"Why don't you just get both?" said Ning Er simply. Eh? Both? Seeing Fang Lin's confused expression, Ning Er explained to him "Didn't you tell me yourself some months ago that there is an 'Item' that acts as a discount for anything you buy?" Uh... was there something like that...? After a few seconds, he finally knew what she meant now and promptly proceeded to execute a legendary technique from his past life, the 'facepalm'.

"Of course! The discount token! I was so focused on choosing A or B I forgot that its an 'Item'. Which means I can just get another one! Aaah... I'm such an idiot" self reprimanded Fang Lin. "Haha Boss is an idiot! Stuuuupid" condescendingly spoke Xiao Bai. Right, she actually spoke! And not through the contract's bond either. When Xiao Bai reached Lv60, 6th rank equivalent, she gained the capability for human speech. Fang Lin was really surprised that time but apparently it's a common thing for almost all magical beasts.
Now sporting a tick mark on his temple, Fang Lin emotionlessly said "Xiao Bai, no dinner." Hearing this, she froze and turned blue in horror. "Aaah Boss! I didn't mean it! Booosss!" Completely ignoring her pleas, Fang Lin looked at all his points and did a little mental math for the things that he wanted to buy and what he got was very promising. All he had to do was spend the 2,000,000 IP and he could get both no problem!

If he used the 90% discount... the cost would cut down to only 750,000 AP! That leaves me with 458,500 AP left. As for the bloodline I've been aiming for awhile now...

A little bit over my budget but with the discount token... it would only cost a measly 50,000 AP!
It might seem like a waste at first to spend 1,000,000 IP just to get something that's worth half that but it's completely worth it! Why? It's because IP can easily be gained just by killing some magical beasts and converting them. AP on the other hand is a bit harder to get as not every magical beasts has a core. You'd be lucky to get 1 core out 10 or more beasts killed.
People in this world have been killing magical beasts for thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of year already and yet there are still more so Fang Lin doesn't need to worry about running out of IP, ever. The reason why Fang Lin really wanted to get this bloodline is because of the 'Immortality' that this bloodline gives. So long as Fang Lin's mind doesn't break under pressure or pain from being 'killed' over and over again, with enough 'energy' to support his regeneration, he'll basically never die! Since Fang Lin has the traits called 'Serene Mind' and 'Pain Tolerance'... my god he was basically borned to be a Phenex!
Also, by getting this bloodline, Fang Lin is basically 'reincarnating' himself into a 'devil' which means he would gain access to 'devil's magic' other than the desired 'immortality'. What is 'devil magic'? It is the ability to 'do anything' with the only limitation being the user's ***imaginations***. Holy fuck! That is the biggest goddamn cheat code there is in the DxD Universe! How it's even possible that those devil hadn't rule that universe yet is a mystery I just can't seem to fathom....
The only and biggest downside to getting this bloodline however, it is gaining a devil's weakness to 'light' and 'holy' based attacks. Fang Lin thought long and hard about how to counter this weakness. What he came up with.. is to just to use another cheat ability and he knows exactly the one.

All Fiction... the 'minus' ability of 'Kumagawa Misogi'. That hax that can literally turn anything into 'nothing'. With a plan ready, Fang Lin did one final check to make sure he has enough points.
7,500,000(0.1) + 500,000(0.1) + 50,000 = 850,000 out of my 1,208,500 AP. More than enough! Strike while the iron is still hot I'd say... First, two discount tokens... then the bloodline...BUY! BUY!

Immediately after purchase, his body began to disintegrate before everything ignited into flames releasing very high intensity heat. Strangely, nothing in the room they were in got affected by the flames and heat at all. Because neither Ning Er nor Xiao Bai were expecting something like that, this sudden turn of event nearly gave them a heart attack. "BOSS!" "FANG LIN!" shouted both girls in fear. Due to her panic, Ning Er forgot that had Fang Lin really died, she would have shared the same fate.
After about 10 minutes passed, all the flames began to converge and formed an outline of a person. Soon, the familiar figure of Fang Lin appeared from the flames as if he was a phoenix being reborn. The scars Fang Lin accrued from his earlier days in battle are now gone completely leaving only flawless skin. He could also now feel a new energy coursing through his entire body, originating from the depth of his very soul. More importantly, when his body burst into flames, he felt as if he had taken a glimpse into the doors containing the very 'concept' of fire and wind themselves. It's a very strange and wondrous feeling and felt like this would become something important in the future.
Seeing that Fang Lin was ok, Ning Er immediately engulfed him in the tightest bear hug she could pull off while Xiao Bai leaped onto his shoulder and snuggled into the base of his neck. At first Fang Lin was confused, but then he felt the immense relief coming from his and Xiao Bai's. Realizing what happened, could only use one arm to pull Ning Er closer to his body if that was possible. The other hand raised upwards to softly pet Xiao Bai's head, whom is now purring as a result.
"Sorry... I've made you girls worried" said Fang Lin from the bottom of his heart. "Un" Ning Er let out as she continued hugging him. What they seem to be forgetting is that Fang Lin is now in his birthday suit as the fire earlier that burned his clothes away. This in turn made him a bit more sensitive in certain... areas... So with a cough, Fang Lin awkwardly said to Ning Er "Uhm... I'm uh, a bit sensitive right now so uh ---cough---could you let go for a bit.. Ning Er?"
Hearing this Ning Er seem to have woken up and felt 'something' poking against her belly. Uh? Due to Fang Lin's lack of clothing, Ning Er finally realized exactly 'what' is poking her, she 'eeeeped' and jumped away with biggest blush ever and didn't dare to look anywhere in his direction. Taking this chance, Fang Lin quickly took out spare pants from his 'Spatial Ring' to cover his junk. Xiao Bai was fortunately closing her eyes in content so she didn't see anything. Good thing too, that was not something a kid should see...
"Anyways, I've got the bloodline successfully. We should move onto the other as planned." Said Fang Lin, sounding very obviously forced. Ning Er with no hesitation chose to take the life line. "Ok, this next one is very important and I hope it actually worked as I hypothesize otherwise I'd be left with a very deadly weakness.... BUY!"

After getting a feel of how 'All Fiction' worked, manual included in the purchase from the system and all, Fang Lin immediately activated the ability. What he's going to target... is the devil's weakness to 'light' and 'holy' elements! Had this been the DxD Universe, it would not have work at all as the way Fang Lin did it, he was targeting not just the devil race, but the world's law set by 'God' himself. But here on 'Blue Haven' planet, there is no 'God' to enforce this particular 'law'. And it worked like he'd hoped as the system message rang.

Stunned at this development, Fang Lin cursed in his heart. Damn it! One year? There goes one of the most useful ability in existence. Oh well... this might actually be a good thing since if I lose control of it, I might accidentally erase everything. "Phew... so far so good. Only one more thing to get and I'll be finished with 'abilities' for awhile. BUY!"

And then the pain began as he felt knowledge being forcefully shoved into brain. If 'Sword Mastery' had been a single textbook, then 'Dragon God Ascension' is the whole goddamn library... times 10!. Thank fucking god I bought the Phenex bloodline before I got this otherwise... my brain would have literally exploded! In fact it actually did just now but my regeneration kicked in. After an agonizing hour... Fang Lin was on all fours, gasping for breath. Holy fuck! There should be warning labels for shit like that!
Shitty experience aside... the D.G.A is amazing! It would actually take too long to explain how it works but the dumbed down version is it uses 'origin energy' to feed and nourish every single cells in the user's body. "Hmm... I'll try to cultivate with this technique later but for now...(Item!)"
