[▪︎Vought Tower, New York City▪︎]

It is currently in the afternoon in New York City, everyone is busy going about in the city doing whatever they wanted.

On the sixty-seventh in Vought Tower, Mr. Edgar who is wearing his usual professional attire is being accompanied by two armed security personnel dressed in suits.

The seriousness and air around them deterred the other employees from asking questions and made way for them to pass.

They wanted to know what's going on but judging by how Mr.Edgar who grumpier than usual, they all kept their curiosity in check and watched as the group walked towards Doctor Andrew's office.

Minutes later, they arrived in front of a glass door that has a sign with the Doctor's name on it and barged into the office.

"Who----"

Doctor Andrew was about to question but the words got stuck in his mouth, his face paling when he saw a frowning Mr.Edgar surrounded by armed guards facing him in the modern-style office.

"Doctor Andrews, don't be alarmed. We are just here to ask you some... harmless questions."

Mr. Edgar said with a smile as he sat down in the seat in front of the mahogany desk that has the Doctor sitting behind it with his middle-aged face flushed with nervousness.

"Uhm.. okay, I will be happy to answer your questions but is that really necessary?"

He nervously said as he pointed at the guards who are standing right beside the door with their rifles in their hands, fully intent on not allowing anyone to come in or out of the office without Mr. Edgar's permission.

"Ignore them Doc, this is between us."

Mr. Edgar said with a smile as he crossed his legs.

Doctor Andrews gulped as he cleaned his sweat, extremely nervous and fearful of the situation.

He managed to hide his fear from his face, but his over-sweating and slight shaking body revealed it somewhat.

"Now, let's get to business. Yesterday, I made someone recheck the camera footage and it showed Homelander coming out of your office. Can you please explain why he came here?"

Mr. Edgar asked calmly, his smile no longer on his face.

"Home-Homeland----, Homelander came here to ask about something, it had something to do with his genitalia."

He started nervously but finished confidently in a weird tone, his face showing almost no indication of him lying.

But unfortunately for him, the man in front of him is very experienced when it comes to matters regarding falsehood.

"Really? That's interesting, who would've thought Homelander will be having this kind of problem. And of all people, he came to you to solve it for him. You guys must be close huh?"

Mr. Edgar asked in a shocked tone, his face showing he is buying what the Doctor is saying.

"...Yes, people don't know this but we go way back. I've done my best to help him so he probably won't have that problem anymore."

Doctor Andrews replied confidently with a smile as he cleaned his sweat for the last time, secretly relieved that Mr. Edgar has bought his story judging from the expression on his face.

Suddenly, Mr. Edgar snapped his fingers.

His action made the guards leave the door and point their guns at Doctor Andrews after coming close to him.

"What's ha----"

"Save your bullshit Doctor, I'm not stupid enough to buy your lies. I don't want to waste any more time so it will be best you start telling the truth."

Mr. Edgar advised in a dark tone as his smile vanished with Doctor Andrews shaking in fear.

"I'm tel---"

<Bang!>

One of the guards used the buttstock of the gun to hit his head, making it fall on the desk with little blood forming at the place of impact.

"I will say it again Doctor no more lies just the truth."

Mr. Edgar said as Doctor Andrews held his bleeding head with a terrified expression on his face, his eyes slightly tearing as he hissed from the pain.

"H-H-He came for Compound VS."

The Doctor revealed, making Mr. Edgar's eyes widen with shock.

"Compound VS? How the hell does he know about that and how do you even have one?"

Mr. Edgar asked with a frown on his face.

"He didn't know, he just came here and started asking me if there's a new kind of Compound V being developed. I tried lying but he caught me and threatened to kill me if I didn't give him one.

I-I stole a sample when I used a colleague's connection to visit the secret lab one day, the only reason I know is because he told me the other day when he got drunk. I swear I only wanted to study it, Homelander getting it is a mistake!"

He explained fearfully, pleading with his tearful eyes as he looked at Mr. Edgar who had a contemplating look on his frowning face.

"... I see, this explains everything."

Mr. Edgar after a few seconds of silence and looked at Doctor Andrews with a stoic expression on his face that didn't reveal his emotion or mood.

"From now onwards, you're fired. You are to leave immediately, they will escort you out."

Mr. Edgar announced and stood up from his seat.

The Doctor exhaled a breath of relief as the guards held him up from his seat and pushed him towards the door.

He thought he was going to die but he's just getting fired and he is okay with that since he gets to keep his life after what he has done.

"Trey...."

Mr. Edgar called the guard at the back as they almost left the room and used his index finger to swipe a small line on his neck, gesturing a cut.

The man silently nodded and left the room, leaving him alone in the office.

'Shit, the one time Virgil doesn't manage this kind of thing and stuff like this happens. With this, Homelander is unstoppable.

From what I know about the side effects, his mental health may have deteriorated after using the drug but that's not certain.

No one would want him to get crazier than he is, that wouldn't be good at all. Sigh, you just had to go on a vacation Virgil. At least pick up the damn phone.'

He thought with a grim expression on his face and left the room.

[▪︎Secluded Village, Gambia▪︎]

Small dilapidated cement houses filled the village, their arrangement and layout making it possible that the buildings weren't congested and close enough to make it a tight-knit community.

Children dressed in old and faded clothing can be seen jumping and playing around, the men either walking around holding guns or leaving the village to their farms, the women carrying pans on their heads that contained either harvest or water from the outskirts of the village with some of them drying washed clothes on the drying lines near their respective habitations.

Despite some of the men walking around holding rifles with hard expressions on their faces, no one showed any sign of fear since they were members of the village and were only doing that as part of their daily patrol.

This seemingly peaceful village is the base of a rising terrorist organization that has a Supe terrorist at its head.

The whole village has a peaceful air about it but sadly, today is the day all that shattered.

<Bang!>

Homelander suddenly landed on his knees from the sky, denting the ground in the process with a charismatic smile on his face.

Everyone froze when they saw him and immediately, the civilians started screaming and ran away from where he was as he stood up.

Ignoring their screams that were meant to alert the men in the village, he swept his gaze at his surroundings.

Disdain showed on his face when he saw their poor living conditions.

Minutes later, armed men surrounded him and started shooting him with determined looks on their faces.

Unsurprisingly, the bullets just ricocheted off his suit and fell to the ground. Seeing this, their eyes widened but they continued shooting at him as they roared together with the sound of gunshots.

Homelander just watched this with a bored expression on his face and cut through them with his [Heat Vision] together with a few houses, dissecting them and destroying the houses as a result.

With a mad smile on his face, he continuously killed the men who rushed towards him from all over the village, painting his surroundings with guts, blood, and concrete due to his actions.

<Vhoom!>

Suddenly, large gusts of wind encapsulated him.

A large tornado formed the next second around his figure as a tall dark-skinned man wearing a long white robe continuously swirled his hands in a circular manner, his face serious and angry at the loss of his men.

The tornado increased in intensity and size as the man continued his actions. Some trees, buildings and materials were destroyed as they were being pulled by the tornado's suction force.

The man revealed a smile when he saw this since he was assured that by now Homelander must be dead if not injured and was about to stop but something happened.

<Arrrrrrrrh!> <Boom!>

A shrill cry came from the inside of the tornado and destroyed it with a loud explosion, sending large waves of wind that made the attacker fly through several buildings with the structures around and the surroundings effectively destroyed as a result.

Homelander calmly walked past the destroyed houses, structures, and bodies and came in front of the Supe terrorist who was coughing blood on the ground.

"You tried your best so don't be sad, I'm just that good."

Homelander said with a smirk and instantly stomped on the man's head, crushing it to a paste.

"Mission complete."

He said and with a jump, flew away.

After leaving, a hidden drone came out of one of the buildings and started recording the destruction caused. It recorded the destroyed buildings, the dead terrorists, and finally the innocent women and children that died as a result of the fight.

Ten minutes later, the information was sent to whoever sent the drone there and left.
