1 Spade's Life

One Morning, A beautiful Woman was lying down on a bed with pain painted on her face.

"you can do it maria! a little bit more!" said a nurse that was seating beside her. "Aaaaa" Maria screamed in pain as blood dripping from the bed sheets.

"You did Maria! it's a baby boy!" the nurse held the baby gently lifting the baby up and gently giving it to the mother.

"he's so cute, he's got his father's eye!" said Maria while looking at the baby with tears.

"Aww but where is that idiot husband of yours! he should had been here by now!" the nurse said angrily. "haha, don't worry he must have his reasons. They might had called him for the war" Maria smiled looking at the polluted sky by the window.

It was evening when suddenly the door was open revealing a person with an army cloth and dirt all over them.

"Honey... im sorry i couldn't be there, how was it. is it boy or a girl" the man smiled radiating warmth. This was known as a father's love, Maria showed the baby to her husband.

"Albert, it's a boy" Maria showed him his son. "a baby boy... i have a baby boy" Albert had tears flowing down his cheek that had dirts, cuts and blood smudge.

Maria handed him his son slowly, "Albert, you should name him since it's a boy" They had an agreement before, if its a boy Albert will be the one naming him but if its a girl Maria will name her.

While they were thingking, the door was opened but this time it was another soldier that came in. "Sir, the General requested you to meet with him and help in the frontline"

"Tell the general i will be right there, then about your name it will be Spade HAHAHA" Albert burst laughing not because of anything that was funny but to hide his tears.

"I'll be heading out now Maria, See you tomorrow" a drop of tear fell from his eye as he said this.

In the early morning, was cooking food waited for her husband to return from work. As she finished cooking she prepare the table, the door bell rings.

Maria was so happy for his return and ran to greet him but the once smiling face turn to a confused one."is this Albert's wife, Miss Maris?" the man asked while carrying a suitcase and a military cloth. "Yes, i am Maria wife to Albert D. Deck. Maria answered with a confused manner." We came to tell you news about Albert, he leaded the frontline ending the war but for the price of his life" the man said with a serious tone but there was bit of sadness.

Maria felt weak on her knees and cried. The man couldn't do anything. "This is his cloths and his stuff" the man passed them and went on his way. Maria cried and cried till her eyes was swollen. She fed Spade and wrote a letter, grabed a rope and tied herself up.

The neighbors noticed Spade's cry and was worried to why a child was crying for a whole night. He broke in only to found a child and his mother hanging on the ceilings with tears, her neck had rope marks and her eyes was swollen.

Spade was sent to a foster home and was taken care of, he lived there for 4 years not knowing his father who died from the war and his mother who died by suicide.

They told him about his parent's death but only to be shocked by his reaction. Spade didn't even cried nor sad, he was emotionless.

They thought he would grow up to be an outstanding boy since his facial features were a top class, beautiful silver pair of eye and long eyelashes, long and curly hair and a jawline that will grow to be perfect.

Spade was grew in the foster home with the other kids but one by one they were adopted except for Spade as they would see him as weird.

But one day, he was adopted to be a lab rat by the special agent that came. the kids pittied him and only look away as to not be adopted for a reason like him.

the conducted a lot pf experiments on him, the drugs was obviously for a future war. he was injected strength, speed, stamina, reflex and sight. It was a never ending pain for Spade.

Failure after Failure, they did not gave up and injected Spade with a brand new drug that will make that person felt no pain, no emotions, quick regeneration and unending will.

It was a super drug that had a high potential but the amount of doses was too much. Spade had never felt such pain that could make him spoke for the first time. "why" he said before his heartbeat stop and died.
