1 Adulthood Test

It was a sunny morning. The air was filled with excitement, because today was the adulthood test of that year. The clan was agitated, with people walking to everywhere making preparations. This was the Heavenly Judgment clan, a sect constituted from the Heavenly Judgment race. They had tall and strong bodies, not much different from a normal human. But the eye catching feature from this race was the pair of strong and long angel wing on their back, awakened when one turn into a adult in the clan, and their huge ability controlling light.

Hammed woke up really early, and began his morning meditation. Then he made some breakfast an headed to central courtyard of the clan. While he walked there, everyone he past by gave him a disgust gaze.

In the center of the main courtyard, there was a group of youths sparing. When Hammed arrived, everyone ignored him. Then, a member of the group, named Max look at him and said in a mocking tone "Well, well, well, isn't it the biggest waste of the clan, what did you come here for? Don't tell me you want to participate in today's test since at the age of 17, your cultivation is still at the meridian state."

Hammed look at him with a rather calm expression and said " It's the duty of all youth of the clan at the age of 17 to participate in the test of adulthood."

Max heard his words, laughed a lot and spoke "You, a youth of the clan? You're not even worthy of being called trash of the clan." All of those present also started to laugh nonstop. Then he added " But don't worry, today is your last day in the clan, because according to the rules, those who don't pass the most basic part of the adulthood test, that is to have an early essence sea cultivation, are expelled."

Just as he finish speaking, a strong flash shone from the sky. Everyone look up and observed with admiration while three royal figures descended from above, with six pairs of golden wings each. They posed in from of all people present and the one in the center said with a domineering voice "Welcome you all for this day of glory, the day in which new members of the clan will be chosen."

Everyone started de talk excitedly " Look, those are the three Great Elders, I heard that their power are second only to the patriarchy, it's a great honor to see them today."

The elder from the right waved his hand, and from nothing, a big transparent rock appeared in front of everyone. Then he said " Those who are passing through the test today, form a line to test their cultivation in the Heaven testing stone."

All the youths formed a giant line and started to test out their cultivation:

"Blue, two stars: mid essence sea."

The elder said "Good, next one."

"Blue, one star: early essence sea."

He said "Cultivate more and don't lack in diligence, next."

"Blue, two stars: mid essence sea."

...

Now it was Max's time to go up. He walked proudly to the Heaven testing stone and inject his power in:

"Red, two stars: mid essence world."

When the crowd saw this, everyone went crazy in excitement, with everybody commenting "What a genius that shone up today."

The Great Elder looked at him, and nodded his head saying "Looks like we have a good sapling here."

Time passed, everybody calmed down, and the tests continued on. Now there were only a few youth to test their cultivation, and it was Hammed turn now.

He calmly walked at the Heaven testing stone to start his test.
