiers to get to us. Either or I still get to go to Winterfell and I learned that Eddard is the Lord of Winterfell.

I was never planning to go inside of Winterfell. I was just planning to get close enough to see inside with my Byakugan then make my way to White Harbor, one of the main trade ports of the north and make a ship and leave. This works out as well, I'm able to have a first hand look at Winterfell and if anything goes wrong I can just fly away and have my soldiers try to escape and wait for my return.

Resting my head against the carriage wall I eagerly await my arrival to Winterfell.

Feeling the carriage stop I step out of the carriage a cold breeze hitting my freshly created polar bear fur that's draped over my whole body it's head being used as a hood draped over my face. The cold doesn't affect me the furs are merely for show so people do not question me more than they should.

Staring up at the two massive walls with great towers made of greystone that touch the low hanging clouds I can't help but whistle in appreciation at Brandon the Builder's work.

"Winterfell truly is beautiful." I say to the approaching Stark Knight on horseback.

"Follow," he says simply as I mount one of my knight's horses following closely behind him.

"Stay here until I return!" I call to my men walking through the drawbridge with more Stark troops funneling out of on top of it.

Walking through the narrow passages of Winterfell the servants are sputtered about cleaning and moving things. Eventually the soldier leads me to the great hall where Lord Stark sits atop a raised platform with Lady Catelyn and Robb Stark sitting next to him as well as an older man with greyed hair tied beneath his chin and another older man who has metal rings linked together in front of him. As the soldier says Eddard's titles I give a deep bow.

"Lord Eddard Stark it is an honor to meet you." I say with the same condescending tone I used with the guard but find no amusement when his serious face stays serious.

"You march through my lands with knights with an unknown sigil. Why?" He asks his grey eyes bearing down on me as I remove my hood staring back with my white pupiless eyes that can just barely be seen.

"My apologies for the misunderstanding my Lord you see I mean you no harm I am a mere merchant from overseas here to sell my goods, the knights are only for protection." I say with a smile watching the skepticism wash over Robb's face as the other members of the room remain unreadable.

"And what is it that you're selling merchant?" Robb asks as I turn my gaze towards him releasing some of my power solely towards him enjoying the sight of him squirm in his seat. They look similar to how I remember them in the show which means I have arrived before cannon has started

"I am a spice merchant from Essos. If you check my carriage they will have them. I sailed across the sea to sell my merchandise in hopes of helping my family. My name is Damon, Damon Otsutsuki." I say with another guard as Catelyn whispers into a guards ear who sneaks out of the room surely to check my statement.

"Well Damon I don't know how they do things in Essos but when an unknown group of one hundred knights walks towards a castle it does not look good." Eddard says with a stern gaze.

"My apologies Lord Eddard it was never my intention to appear as a threat please as an apology for my inconvenience you may take half of the spices I have." I say with another bow.

"Your compensation is unneeded. My men will escort you and your men out of my lands; we have no need for your spices here." He says with a narrowed gaze. I did not expect Eddard to buy the spices. I'm sure he'd rather spend his gold on things to prepare for the long winter that is to come.

"Your kindness will not be forgotten my Lord. I will repay you one day." As Eddard gives me permission to leave I get escorted out of the castle back to my men who have received their swords.

Looking at the Stark men around us they have nearly tripled our escort to leave some looking like proper knights in armor others looking like the common man with a battle ax. Getting onto one of the horses I ride in front of my men getting led by a Stark soldier.

Riding another three days through the lands of the North the man who I've followed stops near an open field.

"We rest here for the night." He shouts dismounting from his horse as I follow his lead.

Sitting by the cracklings fire Henry and Oliver by my side all the men scattered by multiple campfires roasting food. Closing my eyes I focus on my creation powers picturing what I've been trying to create for the last sixteen years. Opening my eyes I stare down at the large seed around the size of a basketball resting in the palm of my hand.

"The God Tree.."
