18 Entering the Palace

As the trio past through the forest, they had struggles with some demonic beasts, but nothing really serious. As they were halfway from getting to the palace, the ground started to tremble. Then the domain started to fall into pieces and disappear.

Now that the domain was destroyed, others would come. But the good thing is that now Hammed's trio could fly . They circulated their bloodlines and rushed to the palace.

However, as they got in front of the entrance, a black flying wagon rushed over and posed by their side. Three youths got down from it. The youth in front came to Hammed's group and said "Greetings, I'm the Junior Holy Blacksmith of the Spirit Blacksmith Sect. My name is Marc. What's your name?"

Hammed looked at him and responded "I'm Hammed and theses are my brothers Rafael and Leonard."

Marc listened and said "So it's a pleasure to meet you guys. Would you like to time up just to open the gate? You know, the faster we enter, the more we get."

Hearing Marc's propose, Hammed nodded and said "Okay. As I can see, although you guys have outstanding artifacts, you lack power to use them properly, right?"

Marc smiled and said "It's pretty much that, I have a Demonic Flame Axe, but although we cultivate the element of fire, it's more for forging and not that good for battle." Then he waved his hand and a giant axe flew out of his spacial ring and stuck in the ground.

Hammed looked to Rafael and said "Rafael, please do the honors."

Rafael smiled and walked to the axe and lift it with one hand. Then he circulated his bloodline to the limit. In second he passed through a shocking transformation. His body grew till about 3,5 meters tall, his muscles turned robust, the wings on his back now looked like wings of a dragon. Also, dark flames circulated around his body and entered the axe.

With a leap, he flew at the gate's direction and swung the battle axe forward. A gigantic wave of dark and domineering flames stroke the gate. As that happened, the gate was chopped in half and fell to the ground. Rafael stoped using his bloodline power and turned back to normal.

Then he walked to Marc's direction and extended the axe to him. Marc looked at him and said "Consider this axe as a present for helping us take down the gate so quickly."

Rafael looked at him and said "Alright, thanks." He walked back to Hammed's side looking very happy as he played with his new axe.

Hammed then turned to Marc and said "Now our cooperation is over, good luck for you guys."

Then he turned back to Leonard and Rafael and headed to the gate, entering the palace.

The two other youngsters got close to Marc and asked "Is it okay to give him that axe? Without it he already looked scary, but now it like giving wings to a tiger."

Marc looked calm at them and said "Those guys look like reasonable people, just don't provoke them that they will do nothing with us."

The palace area was huge and had a lot of building all over. However, Hammed chose to go straight to the main palace. This palace was a ruin left behind by a mysterious race with a very peculiar bloodline. Their power were to upgrade other people's bloodline. However, they were a extremely intelligent race. They build a strong army based of races of "lesser" bloodlines that got upgraded by them. So, the army was extremely loyal to them since they gave them a new life and powerful bloodline. The name of this extinct race was Grand Supporter Race.

Hammed hopes were to get their bloodlines upgraded, making their cultivation base more solid for the future. Because in this world, ones bloodline was their future, weak bloodlines could only be suppressed and dominated.

As they just got in the main palace, the gates closed behind them. Then, on the throne in the back part of the hall, a hologram appeared. It was a Grand Supporter Race clansman. He looked at them and said "Since you dared to disturb the eternal rest of my race for glory, you shall have it, but only if your capable of surviving till the finish."

As the hologram finished speaking, from the ground surged lots of mechanical warriors at the Low Essence Plane Realm. Then they started to attack Hammed's group from all sides.

Immediately, the trio circulated their bloodlines and powerful auras surged from their bodies. Hammed took his sword of his back, Rafael trusted up his axe and Leonard summoned his spear.

For that moment onwards, they fought to theirs heart content, killing all the mechanical warrior in their way. They were like gods of war and slaughter. Hammed alone battled a hundred of robots at his same realm head on and by himself, Rafael and Leonard not being to off that either.

They fought for three hours without stop till there was one function robot in the hall. The hologram appeared again and said "Talented youths indeed, now for your final battle, you guys need to beat up this thing over here."

Then, from nowhere, a gigantic mechanical dragon at the peak Essence Plane Realm surged in front of them.

From the start, Hammed already summoned his ocular power and attack the beast with space distortions and made semi teleport attacks at it. Rafael and Leonard also struggled a lot to resist its domain. After a long and tiring battle, with all of the three getting some grave injuries, like broken bones, they finally managed to stand on the end, taking down the beast.

The hologram looked at them, and a mysterious blue mist left from the ground and passed through their bodies. As it passed, the injuries got better and the bones started to mend themselves back together. Then he said "Congratulations, you wined the right to ask for one bloodline upgrade each, please make your choose and I will tell if it can or not be done."

Rafael responded first " I would like a new element in my bloodline."

Then the hologram asked "Witch one you choose?"

Rafael them asked back "If I choose the earth element, it the future, can I merge the Fire and Earth elements to controle volcanos and magma?"

The hologram responded "Yes."

Rafael, very happy said " Then please do it."

A flash of light descended from the skies and enter Rafael's body. He sat down and started the upgrade process.

Now it was Leo's time. He looked at the hologram and said "Can I have the ability to summon a heavenly weapon with my bloodline power?"

The hologram said "Yes, what weapon would it be?"

Leo responded "A lightning element spear."

The hologram said "Okay" as the same process that happened with Rafael happened to him.

Then Hammed looked at the hologram and said "I want the power of physique and essence rapid recovery and cure. Can I have it?"

The hologram though a bit and responded "Yes".

Hammed just smiled and said "Then let it be."

A flash entered his body and he also sat to begin the upgrade process.
