Jess is a beautiful young lady in her early twenties, she sees no big deal in working hard since she has been made to know that in their family they have to work hard and serve others before they can make it in life. she lives with her aged grandmother who subjected her to different house chores and made her take up two menial jobs that is a means of sustenance for both of them.

Jess works as a waiter in a restaurant and has a teacher in a school. she loved by all in both workplaces as she is a calm and accessible person to them. Grandma wade that Jess lives with always complain that Jess isn't working harder enough to take care of her has she has taken care of Jess from childhood to this age but the young lady always feels bad that the Grandma doesn't acknowledge her effort toward them having a good life. Jess is a lady who doesn't know what it means to be loved cause she doesn't know why her parents and the rest of her siblings moved to the states leaving her here to take care of this old woman. she always have a question at the back of her mind that why is she being treated that way by her own family.
