"Here, Big Brother" A soft and beautiful voice was heard as Little Yue passed the glass of water to Avery.

Avery drank the water and gave the glass back. "Thank you."

He looked at her straight in the eyes. His eyes filled with so much love that was telling her that she meant the world to him. She was taken aback with those eyes and felt her heart beat faster.

Moments later, she snapped out and looked to the side with a blush on her cheeks.

"Oh yeah, Little Yue. What's the date today?"

Little Yue calmed down after hearing the question and answered "Oh its, August 15, 2021. Why do you ask?"

'Hmm, August 15 which means that I gambled and lost everything in 3 days and The Ascension should be on September 1.'

"No, it's nothing. I just wanted to know how much time is left before the next rent"

"You should let me help Big Brother. You're already suffering because of me. I don't want to be useless to you" Little Yue said, looking down as tears slowly threatened to form on her eyes.

Avery placed a hand on her cheeks and slowly wiped the tears away "Don't say that. You know why I can't let you work. It's dangerous working in places like that. Especially for beautiful girls like you."

With the hand on her face and being called beautiful by the person she loved diverted her attention as she blushed like crazy.

"Fff...Fi..Fine!! But you should go to sleep now Big Brother!" She said as she ran back to her room.

Avery smiled at her behavior and laid back on the bed while thinking of his next step.

'I should still gamble in three days. But, this time I'll make sure to place my bet on the right person and not be swayed by the majority.'

'I should be able to earn tons of money there since I know who will win. I know because, that was a very memorable day to me. It was the day where everything went to hell because I placed my bet on the wrong person'

'I should be able to earn a couple of million credits there. I just hope I can get out of that place as fast as possible without drawing too much attention.'

In the next few days. Avery spent time resting and being nursed by his cute beautiful sister. He spent more time talking with her as he missed this feeling and even flirted a couple of times. Little Yue was taken aback by his sudden change in behavior. He was more mature, smart, and most importantly was starting to show signs of accepting his feelings for her that he desperately tried to lock inside his heart before by avoiding her.

Even though she was surprised by the sudden behavior. She did not refuse the advances and spent time laughing and talking with her Big Brother. It was one of the happiest days in her life since her Big Brother is not avoiding her like he did in the past.
