Chapter 3

Changes and First Love

Sarah's suffering increases as the day passes. After recovering Danny had become more violent. So much so that now Danny's father had to come in between to stop the fight. Danny's father always cursed his deceased wife for forcing him to marry Danny. He always empathizes with Sarah but could do nothing to ease her pain.

Six years passed.

" Hello! Is this Mr. Danny? I am calling from Soldier foundation school. Your child Light has been suffering from fever for a week. Could you come to check up his situation."

"ok."

The phone was cut. When Sarah got to know it her face was ashen as if someone has struck her heart in two.

Danny leaves for Light. When he reached the school dormitory he was shocked to see his son lying there with no one looking after him. He was lying there like an orphan suffering from high fever. This lit an emotion in the heart of a devil and he took him to return home without informing the school. This cause expulsion of Light has it was a military school where rules and sacrifices were common.

The child returns back home having age around 10 to 12 years. Light which was very eager to be with his brother now can spend lots of time with him. He can only meet with him during the holidays. The bonds between brothers got closer but he got to see the dark side of his father and suffering of his mother. Due to the financial burden Sarah started working as labor. Time passed and another ten years have passed.

Aman now becomes a child of sixteen years old. He is now in primary school. An inborn genius but the low key. He maintains rank in the top 10 but he never tries to be in top 3. He thinks that being a topper is bother. Teachers always ask for toppers book or check their homework first, lots of students ask for notebooks that bothered him. He never did his homework or make a notebook. He always uses ingenious tricks to escape the detection which gave him a thrill. He borrowed notebooks from other classes and change the nameplate and tell the teacher that his copy is already checked or those teachers who only sign at last page he checked his friend copy and tear the last page. In language, he borrowed his friend last year copy, tears the essay and stick in his copy and change the title. He told the teacher that his younger cousin tears it.

Well all those in ingenious trick he started from age six and haven't caught once. Well the genius was now going on a school trip to the zoo.

He was sitting in between two girls in his class.

" Yo Aman! I can't wait to see the lion." She laughs while saying it. It was the first time for Aman to talk with a girl beside his mother. He was bewitched by her smile. A dup- dup sound came from his heart. He feels like his chest tighten. He wants to see that girl laughs more. That smile with mouth little open little white teeth, pink enchanting lips and that eyes into which he was drowning deeper and deeper to point of no return.

" Aman, what happen why are you not saying anything." said the other girl.

Awakening from his fantasy he laughs and said," I also can't wait to see the lion."

Inside his heart, " I want to see you much more than a lion"

" Anamika why do you want to see lion I love elephant more."

" Well, they are so fierce and on tv I watch them running very fast and I want to watch them again.

Well it is strange for you to sit with us. Don't you used to stay away from girls."

"Amm! Actually I was tasked to sit between two girls. Sorry if I troubled you. I will return right now." saying that he stands up. Anamika held him by grabbing his arm. " No it's fine. Well tell me how you escape from the history teacher, you have not done yesterday homework. "

A pound make in his heart when she held his hand. An electric shock goes from the place she held.

" Well it is no big feat, amm how do you know I didn't do my homework?"

" Well everyone in the class knows that you are the laziest fellow who never does his homework."

" That was quite a hard blow. Well I use a little trick. I quickly write first and the last page and insert filled pages of rough copy in between and done."

"Well quite ingenious, how you think about it?"

"Well I guess a little brain."

" Anamika, you two are so engrossed that you forget me."

" Sorry, Eva well look we reach our destination."

" Well my task is completed so I will be going with my friends. Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

" Goodbye."
