"Welcome to Conquerer of Worlds!"  Said a voice and then I appeared in front of a pyramid with a desert city laid out before me. I could hardly tell the difference between this and real life. Everything felt and smelt real. Just as I was about to go explore the desert city a lady appeared and spoke in the same voice

"I am Zend your General and I urge you not to leave your pyramid at this time master," said the girl. I looked over the dessert city and saw goblins come out of the palm tree  🏝 forest. They began attacking the desert city. I had spawned with a strange Egyptian style curved sword. I unsheathed it and ran for them. They were actually pretty tough, I approached the first one and exchanged clashes in swordplay with it. Before kicking it in the chest and stabbing it through the gut. It then disintegrated and dropped a pouch of silver coins and a rainbow crystal the size of my finger. Zendaya sighed, picked them up and put them in a bag as we strode along dealing with the small fry. There were about five goblins in total.

"Yabba!," roared something from the depths of the palm tree forest. I looked up to hear a deep raspy voice from the system

A large goblin then stepped out of the forest and charged toward me. It ripped out a palm tree 🌴 and swiped at me with it. I jumped back and threw my sword at it impaling it in the chest. Unfortunately it didn't die. I grabbed my sword, rolled under it's legs dodging a second swipe and sliced its leg off.

"Arghh!," that only pissed it off more. But before it could stand I sliced it's head off with a finishing blow.

"It will soon begin," said Zend as she pulled me through the doors of the pyramid and lead me to an armory inside.

"Do you have anything enchanted?," i said as I browsed the armory for something eye catching but it was empty except for a few rows of shields and curved daggers and swords that were no different from what i spawned with.

"Enchanted? ," said the girl. Just then the pyramid shook and I heard cries of anguish from the desert city. I arrived outside to see a giant scorpion attacking my pyramid. I took out the curved sword and readied myself for battle.

[Boss Battle alert!!!]

"Allow me master, you are not ready," said Zendaya as she got between me and the beast, lifted her staff and shot a beam of light. She incinerated it instantly.

"You must choose a path first master," said Zend. She explained that every Conquerer had their own unique General that guided them. Then she explained that I must pray to a god first and take on their path which is akin to being able to call on their powers in times of need. She recited the words I just say and then stepped back. I finally settled on a god who's path offered some really cool abilities.

"Oh Anubis, please lend me your power to build my empire," I said as I bowed deeply.

"Very well Mortal," said a disembodied voice.

skeletal hands reached out of the ground and began to drag me under...

"What the fu," I whispered before I was completely submerged.
