"Virgil, we need to talk."

Becca said nervously as she looked at me with slightly serious expression on her beautiful face, her head on top of my bare chest.

Currently, we are on her bed. We are both naked with only the white bedsheets barely covering us, with my hands on her soft ass.

Sigh, she wants us to talk about our current relationship.

Last night, she called me to come here for a surprise. Things happened so I was able to fuck her, I experienced a new kind of pleasure.

"It's okay, I get it. You still have feelings for him, it's normal to feel that way.

He might be dead somewhere but it's hard to let go of someone you love. If you are not sure of anything yet, then let's just continue to be more than friends."

I interrupted and said calmly with a slight smile.

Hearing this, a smile came on her face and the next moment her lips were on mine, giving me a deep kiss.

"Thank you for understanding Virgil."

She thanked me as she ended the kiss with a beautiful smile.

"Now then, let's go and wash ourselves."

I said with a smirk and carried her to the bathroom, it's going to be a long bath.

I increased my speed, moving swiftly towards Vought Tower.

After a long and 'adventurous' bath with Becca, I got a call from Homelander about an emergency meeting.

Normally, I would've ignored it but his tone showed he is angry and I want to see what's got him so riled up that he will call an emergency team meeting.

I didn't feel like changing into my superhero costume so I'm going to attend the so called meeting in my black Versace T-shirt and jeans with sneakers of the same brand.

After five minutes of flying, I arrived above the city and continued my course for the Tower.

Landing at the entrance calmly, I ignored the looks of adoration and awe from those around and entered the building.

I walked past the greeting employees and personell and entered the elevator that had two young female employees inside and pressed on the ninety ninth floor.

As the elevator ascended I could sense lustful thoughts of the young ladies so I turned and flashed them a smile that made them blush.

A few minutes later, the girls left the elevator with a smile after giving me their numbers.

This happens all the time so I didn't react that much and only smiled at them.

Seconds later, the elevator arrived on the last floor so I got out and walked towards the room.

Arriving at the door, I pressed a button and entered the meeting room.

"Sorry I'm late."

I said to those in the room and sat on my seat.

Those in the room include Homelander, Maeve, Starlight, Black Noir and A-Train.

"Good to have you with us Deva."

Homelander who is standing said to me with a fake smile.

His mind is practically screaming jealousy and envy, what a man-child.

"Likewise."

I said with a smile.

"Now that the gangs all here, let's talk about why we are here today. As you've all noticed the team is falling apart, one of us is dead and another has been sent away.

We aren't even Seven anymore, but at least now I know why."

Homelander said with a stoic face and pressed a button on the remote, making the face of Hughie Campbell appear on the screen.

Hooh, this getting interesting.

"W-Wait, what does he have to do with this?"

Starlight asked with confusion.

A quick dip in her mind made me know why, It seems she is seeing him.

Hoh? it seems they've been fucking, I can't say I'm disappointed but she could've done better.

"Good question Starlight, guys this is Hughie Campbell.

He is the guy Starlight has been seeing lately and also the killer of Translucent."

Homelander said with an expression that showed how pissed he is.

"No no no, He can't do that. I mean why would he?"

She denied his claims with her face in disbelief.

"Well, let's ask A-Train."

Homelander said as he faced A-Train.

Oh okay, I now have the entire picture. So the blood that was on him when he came to my office is because he run through Poor Hughie's girlfriend.

Can't say I blame him though, I would've done worst if I was in his shoes but I guess his luck has run out this time.

"Hold up, I don't know him."

A-Train said with his hands raised in the air.

"Really? Maybe this will make you remember."

Homelander said and used the remote to zoom out the image, showing A-Train shaking Hughie's hand.

"Fuck, it's that guy."

A-Train hissed in annoyance.

"You did ran through his girlfriend."

Homelander remarked casually.

"How the fuck did he even kill Translucent, this guy can't do shit."

A-Train said in disdain as Starlight looked at him like she's seen a ghost.

"You're right, he didn't do it alone. He had help from the inside, someone who was feeding him the information he needs. Someone who got him to see Ezekiel and other people."

Homelander said and looked at Starlight.

Seeing this, I crossed my legs and put my chin on my fist as I watched everyone look at her like she is their greatest enemy with an amused smile on my face.

"It's not me, I'm didn't do anything."

Starlight said as she got up with her eyes wet.

"Sit down."

Homelander said calmly with his eyes glowing, this made Starlight sit down with tears in her eyes.

"How could you do this, we are a team. Just because someone did something you didn't like doesn't give you the excuse to do this to us."

Homelander continued in a dangerous tone as he came closer to Starlight who got up again.

"I swear it wasn't me. I could ne--"

"Shut up Missy! Tell me, what would you have done to yourself if you were in my shoes?"

Homelander cut her off in anger and asked her as he came right in front of the scared and crying Starlight.

"Stop it Homelader, it's obvious she didn't do it."

I said in a calm tone.

I've decided to intervene cause this isn't getting us anywhere, everything shows she has no idea the guy was doing this.

I don't even need to read her mind to see that.

"What makes you say that?"

He asked as he turned to face me with a smile that is not a smile.

"It's not rocket science, she is scared and in disbelief.

She was just stupid so just leave her alone and let's focus on the culprits. I will track them down and give their location to you guys."

I said with a stoic expression on my face and got up from my seat.

"I see, it seems today is your lucky day Starlight. Well then, meeting dismissed. I will see you guys later."

Homelander said with a forceful smile and left the room.

Sigh, this is why I don't like people who put thier emotions first before logic.

They are too stupid for my liking.

"Thanks for sticking up for her Virgil, see you later."

Maeve said to me with a small smile and left the room, following Noir and A-Train.

<Beep!>

"What is it Seraph?"

"Cindy is acting up again."

Seraph said.

Sigh, I guess there is no time for the wicked.

"I will see you later Annie, don't get into anymore trouble."

I said to Starlight with a smile and left the room, leaving her to cry but not before I sensed the look of gratitude she sent me.

It's time to meet my troublesome pet.
