Filled With Evil Spirits

~~~START~~~
"Pardon my intrusion," The doors to the Principal's office opens with a simple click, a female student walks in the middle of the room wearing the school's uniform, a soft unreadable smile plastered on her porcelain skin. Her silvery gray hair falling in waves down to her waist while she clasps her hands in front of her. She stood in the middle of the room with elegance and grace. Poise and beautiful.
She along with the Principal and two unknown men occupied the Principal's office. The unknown men stood in front of the Principal with aloof expressions. The air around them highly different compared to the girl smiling next to them.
"Maruyama-san this is Kazuya Shibuya and Koujo Lin—they work for Shibuya Psychic Research, and Shibuya-san, Lin-san this is Maruyama Akemi, the Senior Highschool President." The Principal gestures to the three people in the room while he introduced them to each other, Akemi sending them a greeting nod. The Principal turns to Akemi. "-if you could please show them around especially on the Old School Building, it wouldn't be much of a hassle, would it?" The Principal asks the girl, who nodded without asking much else.
"It won't be a bother, Principal." smiles, lifting her lids to reveal bright purple eyes. "-I'll gladly lead them to the Old School Building." She adds before gesturing to the two guests out of the room.
The first one to leave the room seemed to be the youngest, he looked younger than the man he is with and stood taller only by a few inches.
'I believe this is Kazuya Shibuya-san...' Akemi silently thought to herself as the door of the office closed with a light click. The heiress turns to face the SPR crew with a welcomingly smile on her lips, her eyes open, still revealing her bright purple orbs but it seemed to have a haze appearance in them.
(Naru) kept his stare longer at Akemi for a second— noticing the rare eye color before pulling out a folder, keeping everything passive. "If you don't mind me asking, Maruyama-san."
"Hm?" Akemi places her gaze at (Naru), her head tilting slightly to the side.
"Maruyama-san, what do you know about the Old School Building?" (Naru) asks, his expression stoic for business. 'Even his voice is stoic and cold...'
"...You... have quite a handsome voice...!" Akemi unknowingly praises— realizing what she has said, the girl decides to go for it. Placing a gentle hand on her cheek, her smile widens a bit as she giggled. Unaware of the slight halt of (Naru)'s fingers from her out of nowhere boldness and widening eyes of Lin.
"-and please, Akemi is fine... Let's see... The old school building... Well rumors said it's haunted..." Akemi continued gesturing for them to follow her when she started to walk away from the hall. The tease now out of her expression with her smile toning down to a slight frown, her brows furrowed in concentration.
"You.. seem to doubt the rumors." Lin pointed out as he caught Akemi's change of attitude, while (Naru) placed his gaze at Akemi's frail fingers touching the walls as if she was tracing something.
"Well... I would start believing such rumors once I see it for myself," Akemi said letting out a cryptic smile.
"You seem so sure." (Naru) points out as he assessed Akemi, 'This girl smiles too much.'
"Well that old school building is quite ancient, somewhere before the World War II... The construction would have rot over time— its bound to break one in a while— I suggest both of you to be very careful when wandering around, the wooden floors might break with the slightest weight." Akemi warned receiving a nod from (Naru) as he removed his attention on her fingers and to the folder he was holding.
"-The cold temperature on the building, could be because a few of its windows are broken, especially since half the building is only covered in tarp." Akemi says as they finally reached the outside, nearing the Old School building ahead. "For the noise— as I've said it is an old building with dozens of scary stories... Any noise would bound to be scary for any person inside when in reality it could just be the wooden materials caving in or the winds whistling on the creaks..."
"But I cannot say about one of the students seeing a figure... it could be just a simple hallucination or something made up," Akemi finished giving out a sheepish smile when she noticed that she has been speaking her mind the whole way.
"Thank you for your input." (Naru) impassively nodded, his folder now long hidden when Akemi started telling them about the Old School building and explaining her thoughts about it.
No one seems to notice but a few years of experience made Lin glanced at (Naru) noting that the boy did seem like it was nothing. Lin however, thought differently. The Tech Assistant could tell that Naru was taken aback at the student's logical deduction.
Being sure of her words. She carried the same air as (Naru) when he is certain about his findings.
"I see..." and soon they stopped in front of the Old school building, Lin leaving for a while to get the van. "Maruyama-san..." Akemi turns her head, tilting it in question.
"Hai~?"
"Do you have trouble seeing?" (Naru) asks indifferently, turning to face the girl with his notebook tucked under his arm. (Naru) knew it was none of his business but something in him, an intuition perhaps pushed him to ask her.
"Eh?" Akemi's eyes widened at the unexpected question, (Naru) sighed.
"You let your fingers touch the wall and you turn to face the stairs at the last second after your hand hangs after the edge. Yet it seems you know where Lin and I are located and don't have the trouble to face where we are or look directly at us... so you can 'see' partially. I also noticed how you tripped at a rock just in front of you... even a baby would know it would trip if it sees it, either you are an idiot or just something else..." (Naru) let his words hang while he continued to assess Akemi's expression— her shock turning into awe as he finished.
(Naru) didn't expect the girl to laugh at him, but she did.
"—Pfft! pardon me... I guess I am something else~?"
"I'm partially blind in a way but only small amount of people know about this, so please keep this secret to yourself..." Akemi admitted, clasping her hands behind her back as she smiled at (Naru) just in time for Lin to pass by them with the SPR van. "-Well this is where I'll leave you two be, I would like to stay and help but our class are practicing for our ceremony and there is also our clubs," Akemi frowned at the lost opportunity to investigate, really wanting to help.
"It is fine, we were just about to look around the building for the day." (Naru) said to Akemi as they walk closer to the van, Lin already opening the trunk.
Akemi brightens, clasping her hands while her face sparkled. "Maybe... Maybe I could help you both tomorrow?" She asked while (Naru) opened the trunk of the car— her question made him stop for a second and glanced at the girl behind him who continued to stare at his direction with want.
'If I remember correctly, the Broadcasting club and English club might have a few articles concerning the cases of the old school building! I'll go check it out later...' Akemi thought to herself, not even hearing (Naru)'s first words— or that because she didn't let his words bother her.
"Your help is unnecessary," (Naru) said turning around to face the van without as much reaction. "- You may do whatever you, please." he added.
Akemi practically shined, straightening her back with lift of her heels. "Then I'll come and help you guys tomorrow~!" Akemi beamed letting her fingers touch making a triangle out of her hands before bowing to them as she went ahead, leaving the two men in silence.
'Shibuya-san seems to be a stick in the mud but his job sure is interesting~' Akemi giggled and went to her class, her step hopping with a soft click.
~~~NARU LIN~~~

"What a weird girl..." (Naru) spoke after a while— staring at the main school building where Akemi left.

"I agree," Lin nodded but his eyes were mostly concentrated on (Naru), inspecting the young man.

"If Gene were here, he would comment on her appearance." (Naru)'s words made Lin snap his attention to him. The sudden movement of Lin didn't bother (Naru), he kept his stance passive with his eyes still gazing at the building. 'She reminds me of someone...'

"Do you think she is appealing?" Lin asked, still stunned at (Naru)'s uncharacteristic action.

Naru shook his head at the unimportant factor that just passed his mind and went back to work— not bothering to answer Lin and went back keeping to himself as always but his mind kept drifting off to a certain student that was in no ways, normal.
